"Perrin weaves a compelling story...a great cliffhanger tale of suspense." - New York Times bestselling author Heather Graham on We'll Never Tell
"One wild ride! Perrin is an author who belongs on your must read list."- Romance Reader at Heart
I received this book through Goodreads Giveaways for an honest review. I'm shocked that I haven't come across one of Kayla Perrin's books yet, but what an amazing novel to start with! This book had me hooked from the first page to the last, and I found myself reading a few pages whenever I had a few minutes. She did an awesome job of developing a twisted, unpredictable plot and creating a disturbingly psychopathic character in the form of Katrina. The mix of romance, action and psychological thriller made for an intense read and I can easily say I will be keeping an eye out for other books by Perrin from now on!
apparently this is the sequel to We’ll Never Tell & ehh compared to it i wasn’t really feeling this. the plot was overall interesting but the plot twist weren’t really twisty. i figured out most of them & the ones i didn’t weren’t shocking. Jade was annoying at times, just a solid 2 star. didn’t hate it but not the best
This bookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk had me on the edge of my seat! When I tell you it had my heart racing and had me wanting to cry because the way there was action after action. But I held it together and finished strong. I recommend everybody to read this book.
A fast paced thriller that I sped through in about 2 to 3 days. Solid 4 star read. I enjoyed the story and characters though the main character Jade did annoy me at some parts it wasn't enough for me to stop wanting to know what happened next. The villain in this story was a true psychopath who manipulated everyone around them.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, hated to put it down. Kayla Perrin did a fantastic job with the characters and an intriguing plot. It kept me on the edge of my seat.
3.5 ⭐️ rounding up. I enjoyed this read. Jade drove me a little crazy ignoring all the signs but overall I was invested in the story and read it pretty quickly.
Didn’t finish due to the book abruptly switching from third person to first person. I literally thought there was some sort of error and it was another book after chapter one.
⭐️4/5 this book was good! Very action packed, I feel like it could’ve been a bit shorter. A lot of unrealistic moments and the main character was very annoying, but it was cool read.
This was book was so good and I honestly didn’t expect it to be. Jade is a very naive young woman and she’s in for a ride! I love a jaw dropping book and this one did it for me. If you like true crime stories, you’ll love this book.
Due to the prologue, you know who’s the villain, yet you want to who,e story to unveil. It’s a quick read (read it in 9 hours, even cooked and ate dinner) that keeps you turning the page.
