I would of rated this lower, but the pictures of the bee grubs are amazing! We've read dozens of bee books and this has to be some of the coolest images. The other images and facts in this book are pretty bland, but as a starting off point it would be good (especially for young readers). I also appreciate that they kept the language simple so my daughter could sound out the words as we read the book together.

DK Readers level 1 beginning to read
I really liked this book for its close up photography and informative text. Based on some of the other leveled readers we carry I think this one would be closer to a level 2 or 3 with some publishers. There is quite a bit of text.
