The book can’t be over already! I refuse to believe it. No! No, no, no, no, no, no! I need more Glimmerspell and I need it NOW! This story kept me laughing, and it kept me guessing. I was lucky enough to pick up on the key clue that gave away the murderer’s identity, but I still spent the rest of the book second-guessing myself. There’s lots of messing around with the time continuum that could mean all kinds of problems to come. I’m dying to know what happens next.

eeeh it's okay it just seems the same as the last one with just a few changes here and there. I can't stress enough though that the robotic AI narration just takes away from it. I did like how it ended and a big decision that the MMC made not to add spoilers. This series i think is a little TOO "cozy" for me. There are a few moments that made me chuckle a little but it is not as good as some of the others series this author has. There is one more in this series I'm committed at this point.

Mistletoe in Glimmerspell is the third book in the Hot Flash Homicides series. Billie Buttonwood’s life has been turned up side down. She walked in on her husband with another women half their age and come to find out she is pregnant and he proposed to her and she. She had spent the last nineteen years with Harold and he has never made her feel as though she matter, and now that he has stepped out on there marriage Billie has the chance to make a change. She talked to her niece in Glimmerspell and has a place to live and a job. Now that she has settled she is making friends and loving her job, just not her hot flashes and the side effects she has after the big ones, time traveling.
Being a time traveler has caused her to leave and pop in with out much warning and she is trying to keep from outing her newly acquired skill. It has come in handy to being able to help her get a extra clue or two to help solve the murder or unsolved case. But it didn’t help get her out of being the made of honor inn her exe’s wedding at the town celebration. During the town’s festivities Billie stumbles over a body. In her search for clues she finds her self traveling to another time and accidentally had a tag along on her time journey. Now she had a bigger problem on her hands.
This book has a lot going on for Billie. Elliot and Billie are getting closer, solving a murder and now trying to figure out how to deal with the extra traveler she had join her unexpectedly. How will she deal with everything going on ?

So much fun!!

I've read all of Addison Moore's Murder in the Mix series and the Meow for Murder series, but I hadn't been able to start this one yet. Omg I was totally missing out. First, the author gave me an audible copy of the 1st book in this series, so like a madman(madwoman?) I listened to it super quick, then read book 2 and immediately started this one. Omg I think this is my favorite of the 3... although I haven't yet been able to start Country Cottage Murders yet.

So in this book starts after Billie has discovered Elliot dark secret... and the towns for that matter.... but nearly a year has passed between books. And she and Elliot have still yet to take it further??? And once again she finds herself finding a dead body which she has to solve yet again! Love it. This time her time traveling takes her back to Elliot's old stomping grounds... back in the 17th century. And she accidentally brings back Elliots daughter... and his wife! 😬

Love this series.... mostly because I'm in my 40s and can completely understand. Lol. This book has a couple of "Oh my!" moments that I love... and the ending?? Le sigh... I love Billie and Elliot together, although I do have to wonder if she'll take the vampire plunge.

I recieved an ARC for my honest review.

Christmas in Glimmerspell is simply magical. Of course, it should be as it is a nice little paranormal town. It seems that everyone is at the local Christmas party celebrating the reopening of the renovated Historical Society. Billie has somehow managed to end up there but as the maid-of-honor at her ex's wedding! Prior to moving here, Billie was just a normal mom, working in the family store and raising a teenage daughter. Now, she's working at the Haunted Book Barn for her niece and had an accident there that awakened her hidden ability to travel through time and relive recent events. After the wedding Billie meets up with Elliot. She just wants to have a good time but has to go outside to do an errand and then finds a body in the snow! Who was killed and why? Billie just wants to figure out who the murderer is so that she can have a nice holiday celebrating with her family and Elliot. Things take a twisty turn and it looks like she'll be wishing for a happy holiday in vain...

Oh dear, so much is going on in this book that will only be revealed in the 4th a final book of this series…that comes out sometime in Summer…of NEXT YEAR! Yup, my friends we have to wait several months to find out what fresh hell Iona will give to Glimmerspell, Elliot, and Billie. Ugh, what has she done?! Maybe Billie can just go back in time to right before Iona makes such a huge decision and pull her out of an eternal future.

And Dextra, what is Elliot going to do having two children the same age? The daughter is already peeved at her dad and her rebellion will only turn worse if Billie doesn’t return her to where she belonged.

What a mess! Billie HAS GOT TO get that heat under control! She can’t be vanishing into thin air and then reappearing in a blink!

The 4th and final book in this series is Midnight in Glimmerspell…release date Summer 2022.
Since I can’t review the final book, I have chosen a new author’s paranormal book -

I always love Billie Buttonwood, she's a fun character and you never know the trouble she is going to get into. We get to see some characters from the Murder in the Mix series, which was fun. It was fun to see Billie travel back in time to meet people that Eliot mentions, however could this change history? What would happen if it does, how does the future potentially change? I love how easily she has fit into Glimmerspell and everyone has made her feel welcome. I find it odd that her ex-husband's new wife wants her involved in so many things in their life and their baby. I think the most fun is when Billie runs into her other selves in the times she time-jumps to and she yells at herself. I had a good time reading this book and laughed a lot, great read!

Billie Buttonwood is a sassy 40 something year old woman with an ax to grind. After her long time husband gets caught cheating she packs up herself and their 16 year old daughter and moves to a magical little town called Glimmerspell. It is rumored to be inhabited by all kinds of fae and much to Billie's surprise, the romous are TRUE! In this book Billie is at her ex husband's wedding at a haunted manor hosted by the owners descendent Gasper Grimshaw. It seems Gasper has of tension with several different people at the party and unfortunately one of his encounters ends in his death. Since Billie is the one to find his body she feels as though she needs to help find the killer. Luckily between her being able to see and talk to ghosts and occasionally do litte time travel and not to mention her hot detective/vampire boyfriend she should be able to crack the case!

Wow! I don't know how Addison Moore does it, but she's done it again! I think she can't possibly top what she has already written, but she does it over and over. Billie Buttonwood is now living her best life-- the man of her dreams beside her, raising a teenage daughter, and stumbling across a body. Okay, so that's not part of the best life. Murder, mayhem, time travel, and making new friends.... She takes the future to the past and brings the past to the future. She makes a brief pit stop on a luxury cruise liner from the past. Will she be able to help Elliot, the lead homicide detective, catch a killer? With a few zany characters to help her out (awesome crossover of THREE different series) and some carefree residents of Glimmerspell, Billie just might be able to uncover a killer before she winds up as another victim!

There's a lot happening in this book. Grimshaw Manor has reopened and there is a wedding and the Historical Society is having a party on the same night. The town, Glimmerspell, is full of all types of mythical creatures and you'll meet a lot of them in this book. Billie Buttonwood tells the story. She time travels at inopportune times and can't necessarily control when and where she's going. She also discovers the body of the murder victim. She knows there are a lot of people who weren't happy with the victim, but was the murderer at the party? Billie and her boyfriend work together to find the murderer, while dealing with all sorts of interesting interactions with multiple types of individuals.

There are a lot of characters in this book, who were introduced in earlier books in the series. You may want to read the earlier books first, but it isn't necessary to read and enjoy this book. There are some references to sex, but no acts. I think this book can be read by young adults and up.

A laugh out loud Paranormal Women’s Fiction Novel!!!

Mistletoe in Glimmerspell is the third book in Hot Flash Homicides Series. It's a first book that I read in this series and I really enjoyed it.

This is a fun, engaging, fast-paced paranormal cozy mystery with good, unique, unpredictable story line, it's full of humor, action, paranormal and romance with delightful quirky characters; the plot is filled with twists and turns that keeps me entertained from beginning to end. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

So I will be the outlier on this book and quite frankly I find that baffling. Equally baffling is that this is part of a series. Really is there someone who wants to read more of this?? If it were not for the menopause references this book feels like it was written by a group of middle school girls. There is little to no plot and the characters lack any dimension. Pretty much the entire book is filled with attempts to come up with cutesy names for sex. None of which are clever or funny. And I could not stand all of the nicknames-again none of which were funny. The only positive note was that it was thankfully brief and free on kindle unlimited.

Addison Moore's gift for writing quirky, fun and interesting stories that keep you engaged and interested from beginning to end is showcased in this fabulous book. The characters are easy to love and relatable. The settings are inticate and detailed and the plot is nicely paced. The whole story is well written and I always enjoy reading her book. This is no exception. Well done to the author on another fabulous story. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Another great book by Moore! I adore this whole series — anything by Moore really. Always well-written, well-paced, likeable and complex characters, plus a great mystery. Every time I think it can’t get better, Moore proves us wrong. Can’t wait for the next book!

Holy hot Christmas!

You have the holiday season in full swing with the punch, gingerbread cookies, and a murder! Also plucking a couple of people out of the 17th century by accident! How much more jolly can the season be! Much fun and laughter under the mistletoe along with a little crime solving. Next case!!!!

Christmas

Billie and the crew are having a wonderful Christmas and trying to solve another mystery. Teddy is having the time of her life with her friends and sunny is just being sunny. Another mystery another death and more excitement at the end of the book something no one thought would happen.

Boring repeat

Addison Moore seems to repeat the same story with different details over and over, in all of her series. Her characters are even similar between books. I like her concepts for a couple books but not every single one.

Spectacular work

The time traveling and people involved keeps getting crazier and crazier. I can't believe how many folks Billie can take with her. When I read this series I can imagine how the scenery is, all the way down to the snow falling down!!

Glimmerspell and the 17th Century

Billie travels back to the ballroom in the 17th century and when she returns she has Elliott's wife and daughter as well as a footman. All are amazed and enchanted by modern life. This is a particularly charming series.

One would think attending your ex-husband's wedding would not be funny but it was. I'm actually beginning to find redeemable qualities in the new bride. Time travel, which I am normally not a fan of, continues and so does mishap and murder. Billie seems to be a magnet for finding bodies.

refreshingly less quasi-promiscuous posturing

An enchanting glimpse into Elliott’s storied past, as a new present-day threat emerges by the final chapter.
