Okay! This book has absolutely interesting and promising plot line! But the execution was too slow! Pacing never picked up even though the chapters are short and choosing multi POVs to tell the story normally work good for unfolding the mysteries. But this time that short chapters didn’t get you intrigued enough to move on to the next one.

The story set at 6 Ripley House Approved Premises: the place where some of the
UK's most heinous violent offenders - released on licence to serve the remainder of their time in the community.

Of course the neighbors were not happy about the existence of this place. The local residents and the neighbourhood watch scheme, run by Helen Burgess, had complained when they were first informed of the probation hostel location.

And things get escalated when one of the convicted criminals is killed brutally. Danny Wells had so many enemies and nobody wanted him to live! He already made his bed. Not only his fellow criminal residents but also the staff of probation premises may be involved in his murder case.

The book started as an exciting whodunnit mystery. But a few chapter later I started to lose my enthusiasm.

The characters including Investigative Crime Journalist Sloane and nosy neighbor Helen were dislikable. Jeanette: senior probation officer may be the only character you can connect with.

The identity of killer was so obvious from the beginning and with slow pacing, you just get more frustrated at each chapter as the story get dragged! I just want to scream the author wrap things up immediately. I was a little out of patience. Okay, quick correction: I was enormously out of patience!

Overall: I’m giving three solid stars for unique plot line and promising start but I was expecting more. I got a little disappointed.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins UK, One More Chapter for sharing this digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest thoughts.

“There had been seven residents present and none of them were angels.”

Danny Wells, a violent offender and resident of a probation hostel that houses high-risk offenders released “on licence” to serve the remainder of their time in the community, is murdered in cold blood in the common area of the hostel.

Jeanette Macey, the Senior Probation Officer who manages the hostel is informed of the discovery of Danny’s body in the middle of the night by her Probation Service Officers. The malfunction of the surveillance equipment, a result of neglect on the part of the service officers in charge, has worked in the murderer’s favor. But in a house full of criminals, one can only expect that law enforcement wouldn’t have to look too far to find the culprit.

Ripley House Approved Premises or Ripley House has been a cause of concern for the local community ever since it opened two years ago. The presence of high-risk offenders in the neighborhood prompted the formation of a neighborhood watch led by sixty-eight-year-old Helen Burgess, who later volunteers in the kitchen of Ripley House to keep a closer eye on the goings-on.

Helen is friends with Sloane Armstrong, a freelance investigative journalist, who has been reporting on the probation hostel and how the locals have been reacting to the presence of the inhabitants ever since the Ripley House was established.

As the narrative progresses it becomes evident that there is much more going on at #6 Ripley Avenue other than rehabilitation and assessment of the criminal residents. Sloane makes it her business to get to the bottom of the shady activities occurring in Ripley House and, with help from Helen, starts investigating. Jeanette realizes that in addition to the murder, other illegal activities have been going on right under her nose. As manager of the hostel, she is accountable for anything that goes wrong. Who killed Danny Wells and why? Would a recently released criminal risk going back to prison by committing another heinous crime and if so, what could motivate such an act?

The narrative is shared from the perspectives of Jeanette, Sloane, Helen and the killer. Despite the intriguing premise of this novel, the pacing of the novel was uneven and lacked intensity. The novel starts well, the writing is good and the main characters are well-fleshed out (with an exception of the law enforcement officials, who, for the most part, were “chasing their own tails”) but it is not difficult to zero in on the probable suspects early on, which makes it hard to remain engaged through the length of the novel despite the twists that are introduced as the story progresses. In short, 6 Ripley Avenue by Noelle Holten has potential but falls short in its execution. While I did not dislike the novel in its totality, I was a tad disappointed.

Thank you, HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter and NetGalley for the digital review copy of 6 Ripley Avenue. All opinions expressed in this review are my own. This book is due for release on September 27, 2022.

The premise of this book sounded right up my street!
I was thrilled to be invited onto the blog tour of this one, and the blurb sounded chilling! I honestly couldn't sign up for the tour any quicker than I did lol.
I hadn't read any Holten books prior to this one, but she seems very popular with crime and thriller fans. After reading this book, I am a new fan!
It was gripping twisty, and full of mini cliffhangers to keep me reading 'just one more chapter'! I raced through the pages and finished the book within a day, and with a grin on my face!

Noelle Holten takes a departure from her fabulous DC Maggie Jamieson series for this exciting, stand-alone thriller. 6 Ripley Avenue has all of the ingredients for a gripping novel where a murder takes place at Ripley House Approved Premises. One thing is for certain, either one of the ex-cons residing at the probation hostel or one of the staff committed the murder.

Senior Probation Officer Jeanette Macey is trying to keep things running as smoothly as possible as the police begin their investigation. They are not the only interested parties. In fact, Sloane Armstrong, freelance investigative journalist, with a focus on crime, takes a strong interest in the investigation, and stays as involved as possible. She is not the only one, as there is yet another person who has a vested interest in what is going on at Ripley House.

As this compelling story moves forward with various third person perspective from key characters, there is also the chilling first-person point of view of the killer, and their part in what is going on while the police are working on the case. With a house full of high-risk criminals, suspicion reigns king from the start. While, the hostel has upset the community already, if this case is not solved, and quickly, the doors might close indefinitely.

I have heard it said more than once to write what you know. As a former probation officer, Noelle Holten knows her stuff. Coming from experience, her writing led credence to a well-written story that was impossible to put down. The book never once let me go as I could not wait to figure out who the killer was. With an excellent storyline, incredible pacing, a few surprise twists and a satisfying conclusion, 6 Ripley Avenue kept me on my toes as I was pulled into the story from the very start.

Many thanks to One More Chapter and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This was just ok for me. I liked the alternating POVs and the short chapters but it did not excite me or hold my attention.

The story centers around a controversial hostel for high risk offenders who go their to serve out the rest of their sentence. When the unpopular Danny Wells is found murdered in the early morning hours, Jeanette the officer in charge is on serious damage control. The people in the neighborhood already aren’t happy about the hostel and this is going to make everything ten times worse.

Helen is eighty six and the leader of the neighborhood watch. She decides to volunteer in the kitchen at the hostel to keep an eye on whats going on. Helen is friends with Sloan, a journalist who has written extensively about the hostel since it opened.

After Dannys murder, the three women begin digging into the hostel and realize that there is a lot more happening than they realized. Of course this information puts them in the danger zone.

You also get the POV of the killer who believes that they are justified in doing what they are doing.

Will you take a stroll down 6 Ripley Avenue?

6 Ripley Avenue is available September 27,2022.

Noelle Holten is back with thriller 6 Ripley Avenue. I have loved her previous novels, so I was excited to read this standalone book.
Jeanette is the manager of 6 Ripley Avenue, a Probation Hostel for high-risk offenders that are on License. Which is housed on a normal residential street. The residents are not happy that is there, and they don’t feel safe from its occupants.
Sloane is a freelance investigative journalist for the local newspaper and keeps an eye of the comings and goings of 6 Ripley House and can’t wait for something to happen so she can get her big scoop for the newspaper.
At 3am Jeanette gets a call from the night staff to say one of the offenders have been murdered at the hostel. There is a list a whole list of suspects and Jeanette worries who she can trust. When Sloane finds out. She is determined to find out what happened that night and find out who the killer is. She gets help from volunteer at the hostel Helen, who also lives next door to the hostel and blames the death of her husband Malcolm in what is going on at the hostel. Sloane wonders why she is even working there.
Thank you, Harper One more chapter for a copy of 6 Ripley Avenue. This is a great, gripping thriller from Noelle Holten and although it is different from her other books, I think that it is the authors best book to date. With the author’s own experience working as a probation officer, the story was more believable account of what goes on with the release of prisoners and the problems that the system faces. The story has great characters especially Sloane and her determination to find out who the killer is. 4 stars from me.

A stand alone novel from the author of the Maggie Jamieson thrillers was always going to be an interesting read….but how would it fare as a book coming inbetween series’ books?,very very well I have to say
As always Noelle Holton has used her vast past career knowledge in this book and created brilliant characters to write a perfect cat and mouse whodunit written from the narrative of the killer themselves and others who feature in the book,I mention characters first as I found them all to be very strong,I didn’t like them all ( the author did her job well 😊) but did have a very soft spot for Helen, the interfering yet more than capable neighbour,I found them all, good and bad,to be believable and invested in their back and present stories
As for the story,it did hook me and keep me there,I wanted to carry on reading as needed to know what why who and how….all this was very cleverly revealed and I am being honest in saying I didn’t guess the killer
An intense, fast paced, enjoyable, detailed and exciting and the most important a really really good read

Noelle Holten's 6 Ripley Avenue is an intriguing stand-alone book that starts off with a bang. This is my first book by Holten, who has six books to her credit. Noelle Holten is the author of the best-selling Maggie Jamieson series.

Synopsis:
Jeanette is the manager of a home for high-risk criminals who have been released on probation. During the early hours of the morning, Jeanette receives a call informing her one of the residents has been brutally murdered. Upon arriving at the scene, Jeanette discovers that her security team and all the residents are suspects in the investigation. Will the killer be caught before someone else dies?

6 Ripley Avenue is a slow burn that builds to a satisfying conclusion. Noelle Holten spent eighteen years as a Senior Probation Officer and is well versed in writing criminal novels. She describes probation procedures with a wealth of knowledge. The characters are interesting and diverse.

6 Ripley Avenue by Noelle Holten is available on September 27th.

Thank you, NetGalley and HarperCollins UK, One More Chapter, for allowing me to review this mysterious novel. I appreciate your kindness.

6 Ripley Avenue by Noelle Holten is a psychological thriller.

First, let me thank NetGalley, the publisher Harper Collins, One More Chapter, and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

My Synopsis:    (No major reveals, but if concerned, skip to My Opinions)
A hostel located at 6 Ripley Avenue has neighbours concerned.  The hostel contains high risk offenders who are currently on probation.  People have been petitioning to have the hostel removed since the day it opened.

When Jeanette Macey, the manager of the hostel, receives a call at 3:30 in the morning telling her that one of the residents has been murdered, suspicion falls on both residents and staff. The victim had not been liked by anyone, but murder is a bit extreme. The other residents are no angels, but murder?  Jeanette is also concerned with the actions of her staff as well, and is wondering what each is hiding, for she is sure something is going on.

Sloane Armstrong, a local freelance journalist has been writing pieces about 6 Ripley Avenue since the hostel opened.  She's even made friends with Helen who started the neighbourhood watch on the house, and who lives across the street from the hostel.  Helen has been able to supply Sloane with some juicy tidbits.  Sloane is determined to find out what really happened.

My Opinions:
I will have to look into the author's Maggie Jamieson series.  I like the way she writes.  The chapters alternate between different characters (including that of the killer), and the story is told in a very straight-forward manner.

I liked Sloane and Jeanette, both of whom really wanted to find the killer. There were plenty of suspects to choose from, and although my early suspicions were confirmed, the story still compelled me forward.

My only complaint was that it was a little slow, making it a rather long book.  However the rather short chapters helped, and again, it still kept me interested\.

Overall, it was  a good read.

DNF @chapter 16

I threw in the towel on this one at chapter 16. This should have been right up my alley, but the major continuity issues were just glaring. One, the journalist doesnøt know who has been murdered when she write her article. next chapter she is asking about the person who got murdered by name. Then, and this one was mind blowing. The killer buries the evidence in the yard. He dug a hole and everything. Then in chapter 16 he is taking the evidence from under the floorboards in his ROOM. I mean...come on! I know ARCs are not the finished copies, but even for an ARC this was ridiculous! 😂😂

The premise of this is unusual and had me hooked-a murder takes place in a halfway house. Obviously if the victim and the murderer were living in a halfway house, it’s because they’d been released from prison so any of them could be the culprit. So which one of them is it and why?
There’s a lot of dialogue that doesn’t really push the story along any and in some cases it actually bogs it down some and Jeanette, the head Case Worker at the half way house is really hard to like. And what seemed even more unusual to me was that the police didn’t seem half way interested in the case at all, in fact, an investigative reporter and the nosy neighbor next door who wanted the half way house shut down cared more about what happened than the police did.
I wish I had liked it more than I did.

OMG! Wowsers! That is some book, and without a doubt in my mind is Noelle Holten's best book so far. I was on the edge of my seat, completely and utterly gripped and think I must have suspected almost everyone at some point.

I didn't have a concrete theory for any of my suspicions, but I also couldn't piece it together any faster than the information was revealed to the reader.

This is one tightly written book from a few different point of views and gives an excellent insight into the probation service, and just how ex-prisoners out on licence are treated and just what everything means. Also shows how various departments within the justice system can work together on occasion.

We have chapters from Jeanette, the manager of probation hostel Ripley House, busybody neighbour to the property Helen who has never wanted the hostel there and has protested against it, but also is now volunteering in the kitchen. We also have chapters from Sloane's point of view, she is an investigative reporter, seems to be wanting Ripley House closed down too and is good friends with Helen. Lastly we have chapters from the killer's POV, so cleverly written that they give nothing away (at least that I could pick up on).

I found even when I wasn't glued to the pages, the book was preying on my mind, and I was wondering what the characters were currently getting up to, while also needing answers for myself.

Utterly fabulous, and I heartily recommend it.

Thank you to One More Chapter and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

ONE HOUSE
EIGHT KILLERS
NO WITNESSES

Jeanette is the manager of a probation hostel that houses high risk offenders released on license.

At 3am one morning, she receives a call telling her a resident has been murdered.

Her whole team, along with the eight convicted murderers, are now all suspects in a crime no one saw committed…

This is a standalone novel by an author whose Maggie Jamieson series l highly recommend.
I found this one such an interesting concept and something a bit different and thought provoking to how I’d feel if this was my neighbourhood.
Told from Helen (a neighbour) Sloane (a journalist) Jeanette (probation manager) and the actual killer, the mystery unfolds through short chapters that kept me intrigued as l tried to work out who the murderer is (there are plenty of suspects to choose from) and more than one incident! Well written, the authors own background comes through strongly with the attention to detail of the probation service.
With thanks to Netgalley,Noelle Holten and Harper Collins UK,One More Chapter for my chance to read and review this book.

This is a standalone thriller by Noelle Holten who I know from her excellent DC Maggie Jamieson thriller series.

6 Ripley Avenue centres around a probation hostel; high-risk offenders are released on licence and reside there on a placement. Violent offender Danny Wells is found in the living room, murdered and Jeanette Macey, the Senior Probation Officer is informed. The police begin their investigation and freelance investigative journalist, Sloane Armstrong is also interested in the proceedings, as is elderly Helen Burgess, the leader of the local neighbourhood watch.

After a twisty, satisfying denouement to an excellent, well-written story, I am now waiting with (im)patience to see what Noelle Holten has in store for us thriller readers next!

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from One More Chapter via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

Ooh what a cleverly written and tense thriller this is. I was so enjoying trying to figure out whodunnit, I was silently screaming ‘Nooo’ when I realised I was about to find out. Well I was near the end and so I braced myself to be parting with a read that had kept me utterly engrossed throughout. Guess what? I was wrong! Yet another brilliant twist left me astonished and hugely a satisfied. All the clues were there but it was truly a ‘wow!’ moment. The author brings into play her knowledge gained from many years’ experience as a Senior Probation Officer, looking at the workings of the probation system and an approved hostel housing high risk offenders released on license. It's absorbing and useful information. The place is like a boiling pot amidst a community concerned they are at risk, simmering nicely as a murder occurs within its walls. There are some wonderful red herrings and I was quite sure I knew who the murderer was … several times. I felt for the characters, from the loveable and wily busybody Helen next door to the hotel manager, Jeanette, who is trying to do everything by the book. My favourite character has to be Sloane, and investigative journalist who is immediately at loggerheads with Jeanette. The two are on opposite sides, it seems, yet both have the interests of the community and all those who live in it at heart. Sloane’s backstory is perfect, never overwhelming, just enough to tell you what drives her and to establish that she has principles. I would love to see this character again going forwards. 6 Ripley Avenue really is a fascinating read, If you love a gritty whodunnit that will keep you turning the pages I would highly recommend it.

I requested this book off NetGalley on a whim without really expecting much out of it. The premise had me intrigued and I wanted to read this mystery book.

This story is set at 6 Ripley Avenue, a place where some of the UK’s violent criminals are being held to serve their remaining time in this community. Some of the neighbors weren’t happy about this idea and didn’t agree with it.

The book started super strong. We find out one of the criminals is brutally murdered. It starts as a super interesting whodunit story and it pulled me immediately. I loved the multiple POVs and short chapters. I found myself flying through the book.

I loved that some chapters were about the killer and what was going on in their mind, and they pulled off some really brutal kills.

The chapters did drag at times - regardless of being short - but I still liked the story. Most (if not all) of the characters were unlikable but I was fine with that. I was more interested in the killer on the loose, but unfortunately, I did predict the killer. It felt too obvious. This was still a fun read though!

Thank you NetGalley and One More Chapter for the gifted galley in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts are my own!

At 3am one morning, she receives a call telling her a resident has been murdered. Her whole team, along with the eight convicted murderers, are now all suspects in a crime no one saw committed…

My Thoughts: The story is narrated by Jeanette (the manager), Helen (investigative report’s friend), and the killer, in their respective POVs. I love when the killer gets an active POV, you get the narrative from all sides, makes for a more interesting read. The chapters are short, which are kind of nice, but I believe it did not help the slow burn aspect. The premise of a murder occurring in a criminal rehabilitation location was very intriguing for me. Most of the time, I do not mind a slow burn, however, the plot moved too slow for me in this one. The story starts with a bang with a whodunit mystery, gripping your attention from the start, but as the chapters unfold, it became difficult to weave my way through. The whodunit was a bit predictable, and seemed to drag a bit. The characters were fleshed out enough with most of the characters flawed and unlikeable. This was not a bad book and had an amazing premise, it just fell a little short for me.

Someone has done the world a favour and bumped off a despicable criminal. But no matter who the victim is, there’s a new killer on the street and they should be punished. What’s more, they’re somehow connected to 6 Ripley Avenue, a probation hostel, one that the local community is not happy is there.

The story unfolded in front of me from different perspectives, key characters sharing their part and thoughts on the whole situation. This narrative switching kept me on my toes as I tried to fathom who the killer was. And yes, I did hear from the killer in the narrative; their voice displayed a range of emotions from triumph at their act to nerves of being caught. This isn’t quite a cold blooded murder!

I loved Holten’s Maggie Jamieson series so a stand-alone from this author was highly anticipated. It really didn’t disappoint. Holten has curated a tense murder thriller with a slightly unusual amateur detective in journalist Sloane; this woman is tenacious to the end! The cast of suspects and supporting characters are perfectly created to cause confusion and suspicion throughout. As the story reached its conclusion, I finally remembered to breath! Wickedly brilliant crime thriller! Bravo Noelle 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thoroughly enjoyed this read. Woke up early this morning to finish it while the house was quiet.
Brilliantly written.

A standalone thriller brought to you by the very tallented Noelle Holten.
Allthough I do love a good series of books, you just can't beat a good standalone. With this being the first one by this author I was eagre to get started on this book.
I can safely say it did not disappoint. A superb thriller with enough going on to keep you reading, i couldn't turn those pages quick enough. I have not problems at all with recommending this book to any crime thriller fans.

While reading this book I had decided early on that i was the best arm chair detective ever, I knew exactly what/who was responsible. oh my days, stick to my day job, because i'm really no armchair detective. Nowhere near getting it right. In the end, it's easier to suspect everyone of everythng then you may be somewhat right.

Reading this authors works its clear that her knowledge of the probation service is first class, it shines through in her writing. Ripley Avenue is certainly somewhere you don't want to live, the residents of number 6 are not the neighbours you want to live next to. Yet everyone deserves to live somewhere. ;Just not on my street is probably the view of a lot of people. This is just how the residents of Ripely Avenue felt when they knew a hostel was being opened in their street.

When someone is murdered in the hostel, fingers are pointed. With so many criminals under one roof it could be any one of them.

Gripping and thrilling this book will keep you on your toes and keep you thinking the whole way through. Bravo Noelle, well done on another superb read.

OMG this is going to be a tough mystery thriller to beat this year!! 6 Ripley Avenue is filled with action, good characters, bad characters, twists and MYSTERY!!! Absolutely incredible.

The story follows Sloane, Jeanette and Helen who all want to get to the bottom of who murdered Danny Wells. Sloane and Helen being good friends, have always been against the approved premises and wanted nothing more than it to never have been there. Whereas Janette is the manager and senior probation officer of the house and wants the killer caught and recalled.

All of the characters in this book were extremely well written, authentic and lifelike – some made me cringe, which just adds to the facts of how well they were portrayed but the main three were all a favourite of mine for different reasons.

This is definitely one book that you need to add to your TBR and Preorder list this year. It kept me hooked from start to finish and by the end sent shivers down my spine.

This is Holtens first standalone thriller after writing the fantastic DC Maggie Jamieson series and oh boy, has she nailed it!!

I can not wait to see what comes next.

I’m a big fan of the DC Maggie Jamieson series by Noelle Holten but I’ve always got a soft spot for stand-alone thrillers and so I think 6 Ripley Avenue is actually her best book so far! It has a confidence that radiates out of the written page, delivering a gripping storyline that felt authentic and faithful to the process that we put our trust in-the rehabilitation into society of criminals deemed to have served their time. The life of a probation officer is not for many but Noelle carried out the job for 18 years before she followed her heart into the world of books and publishing, as it really shows in her finished book. The attention to detail in 6 Ripley Avenue means that you’re able to trust in the process and put your own detecting skills to the test!

There are multiple points of view throughout and the short chapters help to keep the tension high as we swap between them. The most chilling narrative is that of the killer, who’s identity is closely guarded till the very end and even then we are treated to a few more shocking twists! I really liked the investigative journalist Sloan who was determined to work out who killed Danny Wells whilst he was living in a probation hostel. Who hated him enough to murder him in such a vicious way right under the noses of those in positions of authority? Sloane has her own demons to deal with but that spurs her on even more, especially when the killer sets their sight on preventing her from solving the case.

I loved 6 Ripley Avenue from start to finish. It was a gripping, well paced read that provided a thought provoking locked room mystery in an intriguing setting! Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this book. Very different but has me hooked from the beginning. Never got bored, couldn’t wait to finish it, had about four different murderers at one point!
Thoroughly enjoyed it, highly recommend it.

Oh my – what a fantastically fast-paced, hooky, tension-filled read! The story skips between three sharply drawn characters and the killer, leaving you perpetually wanting more and desperate to know what will happen next. The action and dialogue feel authentic and convincing from start to finish. It’s gripping, compelling and creepy; what more could you want?!

6 Ripley Avenue is Noelle Holten’s first standalone crime thriller having written 3 previous books in a series. This is also the first book from Noelle that I have read.

My thanks as always to the tour organiser Anne Cater for inviting me to join this epic tour and you can see from the poster below, just how many bloggers jumped at the chance to read and review this book.

6 Ripley Avenue centres around a probation hostel which has been the cause of great concern to the neighbourhood since it opened a few years ago. Currently home to several rather nasty and violent criminals including murderers, drug dealers and burglars. Jeanette the Manager of this hostel receives a call in the middle of the night that one of her residents has been murdered. Danny Wells has a history of violence and murder and has enemies everywhere so the suspect pool is rather overflowing and the police certainly have to work hard to find the killer who could be any of the residents or staff on duty.

The story has multiple narrators, including the “killer”, the journalist who is determined to shut down the hostel, the “nosey” neighbour who works at the hostel (and happened to be my favourite character in the book) and Jeanette the manager, who truly believes that the hostel can work to rehabilitate these violent offenders and get them back into society.

This is a “locked room” type of crime, because we know that the killer is part of the hostel, although we don’t know who or why until towards the end of the story.

It is very obvious from the start of the book that the author has indepth knowledge from her time as a Probation Officer as there is so much detail and explanations for the reader which added that extra layer of authenticity.

6 Ripley Avenue is a standalone story. Set around an approved premises where some of Britains most violent offenders are housed after being released on licence.

And it's reasonable to say these offenders aren't exactly welcome, and busybody, neighbour, and head of neighbourhood watch Helen, her friend and investigative journalist Sloane are just two of a number of locals who want the place shut down.

So when one of the offenders Danny is killed on the premises. Helen, Sloane and the manager Jeanette are desperate to find out who is responsible. But for various different reasons.

And so this story is told from their points of view as well as the killers.

But how do you find a killer in a house full of killers? And can they be stopped before they kill again?

And whilst I did find the story a little slow paced. I did enjoy the mystery, and there's no denying it's a well researched book. That causes you to think certainly about where and how killers are rehabilitated.

And what would you do if a place like this was to open in your neighbourhood or even next door?

But if I'm honest, it did take me a while to really get into it and when the killer was revealed I wasn't blown away.
