On July 3, 2019, our father lost his earthly battle to a heart condition. Leading up to that specific day, he was in the process of sharing with the world his message of The Real Overcoming Life’s Personal and Professional Challenges. The only problem was, the book was not complete.
My name is Justin Robichaux and I have the honor and privilege to call Tony Robichaux my dad, coach, mentor and friend. I have had the unique perspective to pull from my father’s lifework to complete his story and journey of the “real game.”
My father had a saying of “Work While You Wait.” This message applies to every journey we initiate by becoming the best version of ourselves. His goal was to lead, motivate, impact and inspire through the game of baseball. However, baseball was just a small part of the journey.
Our dad loved to teach and share his message with the world; I believe God has blessed and prepared our lives with the opportunity to take his message and move it forward. If you’re reading this, it is not by accident—for there are no coincidences. Our challenge to you is to find where you are in your journey around the bases before you are called home.
