Property Jones (yes, that's her name) was left at small bookshop in England, Michael, who eventually becomes her "brother" puts her on the property shelf, as she does not know her name or who her parents are, or where she is from...….. Netty, Michael's mom accepts her as her "adopted" daughter, the name Property just sticks...…..
There is one MAJOR secret that Property doesn't share with Michael and Netty, a whooper of a secret since the live and own a bookshop.....
Michael enters a contest to win The Montgomery Book Emporium in London, no one in the family really thinks they might win, but it sure would be nice..... Maybe NOT so much.
I can see that it would appeal to young girls mainly, however, I must say the whole story was pretty much of a stretch for me.....
