Never run from a wolf!

Isadora Champagne is a witch on a dangerous mission—to take down Lucius Luceres. That bad boy alpha billionaire doesn’t deserve to have it all his way. Thinks he can dump her baby sister and get away with it! But now that she’s met the shifter, keeping her heart safe from him is going to take more than the curse she laid on him…it just might cost her a pact with the devil himself.

Lucius of the House of Luceres is an alpha werewolf, secure in his bad-to-the-bone reputation. But when confronted by the beautiful Isadora one fateful night, even he can’t ignore the extreme attraction that instantly ignites between them. But what he hadn’t counted on was how useful her magic gifts can be to the House of Luceres when one of their own goes missing.

Will he be able to set aside the centuries of mistrust between witches and shifters and allow her special brand of courage and caring to heal even the most jaded heart?

Reader advisory: This book contains scenes of mild violence, fated mates and references to inadequate parenting.

Lessons my Grandma taught me.

I have such fond memories of my grandmothers. They were both special in their own way and taught me so much about how to live my life that I will be forever grateful! Here’s the list of six top things they shared with me:

(1) Don’t say anything if you can’t say something nice about someone. I think this is my favorite one as it has kept me in good stead all my life.

(2) Never be late. Doing so makes you think you’re more important than someone else. You’re not!

(3) Life is too serious to be taken seriously. Keep a sense of humor, it will help get you through the hard times. They were both right about that one.

(4) Share what you can with those in need. Know what is your burden to bear, and what is not. This one has kept me sane over the years.

(5) Don’t be a critic. Critic’s don’t create, they only tear down. This helps me when reviewers say unkind things about my work. I try to remember that they probably just need a hug today.

(6) Do the best you can do at everything you do. At least then you will know you gave it your all.

Thank you, my beautiful grandmothers, for being strong and sharing your gems of wisdom with me. You did more good than you can possibly know.
Hugs, January Bain

She was only going to teach Lucius a small lesson for playing with her sister's heart, Isadora didn't expect to feel a pull to Lucius. Now she is getting dragged into helping Lucius find his cousin, and spending more time with him. Can she keep resisting their attraction now? I enjoyed this tantalizing supernatural romance, where witches (which Isadora is one) and werewolves (which Lucius is) are at odds with one another, and the challenges these two have to overcome, and how they want to protect each other. Both Isadora and Lucius were easy to like, Isadora is a great strong willed woman and Lucius is a commanding man (so some nice knocking of heads occurs), and it was hard to say who I liked better Isadora or Lucius (probably both were equal).

Isadora and Lucius . . .

Isadora Champagne is an angry witch who wants revenge on Lucius Luceres for dumping her younger sister. She thinks she knows exactly what he deserves and she is determined to make him pay. And then she meets him and she can’t get him off her mind now.

Lucius is an alpha werewolf who feels the strong attraction to Isadora. Her having to help Lucius find his cousin shows him how useful her magic can be to him. But can he convince her that they belong together? Could the two of them be mates?

This is an entertaining paranormal romance with strong characters in Isadora and Lucius. The author moves the story fluidly with detailed and descriptive writing, painting her scenes perfectly. There's magic along with the strong attraction and she delivers an exciting story. Loved it!

Isadora decides that she is going to put Lucius in his place when he dumps her sister. Being a witch she over steps the rules and finds herself having to help the werewolf find his cousin. Their adventure finding the cousin is full of them struggling to either accept or deny the immediate attraction they have. Isadora has issues that she has to deal with and Lucius has to find a way to keep Isadora forever. Good story.

Another amazing book by January Bain. Wonderful strong characters and intense scenes keep you hooked. The main characters in this one are Lucius, a billionaire werewolf and Isadora, a troubled witch who is determined to get revenge from the werewolf for her sister. Isadora has a complicated past and definitely a complicated present that includes her mission for revenge, a family debt to Lucifer, and a possible alliance with ancient vampires. The action never stops making this an exciting quick read.

A witch and a wolf – who will come out on top?

Well, the wolf, obviously, because the witch (Isadora) is supposed to be a strong, fearsome woman who bends the rules of her coven to help out other women but the minute the wolf (Lucius) speaks, she melts.

This was a fast-paced story with plenty of twists and turns to keep you occupied. Unfortunately for me, I wanted more depth to the story, instead of skimming the surface. Isadora’s sister acted strangely when they were speaking, but Isadora never questioned it. Why did she think her actions in the elevator were the right way to go? Why did the disappearing cousin not even leave a note? I don’t know.

This story was good, it just didn’t give me what I needed. Their emotions flip on a dime, and it made me dizzy. I’m sure fans of this author will rave over this book, but it just wasn’t one for me. Perhaps it is because it is the third book in the series and I haven’t read the others? I don’t know.

If you want steamy hot romance, then this may be the book for you.

As a rule, witches and shifters don't get along so our hero and heroine do not get off to a good start. But the attraction between them cannot be denied and circumstances force them to through those rules right out the window.

This is book three in the series but it works just fine as a standalone. No prior reading is required to enjoy this one.

This is a paranormal romance story. The book is well written and easy to read with a well developed setting that sets up some of the conflict of the story. Our characters are also well developed with interesting and unique personalities that drive the story. Both our character are good in their respective roles, but they are definitely better together. I really enjoyed watching them discover that and the steam it produces. Overall, a fun story and I look forward to checking out the other books in the series.

Highly recommended.

Lucius had his hands full with Isadora. I loved his persistence and acceptance of a witch as his Forever Mate. Isadora was quite combative to begin with, not believing in anything good happening to her. She did have a huge debt to cover, and she tried to do it by herself. They struggled through their feelings, the danger, and prejudices to find their happiness. With some steamy moments, witty moments, and finger-crossing moments, this was a good story, and I recommend it. I have enjoyed the series.

I always enjoyed the glimpses of Lucius in the previous books in the series and his story was worth the wait.
Isadora is feisty and spirited and Lucius’s match in so many ways. I love her strength, sweetness but also the way she stands up to Lucius and fights her corner when she needs to.
Lucius is steamy, sexy and full of hidden depths he might be my favourite of the Luceres family so far.
I enjoyed the plot of this book, it was fast paced and kept me gripped as a reader. I loved the way it cleverly connected to the previous books in the series and introduced some new elements to the Sin City World. This was a really enjoyable read.

Howl is still the best

I enjoyed this story more than I thought I thought I would as a whole. I am not into the vampire stuff at all.
Lucia's is so different from his character in Howl(my favorite).

Lucius Luceres is an alpha werewolf and thinks he is one hot dude. Lucius mote is something like love and leaves them. Lucius only has one-night stands. Lucius thinks and believes he is a bad boy but so do all the women. Women are always getting into fights over Lucius. Lucius is a heartbreaker. Women fall in love with him all the time.

But when he dumps this one woman a witch her sister comes after Lucius she has every intention of making him pay for hurting her sister. Isadora Champagne places a curse on Lucius' head. He will pay for hurting her sister and all women. When Isadora is through with Lucius he will probably wish he had never met her. Or will he?

When one of their own goes missing Lucius and Isadora must work together. Being in such close proximity to each other causes the sparks to fly between Lucius and Isadora. Isadora is determined that she will not be another one of Lucius' playmates. She will not be another notch on his belt not as long as she has anything to say about it. Oh, but the time they spend together is oh, so hot!

Honor is the third book in the Sin City Wolf series and it is just as hot as both the first and second books in the series. Like its predecessors, Honor is just as fast-paced and full of hot action scenes that keep the pages turning. I love a good hot werewolf book and I will have to say Honor has not disappointed in the least. I can’t wait to read more from this hot romantic series.

I highly recommend Honor to anyone who loves a great hot romantic werewolf book! One-click your copy of Honor today for another hot werewolf romantic adventure!
