This is a story that introduces kangaroos and all of the interesting things about them! It focuses on Joey, a baby kangaroo. It describes everything they eat, how they bathe, travel and much more! It is a great book for children interested in animals or Australia.
I thought this book would be great for introducing kangaroos and Australia to children. I think it described kangaroos well and I even learned a few things from the book.
This could be used in a classroom for a unit about Australia. It accurately describes kangaroos in a way children would understand. In a therapy clinic, this could be used for reading comprehension. The clinician could ask the client questions about the book after they are done reading.
