Wulven Kings MC #3

Broken Warrior

Rate this book
As the son of a Wulven Kings founder, Spider has the MC flowing through his veins and tainting his soul.
The club is all he's ever known and from a young age, Spider was taught that the club is family, and he has to protect his family, stay loyal to them, and put them above everything else regardless of the price he might have to pay in order to do it.
Spider has sacrificed everything for the Wulven Kings, sacrificed and suffered more than anyone knows, and when one of his decisions puts the entire MC in danger, he places the blame heavy on his shoulders.
Blame that causes so much guilt it might finally be enough to crush him... until a dark angel with an even darker past joins the WKMC, and Spider has to decide how much more he's willing to lose.
Is his dark angel enough for Spider to reclaim the broken pieces of who he once was and be the man he was born to be, or will this warrior fall victim to the man he's become and take his entire family down with him?

Wowsers I wasn’t expecting that! The heartbreak and the love was so incredibly well written that I was crying along side the main characters with every up and down. Gosh James just melts my heart the little cutie! His relationship with Fin is everything and more! This story really touched on some heavy things to do with drug addiction, anxiety, PTSD and SA but I feel that it was written very tastefully clearly the author A. K. Graves has done immense research on these subjects with their clear understanding of the real life struggles with recovery I was truly touched by how well it was handled.

Also a huge bonus in this series is that couples and other characters from previous books 1 and two make many appearances and you still get to see their lives which I love especially because I’m so attached to the female and male main characters from book 2

❤️🖤I would 100% recommended this series 🖤❤️

This was everything I was hoping for. I knew when I read Sinister Red & Surviving Midnight that when we got to Spiders story it was going to be good and A.K. Graves didn't let us down. We learned early on that there were more demons than those we'd learned of in earlier stories in the series (not necessary to read those first, but I do recommend it). But the love they have for each other, and for James, was enough for them to persevere even when you'd start to worry they might give up. Tate and Spiders journey was beautifully heart wrenching at times but absolutely worth all the pain to reach their HEA.

One Word: PHENOMENAL

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

OMFG the book hangover I got from reading this still has me reeling from this book. I seriously can not get enough of A.K. Graves Wulven Kings MC series. I have several different series I have deemed my favorites but this one is quickly moving to the top of that list. The heart and soul plus the passion A.K. Graves pours into the books of this series is absolutely phenomenal. And Broken Warrior is packed plum full of raw emotion and passion.

This is Spider’s story and how he fell to his knees in love for the first time ever after he took in Blondie’s sister Tate and her son James. Their story is not an easy one not for any of them. Spider’s fight with addiction and self worth is what really hit home for me in this and to see him pull through it all the way he did was an absolute beautiful miracle. Having a support system and people that love you truly makes it a lot easier and way worth the fight. Tate and her boy James’ fight with being free and away from the abuse they were subjected too was no less of a hardship either and seeing how they got away and began to recover from their brutal life with the help of family and Spider was a true blessing too. Even though dangers still lurked in the shadow for them they still continued to fight and to get better. This story proves that sometimes it just takes love and determination to get your HEA that everyone deserves regardless of the choices we make and the struggles we face.

This story literally ripped my heart out and gutted me from page one. Not just because I could relate to it but because A.K. made this story and her characters so real and so true to life it was hard not to get pulled into their story and experience what they experienced thru each and every thought and motion of their recovery and survival. Not to mention James will steal your heart the moment you meet him on these pages. Honestly no words could even begin to express how phenomenal this book was. Am seriously looking forward to what she has in store for us next. Highly recommend this book and this series to everyone especially if you like strong characters who truly fight for what they want and deserve in life.

I started reading this book as soon as I was able to. I actually binge read the whole thing in a matter of hours. That's right. I read the whole book in a single day. This book revolves around a genius level IQ biker and a woman running away from her abusive "owner" with her son. Just when I thought things wouldn't make me cry anymore, I was sorely wrong. This book really made me appreciate the work that Graves puts into her work. Reading about these characters didn't make it feel like I was reading a book but watching a show with the delicate balance of detail and dialogue. The other part that I loved was that the characters felt real. They weren't like those other books where the main couple has a meet cute, they fall in love and the rest of the book is just their story of getting together. This book was more than that. No relationship is ever that simple and that was exactly what happened. At no point was anything that they did ever simple and I was happy about that. I could honestly gush about this book for hours but then I would be depriving the next reader of the joy and tears that was Broken Warrior. I even wrote a whole blog post about it, so check that out if you want to hear more of my thoughts in the book.

(ARC REVIEW)

Have you ever read a book that you knew would cause you emotional distress but kept reading because you knew there was a happy ending? Well, that was me with this book. Ms. Graves can show you my emotional distress with the messages we shared.

This can be read as a standalone but I feel you need to read the first two to get a better understanding. The end of the second book gives you the idea behind this book. Then it slides into this book. Let me just say holy emotions. The book is raw, powerful, and emotional. At one point I told Ms. Graves we were no longer friends yes Im dramatic like that. Fin who goes by Spider is an absolute mess but the way his backstory is described I feel like some of his actions were justified minus the big doozy.  There was a point in this story that did I want to throttle him but I also wanted to hold him while he cried. Tate well that girl deserved a group hug from a bunch of moms at a school board meeting.  Let's discuss her son, James, and how adorable that kid was. I wanted to pinch his little cheeks and build legos with him. Do not go into this book thinking it's a fairy tale because trust me it is far from it. This book paints a picture of real-life and it grips you from the very first page. Just remind yourself the whole time you are reading that there is a happy ending.

I was somehow miraculously given the opportunity to get an ARC of Broken Warrior.

So that meant I had to binge the first two books in WKMC. And boy did I go for a ride. A ride on a motorcycle without a helmet, at night, in the rain, with no lights.

Yes, I loved book 1 and 2. But Broken Warrior??? Thats where my feelings felt feelings.

Spider… I really don’t know how to explain him honestly. I love him. So hard. He’s one of those characters that you read and you just wish you knew someone like that in real life. His experiences in this book were so real and hit very close to home. And AK wrote this character, with his very traumatic past and present so. Fucking. Well.
There are definitely triggers. But so accurately represented that it really didn’t feel like a negatively affecting trigger for me. It almost felt…. Like a release? A healing? A kindred spirit maybe?

I just know when I was done, I felt it was complete. It was the best HEA ever.

Oh, speaking of. Tate was cool. A strong, beautiful character. Great match for Spider. James was ADORABLE and the glue that held Spider and Tate together while they sorted their business. But really… it’s all about Spider.

Omg this far one of the best books I have ever read Fin Aka spider and Tates story breaks my heart put me in a emotional rollercoaster because it breaks for these 2 broken souls until they truly find peace within each other the way they both condemn their self to feel like they don’t deserve love is so heartbreaking this story is so captivating you will not be able to stop read until the very last page and will reread it because you crave more the love of Tate and fin is so deep on how they want to protect the other and how they support each other in their darkest moments , the story with fin mother Nadine I could not stand the way she treats him and makes him feel unworthy and the way tates ex psycho treated her only to own her but never love her or that sweet child this story has love suspenseful storyline of what will happen and steamy sexual chemistry between aging and Tate will they get their HEA I crave more from this series and one of the best author I have read .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is not your typical MC story, in that Spider is in an MC, but the story doesn’t revolve around the MC.

Spider is also a story that will take you on a dark an twisted ride, and the only thing you can do is hang on and pray that AK doesn’t do you dirty. This is a story that will follow you, you’ll remember Tate and Spider, and you will want to lick him. That’s cool, I’ll share, but also mine.

Spider has demons, Tate has her trauma, but they are so good for each other as they work together to be worthy of each other. That being said, boys are dumb, so feel free to also want to kick his butt. This book has big emotions, dark elements, and is done so well. I love each of the Wolven Kings, but Spider is incredibly special to me, even when I wanted to kick him for trying to be noble yet dumb.

Each of these books get better and better and it’s because of the depth, care, and trauma as you wade into this world. Run and don’t walk to binge this series.

Ok, let’s be honest… who would not fantasize with a sexy, handsome Scottish Viking of a man, with a troubled past, drug addiction, anxiety issues, PTSD, the gentlest soul you can imagine, a mouth-watering body and such a high IQ that would put Einstein to shame?
Well, meet Finlay Tavish “Spider” MacAllister! A.K.Graves has made it, again!
Created characters with such a story that will hook you to the pages, make you cry your eyes out (A.K. we should charge you a tissues fee lol…), laugh and experiment all the emotions in between.
If you are familiar with the Wulven Kings MC Series, you already met Spider and Tate in previous instalments. Their story is so well written, with priceless scenes (let’s talk about the pole one in the epilogue…..), that I’m already looking forward to the next one.

Broken Warrior is the third book of the Wulven Kings MC and I wanted to know more about Fin (even if I only knew him as Spider) from the very beginning of Sinister Red.
Even if Broken Warrior can be read as a standalone, the reading experience is much better after reading the first two books : there are appearances of characters from the other books and the meeting of Fin and Tate happens in the 2nd book.

A genius biker with secrets, a damsel in distress : that's all it takes for A. K. Graves to write a wonderful and complicated love story where both characters struggle not to let their dark pasts prevent them to have a future together.
Their journey to HEA is not easy to read, it's very emotional but the author gives us some taste of sunshine along the way with the connection between Fin and Tate's son.
I can't wait to read the next book in that series !

This series just gets better and better (and it was already amazing from the start). The characters are so well written. The author does an amazing job weaving these fantastic backstories for each character and you end up loving them despite their dark past or their current dirty deeds. Spider has been one of my favorite characters since book one. After reading this story, I adore him even more, as well as Tate and her adorable son James. These three have been thru some dark things and their broken pieces come together so beautifully. There is a lot of darkness in this book; murder, drugs, kidnapping, abuse of all kinds; but it’s just so well written and engaging. I read it in one sitting, completely engrossed. I am pretty sure that I cried thru half of it. Absolutely loved this book!!

I cannot believe that I have been missing out on A. K. Graves!! This is the first book that I have read by her but cannot wait to go back and read the 2 other books in this series. From my perspective, this can be read as a standalone, however, after reading this book, you’ll want more from her.
This book is about Spider (Fin), Tate and her son, James. James is too cute for words! Spider finds his soulmate in Tate. Being in an MC, does bring about a certain amount of danger. As it is, both Fin and Tate have more than their fair share of emotional baggage.
There was so much going on in this book but not too much that you get lost. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great book!

Beautifully Broken ❤️‍🩹
This story was a tough one for me. Addiction is a touchy subject for me and my personal story did not have an HEA. I can’t tell Ms Graves how much I appreciate the way she dealt with this very difficult subject. Spider’s story was tough but I loved that there was not a magical turning point and poof the problems were gone. It was a hard and difficult journey. The love story between Spider and Tate was so heartfelt, so raw, so heart wrenchingly beautiful. A.K. nailed the inner monologue, the self loathing and the insecurities experienced by addicts and the ones that love them. Please read trigger warning for this novel. In addition to addiction, there are other difficult topics that Ms Graves handled beautifully in my humble opinion.

"We are both broken, Fin, but our jagged pieces fit together perfectly." said Tate. One of many lines that I read and reread as it made such an impact. Fin and Tate- so hard to read about their demons, insecurities and damaged souls, as well as James, Tate's 4 year old son. They all have been through so much. I love their connection, how our author brings them together. She handles her characters histories of abuse with great care as well as Fin's drug use and it is encouraging to read. The story is full of hope, sadness, danger, surprised twists and so much love. I'm not sure how many times I sighed: "Oh Fin" as I read of his struggles and his love for Tate and James. What wonderful characters our author has created. This is a powerful story not to be missed.

I think book 3 has got to be my favourite so far.
The author definitely makes all the men super tall (so not complaining, I love it!)

I just want to live in this world forever. I can’t wait for the rest of this series now.

The author has done such a great job at world building and creating more fantastic characters .
It was such a heartbreakingly good book and I can’t express just how much I love Fin and Tate and cute little James.

This is a must read series and I highly recommend this series and this author completely!

It was so nice to finally read Spiders story! Although it was very difficult hearing about the terrible experiences Tate, Fin and even James lived through, it was also quite rewarding to follow their healing process together. Life in this MC seems so violent and dealt with so many dark aspects of human nature/society. As Tate and Fin confront their pasts and begin the journey to heal, it was satisfying to see the values of truth, family and individual self-worth as a key to wellness and happiness.

I received an ARC and I am voluntarily sharing my honest review.

Both Tate and Fin are broken people, both have had a tough life and together they will make each other whole. Tate took her four-year-old son and ran, Fin was the one who ended up being her safe haven and much more. Now, the two must learn to heal, to fight for what they want, and that's each other. You will laugh, cry, and fall in love with this series all over again. Happy ending that takes some work and a sassy hero and heroine coming into their own. This is beautifully broken and wonderfully woven togethr.

Broken warrior is the third book in the Wulven kings MC series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading at least surviving midnight before starting this book.

The story is about Tate who is a single mother running away from an abusive past and Spider AKA Fin who is fighting his own demons. A.K. Graves writes a broken hero like no other and it is one of my favorite things about her books. A.K. Graves has the power to make you fall in love with her characters and make you feel like you are part of the story. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!

This is the 3rd book in this series. Spider and Tate are two lost and broken souls that need to forgive themselves before they can move on. They both come with a lot of baggage, but can love mend their lost souls. Will they find forgiveness in themselves and in each other. Before it's too late. The past has a way of catching up. Evil will be coming. Will they survive. Only one way to find out..... You must read this book, but I recommend that you start this series from the beginning. You won't be disappointed.

This story has two very broken souls meet. Horrible things have happened to them throughout their lives, making them extremely mistrustful and doubt everything and anything. Both are dealing with major anxiety and panic attacks, the results of extremely vicious past traumas. Add an adorable little boy to the mix and magic starts happening. This story had me tearing up more than once, as much in sadness as in joy. It's sometimes atrocious to read, but the hard parts make the good ones so much brighter. A beautiful story of self redemption and freeing yourself from your past. Will read again.

Every emotion in the book was wrapped up in the story. Heartache, love, sadness, joy, and everything in between. Tate and Fin are without a doubt the perfect match. Their broken pieces fit each others and they also learned from each other to overcome their fears. Also…how could you not love James and the connection he had with Fin. Another amazing book by AK Graves…this series just keeps getting better and better.

I really loved Tate and Fin’s book! Tate is a strong, caring woman, who does everything she can to start her life over so her and James can be safe. She is also patient to put up with hot and cold moody, stubborn Viking Scot, Fin. Fin’s character was frustrating at times and just when he pulls his head out of his butt he turns around and pushes Tate away for some other new reason.
This was an amazing book with danger, action, broody bikers and plenty of steam!

Spider and Tate with all the love

The third book of the Wulven Kings is here with the story of Spider and Tate and IT IS EVERYTHING!!! I am absolutely in love with Spider, his story and how he evolved through the book was epic. Tate was the shy girl turned strong and confident who was thr perfect puzzle piece for him. To get to their HEA they did have some bumbs but it only made their love story and their love for each other stronger!!

Spider and his Dark Angel.... just wow.

This story is everything you would expect and want from a WCMC book and a story from AK Graves, and then it is so much more.

Both Spider and Tate are so broken but they just need to be together and that journey is such a bumpy one, but so good

Maybe the best in the series so far.

Spider has opened his home to Tate and James vowing to protect them but he has demons and secrets, low self esteem which leads him to not only abuse himself but push the people he loves away. Tate never thought she would love anyone until the giant of a man, she just hopes she can get through to him.

Action packed, page turning, emotional rollercoaster, loved every page.

Sweet Mary Mother of God! Grab a box of Kleenex and prepare yourself for a helluva ride. Holy F! I thought I was prepared for this, I WAS NOT! A.K. ripped my heart out stomped on it and when I didn’t think I could take anything more she proved me wrong. There’s heartbreak and beauty in this one, just know that as always there’s a happy ending but it’s a rough road to get there.

Spider is the broken badboy. As he is struggling with his guilt, he has to decide which path to take. Between more self destruction or salvation. You can’t help but fall in love with Spider and Tate.

This is the third instillation of this series and I’m Obsessed as I always am with AK Graves Books. Would highly recommend!

Surprisingly good read. Fin & Tate story - both with tragic backgrounds and seem to work together. Struggled with the ending as Fin still tries to leave her (bc he thinks he’s bad for her and doesn’t deserve rate & her son James) however he stays then we get a 6month view into the future. I will try another from this series and author
