Excellent story with very believable characters and good plot.
Although the first book was a bit better, this story kept me captive throughout the entire book. It was very believable, with characters that were fleshed out to the point where I cared about what happened to them. There were some parts that could have been talked about a little bit more just to add extra intrigue. But, overall the story was entertaining and a quick read. I highly recommend this book and the first book also.
If you're looking for a romance novel with sexy monsters, DO NOT read this book. LaFountain has restored my faith in the genre of true horror novels. Although both novels are quick reads, they lack nothing in character development, plot twists and turns and good old fashioned scary as hell monsters. Loved both novels and look forward to Ed Landry's next encounter! Please don't keep me waiting Jack!
This is the 2nd book following Ed Landry and it was great. The plot and characters were engaging and I really felt connected. I can’t wait to read the next in this series.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters were easy to believe, while some of them kept you guessing, this was the kind of book that wasn’t easy to put down.
Warning: This is the second in the series! I read it out of order. That said, entertaining story for this time of year. Creeping up on Halloween, good time for loup-garou. Enjoyed it.
Book two in the Landry series. Follow Ed as he moves and settles in hoping for a quiet life. The onset of animal slaughter sets his dream into tatters. Read this story
