Seriously, it hurts. Pilling off layer after layer of well concealed truth, covered with all the secrets, lies and deception. Especially when it comes from people who shield us from it, are those who we trust and love. That's the worst kind of betrayal. Regardless if you are ready to find out the truth… like Emilia…
Truth Hurts is the 2nd book in the Secrets and Revelations Series. Lukas and Emilia’s story. Their relationship is not built on steady ground. Based on lies and deception, there is so much insecurities, doubt and hesitation next to undeniable love, possessiveness, jealousy. When secrets one by one come to light, Emilia has to decide who she can trust and to what extent, including a new ‘ally’. And the stakes are more than she ever suspected…
Truth Hurts is another phenomenal book from Selina Marie. Beautifully written, again, engrossing read from 1st pages, fast paced, intense, emotional rollercoaster. Perfect mix of dark mafia, angst, suspenseful romance, with such a dirty talk and steamy & sexy scenes to complete. And again, killer cliffhanger… I cannot wait for the next book, Nate and Mel’s turn now…

I completely devoured this book! And I mean in one night.
This was another fantastic read by Selina, full of steam, action, suspense and lots of twists.
I’m sad that this is Emilia and Lukas conclusion, I adore them 😍 their story had me hooked from the first chapter of book 1 (The Secrets We Keep) is was toxic at times, definitely full of passion and love.
Just when I thought I knew where the story was going bam! Another plot twist I didn’t see coming.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series, yes it ended on a cliffhanger! The waiting game commences 🤣
