This is part of a continuing series by Amazon International Bestselling Author, Mary Rundle – reading the previous titles is advised. Readers will enjoy catching up with members of the Blackwood Pack and reading about what is happening to them as the pack does what it does best ̶ caring for one another, fighting evil, and helping shifters everywhere.
Finally free after spending more than 50 years controlled by a cruel master, Lucius has one goal only—return to the family taken from him when Valerian transformed him into a vampire. But he soon finds that even though his master is now dead, a death grip on him remains. Stripped of his powers to translocate and in constant pain, Lucius’ only hope is to follow a force pulling him toward a place he hopes will end his suffering.
Brady, a retired attorney, who worked at the Witches Governing Council, arrives at the Blackwood Pack after agreeing to help one of the pack’s brothers whose mate is the new Ruler of the Mystic Realm, and whose life is in danger because he wants to end the blatant corruption and exploitation of low level magic users.
Brady meets the pack’s members and is in awe of the powers the Fates have bestowed on them. But, after his previous years of dealing with the unscrupulous members of Witches’ Governing Council—and then being ousted for his efforts to achieve justice—he’s become distrustful of outward appearances.
Called into Alpha Blackwood’s office, Brady learns the Fates have given him the young vampire as his mate. But Lucius, having been found unconscious, lies dying, and Brady must decide if he is willing to do the only thing that will save his mate.
Eventually, Brady and Lucius begin a journey, where the past and present are woven together until both achieve the love and happiness they always desired, but never knew how or where to find.
Astounding surprises, rare and unique gifts, action-packed adventures, and many unexpected twists and turns make this passionate love story by Mary Rundle impossible to put down once you’ve read the first page.
A few years ago, I wrote my first book, Dire Warning. Readers loved it and I was on my way to chronicle the Blackwood Pack, seven brothers who are gay wolf shifters in search of their fated mates—stories about love at first sight with twists and turns, angst and humor, romance and adventure and, of course, happy endings. Since then, the pack has expanded, allowing more stories to be told and different paranormals to be included. The series has become, as one reader described it…an “Epic Saga.” Now, twelve books later, Lord Manetu has just been published. I love the M/M paranormal genre because it gives my imagination a lot of territory in which to roam. My mind can really run wild and come up with some amazing stuff when it doesn’t have to stay inside the box. My story ideas come to me as if they were being channeled by my characters, all of whom I love (except for a few villains). They are eager to recount their lives, loves and adventures, and are not reluctant to let it all out when it comes to revealing steamy details. My writing style is free-wheeling and uninhibited and my readers tell me they love it that way; that it makes them feel like they’re right in on the action and a member of the Blackwood Pack. I live in the Northeast and love the beautiful change of seasons, my husband, and our quirky calico cat, though not necessarily in that order. I read a lot (good for the mind) and love gardening (good for the soul). And I’m always happy to hear from my readers and can be reached through Facebook, my private Facebook Group, Twitter, Instagram, or my website.
I'm so excited. Can't wait for the next book. Lucius is so innocent in the world of paranormal. So sad when you see people who emotionally and mentally abuse someone. Glad he has his mate to balance things out. Can't wait to see what happens with the Witches' council.
I was lucky enough to find this epic story after 10 of them were written. And I ate up all 10, reading nonstop. I LOVE this saga, it is in my top 5 favorites. Waiting for book 11 was tough, but so worth the wait! As will book 12 be. The story continues right were it left off. Every character in these books is are cherished character to me. I love the weaving of loved characters with new one and how intertwined they all are throughout each books story. The over arching theme of the books has so many intriguing plots going on and keeps you always guessing what's going to happen next, what's all this leading to. It's exciting. I laugh, I cry, I swoon, I celebrate in victories with these characters.
Mary Rundle has created an amazing special world of true love, compassion, family, trust, amazing characters, family, brotherhood, friendship, and romantic bonds that are unbreakable and stand the test of life and time. I highly recommend this series.
Except it kinda seemed all over the place. A lot of stories entertwined. It's all on me for not re-reading books before jumping into this one. I love all of the stories.
I loved this book and the whole series. Lucius and Brady fit together so well. I can't wait to find out what happens next with the Witch's Council and with Josiah. This series is well worth the read.
Another awesome book in this series of the Blackwood Pack. Five stars and more for such a suspense filled story and the adorable children to complete a great story. I recommend this book and the previous books in this series, you will not be disappointed. Mary Rundle is one of my all times favorite authors.
This one for me was okay. Too many different moving parts and it wasn’t focused enough on the main couple. I felt pulled in too many different directions and it didn’t advance the story enough for me. It felt slow. And it is definitely a slow burn for the main new couple. There wasn’t a lot of action. Tho Alex and Quin at times brought tears to my eyes. In the end, this one didn’t do a lot for me. I’m ready to see what happens in the next cause I hope some action will happen to really advance the story.
Another great visit to the Blackwood Pack. I read multiple chapters at each sitting, because I couldn't put it down. My only complaint is that this book ends, just as the major actions are about to take place, to be continued in the next book. I hope that book12 comes out a lot faster than book 11. I forgot a lot about the characters while waiting for book11 to be released.
This series is best read in order. Like the previous books, Blood Prophecy is another great story in this long-running, complicated and interesting world. You really do need to listen to these books in order.
Nick J. Russo has been performing all of the audiobooks in this series and he is doing a fantastic job. There are many different characters, with many different accents, and he gives each of them a unique voice so that it’s easy to tell who is speaking. I can’t say enough good things about this audiobook.
The blurb is detailed and excellent so I’m not going to try and expand on it. Just know that this was another very compelling addition to the Blackwood Pack saga. I felt so bad for poor Lucius but Brady will take good care of him. Just a warning: if you pick this up as an audiobook once you start listening to it I don’t think you’ll want to stop! 🥰
I am now eagerly awaiting the next book, Lord Manetu, to come out in audio. Mary Rundle tells me that it should be out this summer (end of July if all goes as planned). 🥰
A copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author/narrator.
3.5 stars - I think this was published to get something out there
So I’m very confused. At the beginning of this book, we are told that the Witch Council will anticipate, and want, Remy to announce certain changes so that they can discredit him, and come to control him. I’m not sure exactly how discrediting him would work since the office is bestowed by higher powers than the Council, and they can’t do anything about it. Added to that, why does the “brilliant” plan that is devised happen to involve exactly the course of action that Brady discarded? And why was absolutely no mention of Brady’s apparently fool proof solution make another appearance?
This book wasn’t edited as well as previous books have been and there were a few places where it was clear that there had been rework done that wasn’t integrated well into the rest of the narrative. Added to all of this is the fact that Brady and Lucius aren’t in the Blackwood Pack, won’t be joining the pack, and only tangentially interact with the pack. I’m not sure why I’m expected to care much about these two. And I felt cheated with the whole Blood Prophecy thing - it was a gimmick that didn’t produce what was promised and ultimately had no real relevance.
This is the eleventh Book in the Blackwood Pack Book Series .
First I want to say that the title of this book is book bate like click bate . Because the first haft of this book is about the threesome . Which is alright because a lot was left in the air in the previous book . And I'm not gonna lie and say that book ten was one of my favorites because it wasn't . Don't get me wrong this is one of the best MM shifter romance series that I've read . But there's a lot of moving part and a ton of characters to keep up with . Not only do we have the original brothers but now the cousins and family family friends . And with a title like this you would think that Lucius' would have been way more special than he is . Anyway I'm glad that the dragon brothers were able to come together the way they did . Although that grandfather is suss the only other thing I wish these types of books had is more variety of other ethnicity as the love interest of some of the main characters . And maybe NOT so much DRAMA or dramatic situations . And quite frankly I think that things need to come to a head with this series it's eleven books and counting and there's always a new threat .
My first word might have been "noooo" but I didn't want anyone to think that this was a negative review. That reaction is because I actually have to wait for the next book this time (totally pouting right now!) ;) Now as for this story there were so many feel good moments and a bit more of an opportunity to take a breath though not to worry because it had plenty of twists and turns as well. While I understand why this one was said to be HFN I personally was satisfied with this couple's relationship at the end of this book to consider it an HEA. However, as we fans know by now it is far from finished! I can not wait to find out what happens in the many (hint*hope*hint) more stories to come for the Blackwood Pack and their friends!
I have now reached book 12 of the Blackwood Prophecy series and enjoyed each one. Not only are the original Blackwood Brothers the subject but their mates and those members of the paranormal community they have had a connection with have become members of the Pack. The desire to learn the future and fate of the characters is driving the reading which must be done in sequence of the books as they follow on from each other.I have enjoyed and highly recommend the world of shifters and other paranormals as they appear by this talented author.
So the boys are probably two of my favorite characters (Eaman and Galen), that said my namesake seems to have some surprises in store for us all (Jessica). What I love most about Mary"s books is that they are not only diverse but full! You get fun, family, humor, some harsh reality, some really hot sex scenes and overall hope and happiness. There is something for all MM Romance fans in the Blackwpod Pack.
This series is just incredible! Every book surrounds a new couple and involves the Blackwood Pack with unique characters and storylines. I especially love how they all interact with each other and help move the storyline along. This has become one of my favorite series. Highly recommend
So we must be getting close to the end - A fair number of questions are answered, and solutions are being developed. But still, there are a ton of loose ends. No wild emotional swings in this one and some interesting connections were made. While I enjoyed the book and the overall series, I really would like things to wrap up in the next book. I am ready for the conclusion.
I enjoyed this book. I like how Lucious was able to gain some confidence in himself and his mate. I liked hearing about the past mates and what was going on with them. I’m looking forward to the next book.
I really enjoyed this book and the whole series so far my only complaint is having to wait for the next one keep this books coming Mary Rundle I would tell anyone to start reading this books in her series thank you Mary Rundle
I love this series and can't wait for the next books in this series and I am looking forward to see what happens next and excited to see what happens with Quin and also Norm and Theo and who their third will be.
Lucius and Brady are ok, but they are new characters that didn't make me feel much, i want a resolution for the beginning characters that i love since book one, i want some peace for them, so this book.. I looking forward for next and for quin history
The tension rackets higher when high ranking paranormal and witches challenge their loss of power. Witches and vampires find their mates. As dragons, shifters and those with gifts from the Fates work together to heal wounds inflicted on each other.
Brady never knew he would have or want a mate, but the Fates decided he would. Lucious was just what Brady never knew he needed. They both needed love so badly. Good book and this series keeps getting better and better!!
I just binge read all 11 books and loved them. Each character was well defined and interesting. I am looking forward to book 12 and hope it arrives soon!!!
If you like stories about shifters this series is terrific. Also has some unexpected twists. Hard to put down! One of my favorites. Can’t wait for the next book.
I loved this serie! Blood Prophecy is Lucius and Brady are the new characters in this book! Both are going to be a good addition to the serie! This is getting better and better, I like how each characters have a purpose, I can't wait to find out what is going to happens next, so many future problems for the Blackwood pack! This series is really good.
