Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
Mariah was running away from her previous life to give a better one for her daughter and herself when she gets into a horrible accident near the small town of Mason Creek. Miller is still somewhat new to Mason Creek and a doctor when he crosses paths with Mariah.
Mariah and Miller have an instant attraction towards each other and there is definitely chemistry between the two of them. I loved seeing them connect and form a relationship. I also loved to see relationship form a bond with Claire.
I love how the town of Mason Creek so quickly rallied around Mariah and her daughter, Claire. They instantly took them in and helped them without any expectations.
If you’re looking for a small town, single mom romance this is one to read.
Dr Miller Campbell is a renowned bachelor. He came to Mason Creek to help out a friend and fell in love with the Town and the people and decided to stay. One night he got called out to an accident and that's where he meets Mariah😊 Instantly infatuated ❤
Mariah Abercrombie is trying to get a new start to life and also getting away from an abusive ex when she gets into an accident. Couldn't have happened in a better place. This is where she meets the people of Mason Creek. And most importantly Dr Miller Campbell🥰
This is a slow burn romance, but is also on the low angst side. I kind of expected a bit more suspense due to the abusive ex. But all in all it was a good read and a good addition to the Mason Creek Series😊❤
Spoilers… I don’t even know where to begin. I kept setting this book aside, coming back to it, forcing myself to keep going. I kept hoping it would redeem itself. But, no. It was just all wrong. There didn’t seem to be any real spark between the main characters. All the side characters were just frustrating. The whole storyline was one mishap after another. The stolen gems, the reunion with the parents, the quirky friend…none of it worked. Only gave 2 stars because it included previous characters from the series.
I thought Miles' and Jessie's story was bad, this one is awful. With a poor storyline that tried to fit too much in during a short amount of time, I had to skip several parts of this book. I enjoy this series as a light read each night, but this is just bad.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Mariah and Miller’s story. He is a doctor and she was in an accident. She is struggling and he can see it only she will not let him help. She has a lot of secrets. She is running from her past and knows it is only a matter of time before it catches her. When he uncovers her secrets will it have him walking away or helping her and protecting her? When her past finally catches up to her will she be on her own or will she have a whole pile of people willing to help out?
This was a good story in the Mason Creek series, and I enjoyed getting to know Mariah and her daughter, Claire and also the new doc in town, Miller. But it's a bit heavier than I expected in this series.
This is a story about three people: - Miller is the new doctor in town - Mariah is on the run with her two-year-old daughter Claire when she has an accident and ends up in bad shape in the hospital. - Claire is two and her mom wants to protect her from an abusive dad and boyfriend.
Mariah is on the run to try and save her daughter, Claire. When she has an accident and ends up in the hospital. The town of Mason Creek helps her out and literally saves her. She also meets Miller; a bachelor doctor and they form a romantic relationship.
This is their story from the day they meet to their happily ever after and it was an extremely bumpy road. They both are estranged from their parents. Mariah has a crazy sister, and ex and I enjoyed watching Miller stand by her side as they face it all together.
This was a heartwarming story about love, second chances, family, friendship and happily ever after. It is a story filled with drama but not of the relationship type. I loved that Mariah and Miller are so supportive of each other as they learn how to navigate life and the surprises along the way.
I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another wonderful addition to the Mason Creek Series . Perfect stranger by A.M . HARGROVE is the 17th installment in what has become one of my go to series . I have to say I just absolutely adored every single moment of Miller and Mariah’s journey . Two characters that you can’t help but fall in love with . Mariah is a single mom who is on the run with her little girl, doing everything she can to get away from her abusive ex .while on the road driving she hits a patch of ice and ends up in a horrible car accident near the small town of Mason Creek .Miller comes into her life when she least expects it . He’s a doctor is has recently moved to Mason Creek to run a medical practice with his friend. The first time they cross paths is when she shows up at the accident scene .what neither realizes is that their lives are going to change forever . From the moment they meet you can literally feel the the sexual tension between them , the attraction and the chemistry they share is undeniable and off the charts hot .Miller finds himself regularly checking up on Mariah while she’s laid up and healing . The more time they spend together feelings that neither expected start to develop . Miller can tell there is something she is keeping from him , Can he convince Mariah she can trust him ? Do they have a chance at a future together. a few seconds
Welcome back to Mason Creek. This is a charming town where everyone is helpful and sometimes, once you visit, you chose to settle there.
Such is the case for confirmed bachelor, Dr. Miller Campbell. Though the ladies have been throwing themselves at him, he's just not interested in anything long term. He's brought some personal baggage with him that makes him just not want to settle down!
One day there is a terrible accident and the patient Mariah Abercrombie and her daughter wind up at the local hospital. Mariah is distraught and is hiding something, but no one wants to push her, they just want her recovery .Of course to town rallies to help her out and take care of her daughter, while she's in the hospital.
I would call this an insta-like/insta-attraction story. Miller and Mariah just can't seem to fight their feelings and they both seem to have har special puzzle piece to complete the other person. Yes they can manage fine on their own, but at this point they really don't want to.
It's a really sweet, feel good story with great and sometimes hilarious side characters. Just what we need, in these turbulent times.
I swear I could talk about Mason Creek 24/7 as I love that place & wish it was a place I could move to. Perfect Stranger is another perfect addition to this series that I loved so much & couldn't get enough of it. Miller is a doctor who moved to Mason Creek to run a medical practice with his close friend. He's not one who ever wanted a relationship since he grew up with feuding parents so he has some hangups of course but he never saw Mariah coming. She's on the run from her past, and ends up in a serious car accident that he gets called to. Now she's stuck in the hospital, and has no answer as to who could take care of her tiny human. The luckiest thing that happened to her was landing in this small town because the people surround her to help her with anything she needs, to the point when she's able to go home, she ends up staying with Miller because she needs help. They feel a connection but it's not acted on for a cool minute but once it is, super hot sext times are up next. Unfortunately, her past isn't about to stay in the past so danger is coming. This was a great story with heat, twists, love, small town charm, and the supporting cast only rounded it out perfectly! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Mariah was running from her abusive boyfriend and looking for a better life for her and her daughter, when they were in a car wreck in the middle of the night and rushed to Mason Creek hospital. Miller was the doctor on call when she was rushed in and then headed to surgery. Once out of surgery all Mariah could think of was were her daughter was and if she was safe, which she was. All Mariah could think about was hoping her ex wouldn’t fine them and wondering how she was going to repay everyone in town for their kindness to her and her daughter. Miller was starting to catch feelings for this single mom once she was settled in to his house after she got out of the hospital and rehab no stairs so it was perfect. Things are going great then they all find out things about her ex that she didn’t even know and has the whole town and state on the look out for this criminal. Will Mariah be able too keep herself and her daughter safe and not have her ex find them or will he be able to find them and get what he wants. This book was so good and had a few twist and turns I didn’t we coming.
Perfect Strangers was another perfect read in the Mason Creek Series! Miller is the new doctor in town, he is now business partners with his best friend and couldn’t be happier. Mariah is a single mother trying to get away from a unpleasant relationship. Some people would say crashing your car in a strange town, having no one to help you with your toddler and trying to recover from said accident is a bad thing. When all that happens in Mason Creek you are extremely lucky, because they will do whatever they can to help you and your daughter. This was an amazingly adorable quick read! Miller and Mariah had great chemistry and he was so sweet with her and her daughter. Add in the small town gossip, crazy friends, meddling parents and a dysfunctional baby daddy and we have a extremely entertaining story. I loved How much was going on in this book but it all came together smoothly. I have truly enjoyed reading this series and this book was no exception. I’m already looking forward to the next book.
Miller and Mariah are another dream team in this series. They are so perfect for each other that I swooned more than once. Perfect Stranger is just the right mix of romantic comedy and crime thriller. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and the romance part made me want to hug someone because these characters made me feel all warm and fuzzy with their caring, warm, heartfelt and down to earth nature. But it wouldn't be a book by Ms. Hargrove if it was solely about suspense and romance. Even the first chapter had me laughing out loud, because there's just no dry eye in the house when a precocious child asks curious questions. But when said child teams up with a force of nature named LilHil, one should take a potty break just in case, lol! I definitely roared with laughter. Perfect Stranger is a real page-turner that I highly recommend.
Mason Creek has a new doctor. Doctor Miller Campbell, and he’s just met his soul mate, he doesn’t realise it yet though, but when he attends a road traffic accident on the outskirts of town, his life is going to change forever. Mariah Abercrombie is on the run from an abusive relationship, she took her daughter and left her life as she knew it behind, only to find herself stuck in Mason Creek with a busted leg. It turns out that the people of Mason Creek protect what’s theirs, and they’ve adopted Mariah and her adorable daughter, so no one’s going to mess with her. She just needs to trust in that, and also trust in her handsome sexy saviour. Sweet, funny, a little bit emotional, and utterly addictive. What a wonderful series.
Mariah knows that it is in the best interest for both her and her daughter to distance herself from the past and that means keeping her secrets however that is about to become a little more difficult when a car accident has her needing help so that she can heal.
Miller is the town doctor and not only treats her but moves her and her daughter in while they heal. He is enchanted by both mother and daughter, but he knows that there is a lot she isn’t telling him. Will she trust him with her past and her heart so that he can protect her and show her what love truly is?
Humorous interactions, some intrigue and a swoony romance as two people who weren’t looking for love find it when they least expect it.
Loved the story of Miller and Mariah. The story starts off as Mariah literally crashes into town and into Miller’s life. She’s running from her past, with her young daughter. Miller has recently moved to Mason Creek to run a medial practice with his friend. He spends a lot of time checking in on Mariah after her accident. She has a broken leg from the accident, which requires several surgeries and lots of physical therapy. She stuck in town for awhile. Since she’s new to town, Miller quickly finds himself drawn to her and her daughter, wanting to help them. She finally confesses why she’s running, just as the past catches up to her. He convinces her to live with him and let him help her. This story has drama, heat, a sassy bestie, some small town gossips and a totally adorable 3 year old Claire.
A great addition to the Mason Creek series. I really loved Miller. He is prime book boyfriend material. He has such a huge heart that Mariah and Claire could desperately have on their side. His new start in Mason Creek is about to get real interesting. My heart went out to Mariah and Claire. Life is a little rough right now, but ending up in Mason Creek is going to be a blessing in disguise. Little Claire is so adorable and precious. She steals the show for sure! This book has a lot heart, emotions, and feels. It definitely took me on a roller coaster. It made my heart happy to see Mason Creek take Claire and Mariah under their wing. Also watching Mariah blossoms and thrive did wonders to my heart. A great small town single mom romance that I highly recommend!
Oooh how I love to escape over the covered bridge into Mason Creek and always get swept away on a wonderful journey walking the streets and catching up with all the fabulous characters old and new. No matter what transpires in this magical town they are all there for each other.
Miller is the hot Doctor who instantly falls for Mariah and her daughter Claire who is an absolute cutie. She melted my heart. These two certainly turned up the heat in Mason Creek and as always another fabulous addition to this superb series by these fantastic authors.
Mariah is an abused single mother that found the strength to leave, only to get in an accident and had a sexy sweet doctor help her. Miller was so kind and offered Mariah and her daughter, Claire, a place to stay while she recovered. Almost instant attraction between the two. Loved the characters. Cute story, but seemed a bit rushed at the beginning. I was expecting a little more drama from the ex. I really did like how involved Miller was with Mariah and Claire and how much he cared for them and wanted to help.
Single mother Mariah has an accident while fleeing her abusive boyfriend. Ending up in hospital in Mason Creek the locals take care of her daughter as she recovers. Miller, one of the doctors looking after her, asks Mariah with her daughter, Claire, to move in with him while she works out what to do. As she worries about her boyfriend finding them Mariah agrees to try and help police put him away. Although this is a serious storyline there are many comic moments provided by Parker, son of Miller's friend, Lilly, Mariah's overpowering friend, the Mason Creek gossips as well as a hot and steamy romance. Can't wait for the next in this series. Read an ARC for an honest review.
Another wonderful visit to Mason Creek. This is one of my favourites. Mariah is running from an abusive relationship with her daughter. Being in a car accident is the last thing she needs... Miller is the new doctor in Mason Creek, hes not interested in relationships, but there is an instant pull towards Mariah. Can she let the residents of Mason Creek (especially Miller) help her and her daughter and will her and Miller get a HEA. Danger A perfect town Romance What more could you want....
The last thing Mariah needed while she is running away from an abusive relationship is to crash her car in Mason Creek but with the support of the town not only does it give her time to recuperate but it is the first step in a new start for her and her daughter. Being the new doctor in town gives Miller time to look after the new patient but to also fall in love. But will the man she is running come to Mason Creek to do her harm? Or will the new beginning for the stranger in town be just what the doctor ordered? Loved the connection and loved the chance to start over. A great read.
Perfect Stranger is a story I wanted to love but unfortunately only ended up liking. I think this was a more me thing than a you thing. I couldn't establish a connection to the characters from the very beginning so it had me feeling a little on the back foot. The storyline was great and the characters in themselves were good however it was just me feeling a little disjointed from them that had this being a four star not a five star. It is packed with emotion, passion, heat and drama. A good story that for the most part is entertaining and has just enough angst to hold your interest.
Mariah and Miller's story was such a great experience. I was hooked from the start.
After a terrible accident, Mariah has to heal body physically. All the while needing to heal herself emotionally. Miller is so extremely patient with her. I was just so blown away by him. Miller will definitely make you swoon. He is sweet, kind, and so trustworthy. GAH!
So full of love, passion, and sweetness. Perfect Stranger, is the perfect addition to the Mason Creek series!
A quick, engaging read that's part of the Mason Creek series. Though it's the 17th book in the series it can be read as a standalone. I have only read one other book in the series but wasn't lost at all.
Miller is drawn to Mariah after helping her when she is injured in a car crash. A strong connection builds between them despite her reluctance to open up to Miller and let him in.
The story moved at a good pace and kept me reading. I thought it did a nice job balancing the romance, humor, and intrigue, too.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
I love when you begin a story and within the first couple of pages you are hooked and can’t put it down. This is one of those stories. It was filled with chemistry and heat, along with some suspense and what the heck is going to happen. Characters you love and also ones you love to despise. I did not want to put this one down, nor wanted it to end. It’s a great addition so make sure you one click this right away.
Miller Campbell needed a change of pace. Now he's the newest doctor in Mason Creek and a hottie on the side. He loves the town and the people. He is also adjusting to small-town living and being able to be himself. When a car accident happens he is there and it does something to him. Mariah Abercrombie has been in a horrible accident and has some healing to do. She's beautiful and I loved her. She has things going on in her life that scare her. Miller will do what he can to protect her and find out what she's hiding. Can secrets and past be put there and love come into the light? Find out in Mason Creek.
A single mom romance with heart. This makes me want to find my own Mason Creek town. Miller and Mariah don't meet in the best of circumstances but their connection and attraction is immediate. I loved how they develop and how he also connects with her daughter.
