Story of Amelia and Mannix. We have heart ache, anger and more in this story. What will happen when Mannix finds out his brother Reid is alive? Can they get past what their father did? Will Reid hold it against Mannix? What happens when Mannix meets Amelia? Can they fight what's going on? What will happen when Amelia's daughter meets him?.

this author writes cool short stories but she really needs help in proofreading Ages and timelines within the same chapter not being consistent For example Mannix discovered his brother was alive so he traveled for a month looking for him. But three sentences later says he only discovered the news a week prior. He's shocked when Jason says the Alpha is a woman and then tells Allara he heard a foundling married a female Alpha UGH In Book 1 it was said often that Reid was 8 when found. Now they're saying 10. The last book when Jason and Tammy's daughter's name went from Mae to Claire. In this book Rachel from Books 1 & 2 has suddenly become Emma
Annnnnndddddddddd let's not forget Reids actual introduction to the pack........

I enjoyed this one very much. Loved the characters and loved how Reid’s past was finally settled. Amelia and Lacey were very lucky to find Mannix and have a great life. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊
El amor siempre triunfa aunque encuentre obstáculos. El reencuentro entre hermanos y el conocer nueva personas. La recomiendo un 100%. (Flora F Alvarado)
This is book five of the Pack Loyalty series and the main characters are Mannix and Amelie. Mannix lost his parents when he was five in a house fire his own father set, to kill them all. Months before, his father, the alpha of the pack, had taken his older brother Reid who was just eight, hundreds of miles from their pack lands and left him I the wilderness in the middle of the winter and told him to make his own way home. For some twenty years, Mannix had been raised by the pack beta, Alfred, and thought his brother was dead. A day before he died, Alfred told Mannix that he thought his brother might actually be alive, due to rumours of an alpha sized shifter in a distant pack. Mannix had been acting alpha after Alfred’s death, but all he wanted now, was to find his brother. He left his beta’s in charge and drove for a week, asking each pack he came across, about Reid, until he finally found one with someone by that name. But Reid wasn’t the alpha, but the alpha’s mate! As soon as he actually sees Reid, he knows that this is his long lost brother and he can’t wait to get to know him better. Unfortunately, Reid only has bad memories of what happened to him, because of his insane father, and isn’t keen to go back to his original pack. His life is with his fated mate and alpha Allara and their young baby. He was found in the woods by a member of the pack and raised there, unable to even speak for months and close to death. He owes everything to this pack. Both Reid and Mannix have been affected by their father and his obvious insanity. Mannix refuses to pass on his father’s genes by marrying or having children and has even ordered his beta’s to put him down if he shows any signs of going crazy. His father ran the pack into the ground with his craziness and ruled with fear. It has taken two decades for Mannix to fix stuff his father left in ruins and to get the pack more organised and even a school for kids. But he has pushed so hard to get to Reid, and finding that Reid wanted him gone and was willing to sign over his alpha rights for their pack, leaves him suffering from an intense migraine. He would have driven away, but isn’t fit to, not even being able to see where he is walking, never mind anything else. Reid takes him to a neighbouring home, of widow Amelie, who is willing to put up a guest and earn some money. She lost her husband in a war with bear shifters and has been left with a daughter, Lacey who is eight. He wasn’t her fated mate, but was the love of her life. He may not be able to see Amelie, but he can smell her and she is the best thing he has ever smelled in his life! She has to touch him, to guide him to the spare room and gets an instant electric attraction to him, not knowing what that really is, but somehow knowing he is her fated mate! She wants to deny it, to keep her dead husband’s memories alive, but when her daughter takes to him immediately, something completely unheard of before with any male in the pack, even her grandfather, she knows it must be true. Finding her fated mate should have been something to celebrate, but this certainly doesn’t feel like it. Mannix is determined to leave asap and Reid wants him gone so that would be the end of it. Lacey is bereft and blames her mother for him leaving. Only Allara insists on Reid going back to his original pack lands to experience where he came from and for Amelie to go with him! Reid insists on getting the trip over with quickly and they have to drive through the night to get there, soon after Mannix did. He can’t ignore his fated mate now, but they have more to worry about as runs off, angry at her mom, into the woods, shortly before an attack. The attack certainly gives Mannix the chance to figure out if his pack, or the child of his fated mate, is the most important thing in life. He is badly injured and Amelie stays by his bed, realising that she can indeed love another, as she waits to see if he will survive. They are both realising that they can’t get away from their fated mate status to each other and that life can indeed be better with them, than without. A steamy fated mates standalone story, where the characters try to deny their fate for whatever reason, only to come together in the end. I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. Mannix was just a child when his father drove his older brother Reid away from their pack and left him in the wilderness to find his way home. He was presumed dead. In the same year, his father set their house on fire. Mannix was rescued by the pack's beta, but both his parents died. Twenty years later when that beta was on his deathbed, Mannix learned that there were rumors that his brother was alive. He spent a week searching before he found him. But the reunion was nothing like he expected it would be. He also met widow Amelie, who he sensed is his fated mate. But he believed himself cursed with his father's madness and doesn't want to risk hurting anyone. Amelie is strongly attracted to Mannix, but believed her late husband to have been her fated mate and was unsure of her connection to Mannix. A really enjoyable read. 4 stars.
Mannix lost is parents not long after his older brother disappeared. Now years later he learns that his brother Reid may be alive as the man that saved him is dying. He goes to find out the truth so he can move on with his pack. When he arrives its now the welcome he had hoped for. His brother wants nothing to do with him and is downright hateful to him. When he gets a bad migraine Amelie helps him while he is staying with her. Soon she realizes that he is her fated mate. She isn't sure that she is ready to have a mate again, so she tries to rush him off too. It takes Reid's wife and Alpha to convince him and Amelie to go see Mannix. Will she admit to him what he is to her? Can they find a way to be together?
This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Mannix has been searching for his brother he got wind that he was alive after being abandoned in the woods by his father when he was a little boy. He didn’t expect the cold reception he got when he finally was reunited with his brother. His brother, Reid, let’s him stay in his territory for the night at one of his pack members houses, Amelie. She is a widow and lost her mate and is raising Lacey on her own. Amelie knew there was some thing about Mannix as soon as she saw him but it felt like she was betraying her mate’s memory by being attracted to him. They part ways but Amelie can’t stop thinking about Mannix. Will they pursue a relationship as fated mates? Will Mannix screw it up believing he is cursed to make the same mistakes his father made?
When Mannix's father was pack Alpha, he drove Reid (Mannix's brother) out to the wildness and left him to find his own way back, but he never returned home. Not long after, his father set fire to the house killing himself and his wife. Mannix was saved from the fire but now feels cursed. Mannix finds out years later that Reid maybe alive from the now alpha on his death bed that saved him from the fire. In Mannix's search for Reid he meets Amelie, a widow and Lacey her daughter. Will Mannix believe Amelie is his fated mate and the curse ended? Loved this easy-to-read shifter story!

Mannix (H) is an Alpha wolf shifter who has gone in search of his previously-though dead brother, Reid. While searching for his brother, Mannix meets Amelie (h), a widowed wolf shifter, mother to Lacey. Mannix and Amelie are attracted to one another and the longer they're around one another, their fated mated bond grows stronger. Mannix continues to fight their bond and his feeling for Amelie and Lacey will be put to the test when their safety is threatened. Sweet romantic fated mates story in this enjoyable quick read!
Enjoy the wolf shifter aspect; not into widowed single parent romances, but I liked the connection between Mannix and Amelie. Very sweet! Alpha wolf shifter Mannix meets single mom, wolf shifter, Amelie, when he’s looking for his brother. Mannix thought his brother was dead; crazy family stuff, but is surprised to hear that his bro may still be alive. Mannix sets out to find his long lost bro, Reid; there’s lots of past hurts that these brothers are dealing with. There’s also a bit of action along with the drama of Mannix and Amelie trying to fight being fated mates. Interesting story.
Mannix and Amelie. The storyline wasn’t bad. The h in the story seemed to have an unlimited supply of tears. She had been married before and had a daughter from that marriage. Lacey. This was also the name of the old “girlfriend” of Noah in the previous book. I cannot believe another name couldn’t be given. But, I had noticed that there seemed to be a problem with continuity in the story. Names of characters changed several times and timelines seemed off at times. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.
Mannix had a traumatic upbringing. When he found out that the brother he thought was dead might be alive, he set out to find him. He never wanted a mate but Fate had something else in mind. It was a good read.

Even though this is book #5 in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone!! This book was cram-packed with suspense, drama, action and romance...mixed with shifter magic. It's exactly what I look for in a book!! I loved it and want to go back and read the others in the series!!.

This was a great read that I really enjoyed. Mannix has been looking for his brother and when he finds him, he might just find something or someone that will change his life. Another great read that everyone must one click.
I enjoyed this story as it made me laugh and entertained me. The typical fated mate story but with a side of entertainment. It was a quick read but enjoyed the characters and watching them be stupid a few times. Good addition to the series.
I really enjoyed this fated mates story, that comes with a twist - neither of the concerned parties want to be mated. Entertaining and well written with a dose of family angst and stroppy children. This is a quick but very good read.
