Mr. Ken has been in a dating rut after his wife passed away. Before she'd gone, she told him to move on and find somebody else... But more importantly, to find somebody else to be a good mother to their son.
But as he explains to his babysitter, he keeps going on a lot of first dates. And a few second dates. And zero third dates.
Willow is the teenage girl who has lived next door for a couple of years now. She babysits for Mr. Ken. And when he comes home from a bad date, she lends a sympathetic ear.
But tonight, Willow asks him to help her practice a love confession on a boy. Mr. Ken is a little apprehensive when she says that this boy is a bit older than her, and encourages her to focus on her education. But things change when Willow asks to practice kissing him... and then to practice other things, instead.

I didn't like the fact that Willow was only eighteen. Although it was stated multiple times throughout, the entire thing felt a little icky to me. If I was Mr. Ken, I would have shoved her off and told her to go home and practice making out with her pillow.
However, if you can look past all of that, I thought that the actual story was pretty nice.

Another story in which Granger tries her hand at some barely-legal x adult stuff. I'm addicted, and I really see the appeal in her writing!
