As a recovering serial entrepreneur and business coach, I have helped many businesses significantly increase their revenue and valuation. However, growing a business and addressing key problems take training, so I’ve written short, but entertaining, chapters to explain important business concepts for entrepreneurs and teams.
You can pick a chapter to review with your team during weekly or monthly training, making it simple to introduce new concepts with minimal preparation time. As a founder of a multi-million-dollar business, a serial entrepreneur, and a Scaling Up coach, I’ll share with you and your team how you can scale your business to the next level.

I am an executive advisor and Scaling Up coach at Red Wagon Advisors. I help mid-market compa- nies as they scale into industry-domi- nating businesses. I split my time between Red Wagon and my next tech start-up, Redegades. My career spans over 20 years of entrepreneurship and startups. Leadership and governance have been my primary roles, and the companies I have started have had a strong focus on technology. I have spent over a decade creating and managing startups. I consider myself a digital native, coach, mentor, and innovator. I am a proud member of Generation X and my life purpose is to build teams. I serve as president of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) West Michigan. I’m also a YPO international council member and an active leader on the local and regional boards. The most recent startup that I successfully exited grew from 5 employees in 2006 to over 80 employees and $36 million in revenue in 2017. This company was listed as one of the fastest growing compa- nies in America six years in a row by Inc. 5000. In 2015, I was honored to be named Alumnus of the Year by Cornerstone University. While building my businesses, I learned that nothing is more important than family. I am thankful for the support of my beautiful
and accomplished wife, Alicia, and our four children — Ethan, Elijah, Ian, and Elora. Spending time with them is a priority to me, and even though they are adults, my wife, Alicia, and I still enjoy taking our family to Disney and Yosemite.
