Loved You Once
Loved You Once (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #1) was a deliciously swoon worthy, refreshing, sweet and heartwarming second chance romance that I absolutely needed in my life right now. This charming and delightful book will pull you in deep and keep you blissfully entertained until the beautiful end.
Hayes is the first Aldridge brother to start off this series and what a perfect way to do so as Claudia Burgoa made it very easy to fall in love with him and Blaire. I couldn’t get enough of Hayes, the oh so sexy doctor and I envied Blaire with her down to earth persona, selfless, realistic and admirable character. Their story focuses on finding hope and dealing with the past in order to move on. Loved You Once’s plot was meaningful, the storyline flowed smoothly and was filled with a lot depth which was greatly appreciated considering the book also included all of the Aldridge brothers. And all that Aldridge hotness coupled with their alpha personalities was definitely a force to be reckoned with. I’m intrigued by the brothers and highly anticipating reading their books.
I love it when a book makes me smile big and makes me feel good inside and Loved You Once exceeded my expectations. The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers is my new favorite series and I can’t wait to read the next book, A Moment Like You.
A Moment Like You
Claudia Burgoa has done the impossible and made me fall madly in love with Henry Aldridge. If you read Loved You Once (Hayes and Blaire’s Book), then you know that Henry came across as the epitome of tall, dark and salty. And now, he owns my heart!! A Moment Like You (The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers #2) is an outstanding and unforgettable addition to this series. This beautifully crafted contemporary romance will capture your heart and have you swooning from the beginning to the wonderful end.
Henry and Sophia’s story is touching, sexy, entertaining and really set my heart on fire. These characters were filled with a great amount of depth, their background gave so much more to the development of the storyline which is solid and a consistent page turner. Their chemistry is real and their feelings are true. And their clever and witty banter (I love it when Sophia puts Henry in his place) is awesome and when they finally give in to their attraction, it’s oh so hot and sexy!!
A Moment Like This is romantic perfection and everything I could’ve hoped for and more. Bring on the next Aldridge brother’s book!!
Defying Our Forever
Defying Our Forever is everything and I do mean EVERYTHING that a romance should be. Claudia Burgoa has truly outdone herself with The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series and so far, Defying Our Forever is without a doubt, the BEST one. She delivers an emotionally intense romance that utterly consumed me.
From beginning to end, Pierce and Leyla’s second chance romance absolutely blew me away. They’re realistic characters with faults and cracks in their souls who will have you clinging to their story. Both of them have very difficult pasts that contribute a lot to how they behave in their relationship. And trust me, there were times when I wanted to punch Pierce in the face as he made me so angry! And Leyla is definitely no wallflower with her sassy attitude and I like that she stood up to him.
Defying Our Forever definitely has its share of angst, at times it made my heart sore and my soul ache. However, the entire book isn’t completely angsty as there are some great laugh out loud, entertaining, heartfelt and endearing moments. And although they go through good and bad times, the one thing that never dies is their need and desire for each other. Their chemistry is electrifying and they’re 100% on point in the bedroom!
Pierce and Leyla are broken characters who find healing in each other and the journey to the rekindling of their love and relationship is absolutely beautiful. This book is a perfect balance of emotion, romance, heartbreak and hope. Defying Our Forever’s storyline is thoughtful, consistent, engaging and very well written. It will definitely make you believe in second chance romances and the power love.

🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧
Before I give you my review on these three audiobooks, I’d like to say that sometimes, although rare, listening to a story after reading it, or vice versa, can give you a different perspective of the story and/or experience. This is one of those times for me.
I read these three stories when they were released in 2020. None of the points that affected me now, about the stories, really *hit me* at that time. I have no clue why, but like I said, this sometimes happens to me when I listen to a story after I read it. I think that for me, my brain just picks up on a lot more of a story when it’s an audiobook. *shrug* My brain is weird, what can I tell ya LOL!
Loved You Once: Even though the book needed the space it took to set the stage for the series, it also took too much away from the romance. That brings me to the point that there really was no romance build and although I understand why Claudia picked Hayes to be the brother to start the series, the story felt superficial because their past was skimmed over and only told to us in a few moments in time.
This wasn’t something that stuck with me when I read this story back in 2020 but it really messed with my listening experience. Everything else about this story was done really well and as I mentioned, it set the stage for what’s to come and began the *arc* outside the individual brother’s journeys to HEA. That needed to happen, I just wished I’d experienced some of Haynes and Blaire *before* present day.
A Moment Like You: I felt just as good today listening to this story as I did back in 2020. I will say that my brain kept thinking “How is Sophia not figuring out Henry’s endgame or called him out on all his extravagance yet ….?” (it was lol out for me and I think it added to the giddiness of this entire story)
Defying Our Forever: This is the story that really started focusing more on the “couples’ journey” and I’m super stoked it did because they obviously needed it. However, full stop on Pierce’s circumstance he decided to not share with Layla before they married. I don’t even know why it was even part of the narrative. In my head, if I erased all of that, the story had plenty more circumstances that would have driven them to the place they found themselves at. I’m not saying I didn’t feel this way when I read it and that I wasn’t still rooting for them today when I listened to their story, but it just wasn’t necessary for the out come of the story, and it really put Pierce in a bad place in my head this time around and I didn’t like that one bit!
Final note, and I cannot say this enough, these stories all build on each other. Each one adds a layer to the story of the *family* and they really HAVE to be read from the beginning or you are missing out on a huge part of the Aldridge men’s lives. I don’t recommend you skip a single one and I highly recommend you read/listen to them all in order.

This is a fantastic collection of the first three books of the Baker’s Creek Billionaire series! I listened to the audiobook edition and even if you have read these before, it is a great way to revisit the Aldridge brothers and, if you are new to the series, a great to meet them. Each book features a different brother but they do crossover into each other’s books, so I think it is best to enjoy them in the order written. However, each story stands on its own, and everything you need to know about the featured characters is in the descriptive details. I loved each book in the series, starting with “Loved You Once” Hayes Benjamin Aldridge and Blaire’s story, a second chance romance for the doctor and his first love. “A Moment Like You” is up next, Henry Aldridge and Sophia’s story, a grumpy bossy billionaire and his personal assistant, enemies to lovers romance. The third book is “Defying Our Forever”, Pierce Aldridge and Leyla Gibbs’ story, this too is a second chance romance yet so much more as we get the back story of both characters and their relationship. Claudia Burgoa is a gifted author and a master storyteller, she has created something very special in Baker’s Creek and not just the town but with the Aldridge boys. Their father, William Tower Aldridge, set this plan to bring his boys together to create a family he never could have and maybe secretly wanted. Possibly it was his way of redeeming himself for his own peace of mind. I only know I am looking forward to listening to the rest of the series and learning more about the Aldridge brothers and their special someones. Each book in this series is just as entertaining as the next and a definite treat to your heart and your ears, since Claudia Burgoa always picks the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Thank you for these amazing novels and emotional rollercoaster ride.

They do so with a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that was a perfect fit for their character’s persona, and were believable in every role they played. Connor Crais and Stella Hunter played Hayes and Blaire with perfection just as Aaron Shedlock and Stacy Gonzalez did for Henry and Sophia and Teddy Hamilton and Kelsey Navarro did for Pierce and Leyla. All were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story and handled the witty dialogue with ease. You could feel how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. These narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to, their narration enhanced these stories to another level. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

What a great start to The Baker’s Creek Billionaire Brothers series! These Aldridge brothers; Henry, Hayes, Pierce, Mills, Carter, Vance, and Beacon, will drive you crazy and make you swoon all at once! They have been apart for longer than they have been together. Now with the ruthless stipulations in their late fathers will, they are forced to give up their lives and move in together, in Baker's Creek, for eighteen month's. Blaire Wilson, has also been summoned as Carter's widow. She is nervous to see these men again after their last heartbreaking encounter. Hayes and Blaire were lovers in college, making plans for their future when Hayes broke her heart and moved away to concentrate on his career as a doctor. He has always regretted leaving her and never forgotten her and the deep love they shared. But they were young and he was afraid he was too much like his absentee father. When he sees Blaire again, he is determined to prove he is a better man, and win her trust and love. But he also wants the trust and love of his brothers. I loved the slow burn romance between Hayes and Blaire as they learned who they each were again, earning their admiration, trust, and love. There is alot going on setting up this series and the background of everyone's lives. The men have each felt betrayed by their father, and each other. They are all closed off in some way, feeling vulnerable, and cautious on giving up their successful lives only to be left behind, again, by the family they have always yearned for. Each brother is unique, charismatic, and sexy. I loved how they all had that one person between them that they deferred to, not wanting to show too much before the other. I am really excited to get to know them all more with each book. I loved Henry's assistant, Sophia, who was fun, and sassy, and was the magician that kept everything running smoothly, I can't wait for more about her. I also loved the quirky towns folk and their affinity for social media! This is going to be a hilarious, moving and sizzling series that you don't want to miss!

I am falling so hard for these sexy Aldridge brothers and The Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series! I absolutely love Henry and Sophia's hilarious, moving and sizzling, enemies to lovers romance! Sophia has been Henry's assistant for three years and knows his company better than he does. He drives her crazy with his demands but she needs this job to take care of her parents. Now he is making her move to Baker's Creek to be close to him during the strict conditions of his father's will. She doesn't understand why he wants her there, and why he is going to great lengths to please her while being so infuriating at the same time. Henry grew up privileged but without any kind of love. He never had a healthy role model so he struggles to show his feelings for Sophia, and his brothers. He never realized what he needed until Sophia came into his life and then being forced to live with the brothers he never really knew. He had been so closed off and is now slowly learning how to let others in. But just as Henry and Sophia are finding their way to each other, his grandfathers outdated contracts threaten to break them apart before they get started. Henry is so swoony beneath his hard shell, he is so kind, and generous, and my heart broke as he showed his vulnerable side that just wanting to be loved. Sophia is so fun, and sassy, incredibly smart, and a magician at keeping everything running smoothly. She and Henry are so good together, their slow burn, sexual tension was off the charts as they learned to truly trust each other. All the brothers are unique in their own way and it is so much fun getting to know them better, watching how they forge brotherly bonds, and their sibling banter is hilarious! There are more secrets that are coming their way and I can't wait to find out more about these sexy Aldridge men and the incredible women who challenge and love them!

I have fallen so hard for these sexy Aldridge brothers and The Baker's Creek Billionaire Brothers series! The more I learn about these broken billionaires, the deeper I care for them and cheer for their HEA! This is about Pierce Aldridge, and Leyla Gibbs and their magical fairytale second chance romance. But as we know, fairytales are not easy journeys at times. Pierce is a broken, moody lawyer until he meets the beautiful, kind, caring veterinarian. He loves that she tries to save all the animals and he gets swept up in her light, and love. They have a whirlwind, passionate romance and soon get married. But his mother and cousin's are darkness, and try to pull him back and away from the light. They almost succeed, until Pierce is forced to move away to live with his brothers for eighteen months. He forgot that the Aldridge men are cursed, and can never have love and a family. He has almost destroyed his relationship with Leyla, and tries to protect her by convincing her to not go with him. But Leyla has demons of her own, making it hard for her to let someone in. Even though Pierce has broken her heart, he is a part of her and she wants to make sure he is protected. What she finds in Baker's Creek is something neither of them ever dreamed was possible. I was so captivated by Pierce and Leyla's second chance romance! How they went from friends, to lovers, to enemies and started all over again, only doing it right the second time around. Leyla was so sassy, a bit devious, but so kind and loving. She was so perfect for Pierce helping him see that he deserved to be loved. Pierce was moody, and callous at times but underneath that hard exterior is a kind and thoughtful man who just wants to be loved unconditionally. I loved their journey from their difficult pasts, to learning to forgive, trust, and build a forever love together. Burgoa is weaving a beautiful tale about these brothers and their fascinating stories that bring them together to connect, heal and find friendship and family. It made me laugh out loud at times, cry, and swoon. I love all the brothers who are unique in their own way. It is so much fun getting to know them better, watching how they forge brotherly bonds, and their sibling banter is hilarious! They must deal with their personal emotional baggage, learn how to trust their brothers and learn how to love themselves and each other. The women in their lives are strong, smart, patient and willing to help the one's they fall in love with how to navigate through this time in Baker's Creek. There's still 3 brothers who have been part of this journey so far. Hopefully they too can find their Happy Ever Afters. No cheating or cliffhangers, but I know I'd like to know how the rest of the 18 months plan out for everyone. Enjoy 🤓

Due to stipulations in their late fathers will these boys have been brought together and forced to live with each other in Bakers Creek for 18 months. Not such an easy feat since they barely know each other.
What ensues is hijinx, drama, action and bonding between these brothers and their significant others.

Great series starter
I love that each story so far is different , and while cliche in a way, the characters are great. You can’t help but laugh at the antics and so devious. Claudia really makes you think about what is going to happen and you just can’t help but want to see what does happen by reading the next book. I downloaded book 1 free but loved what I read and I bought the book 1-3 set (well worth it), definitely going to buy the rest of the set if they are this good.

Engaging stories with interesting characters and premise. I really liked the first and second ones. The third one was interesting because it went back into the past in a way the other two hadn't. So you knew what had happened in the present if you read the first two and then I spent a lot of time wondering when we were going to get to the present. I wasn't quite sure I liked the structure. I understood why, but it was such a departure from the other two stories that it took me by surprise.

so interesting.
I loved this three book set of stories. You saw things from three different brothers’ prospectives. It was an interesting way to deal with the death of a Father, with each of the brothers having another Mother. Their Ultra wealthy Father’s will makes for a fun, yet difficult time for the sons. I cannot wait to read 5he next one in the series.

Divine!! This is the first three books in this wonderful series by Claudia who is a wonderful author. This series is so addictive. It’s funny, emotional and will leave you wanting more! I read these books individually and I loved them all.

What a fantastic boxset.
I absolutely loved every one of the Aldridge brothers stories and what their father William was forcing on them.
Strong, broody, at times stubborn men that find their happy ending and an extended family.
Enjoyed the narration as well.

Good series
The last book was repetitive but I enjoyed it anyhow. Would have liked book 3 to have more story not revealed in 1 and 2.

This was a wonderful collection of the first three books in the Baker's Creek series. Loved You Once, A Moment Like You and Defying Our Forever.
Loved You Once is about Hayes Aldrige and Blaire. Of course all of the 7 Aldrige brothers are in there. It's about second chances and full of laughs, tears, love and friendship. There's crazy chaos with a bunch hot alpha males. Definitely some steam thrown in there for sure.
A Moment Like You is about Henry and his assistant Sophia. This is an enemies-to-lovers that will have you laughing, crying and loving all the Aldriges and the transformations that occur. More steam and man is it hot!
Defying Our Forever is Pierce and Layla's story. This is a labeled as a romantic comedy but personally I see it as a second chance as well. Two broken people who came together and try to live beyond their pasts. So much angst, heartbreak, secrets, love, laughter, and so much more.
I am so invested in this family. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Fantastic collection you don't want to miss.

This is a quick review just to show how much I adore this collection and all of the characters in it. Claudia definitely has a way with hitting all of my emotions and making me fall hard for the characters she creates. This collection is one of my favorites. I love these brothers. Each one rings a different quality and different story with them and I enjoyed reading about each one. I would absolutely love to continue reading in this world Claudia created and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!
