The Viscount is safe; now it's time to face the music.
I thought I would've been on my way home by now, but the Viscount didn't send me home after Rell sacrificed himself so we could both live. Instead, he wants to go back to Emerald Hall and figure out who's trying to kill him.
Where does that leave me? Right back to square one. The Favoring didn't wait for me, and Invidia's House is shrinking... because I'm losing.
She's furious. All my hopes of her sending me home are gone. Instead, my prize for winning the Favoring is a life not spent in some hole underground.
Winning won't send me home. The Viscount won't send me home. I'm running out of options, running out of time, and Rell is still dead.
I don't know what to do, but whatever it is, I have to do it quick.

I did read this whole series, hoping it would get interesting. I expected a good fae romance series, but got a story about the main character and her friend, Rell. The romance is completely flat. They talk a few times over three books. It's just terrible.
Katrina Martinez creates the most realistic characters in vibrant, believable settings that are literally out of this world. Reading this book, I was so engrossed that I could not put it down. Each visit to the Katerinaverse is like visiting old friends and meeting new ones, exploring the worlds with innocence and wonder.
I start each new series wondering where in the galaxy I'll be, what new and wondrous beings I will encounter. I have been a devoted fan since the first book she wrote and have been captivated, enlightened and thoroughly entertained. Katerina Martinez spins tales that could actually happen, if only we believe!
No spoilers here. I recommend that you start with book one to fully appreciate the genius. Happy reading
This is the concluding title of the Devious Fae series, and I am sad. Poor Avery is mourning the loss of a friend, and she has to go back and finish the Favoring. But someone is still out to kill her, and someone is also trying to sabotage her winning the Favoring. She has to navigate all this while trying to get back to Earth. While this didn’t have romance at all, I still thought this was a good wrap-up. I especially liked Avery’s relationship with Rell. They are kinda cute together. LOL! I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
When everything and everyone seems to be against you, sometimes the only thing to do, is continue on. Liars was an amazing conclusion to the Devious Fae series. The book was full of action, deception, snark, and continuing on no matter the cost. It was very easy to get lost in this story and read from beginning to end. I throughly love the characters and watching their growth. The world, as I have said in previous reviews, is absolutely amazing with enough detail it's as though you can picture every scene. If you haven't already, definitely do yourself a favor and read this series and if you've read the previous books and are ready to jump into Liars...enjoy!
I didn’t realize that this was the last book in the series when I started reading it, and now that it’s over I’m very distressed to have come to the end. Especially since the whole book kept pulling me forward. As Avery dug through the layers of deceptions and half-truths around her, I found myself wanting to read faster and faster in order to find out what the answers were. I loved the ending; it’s funny and poignant and leaves me hoping that we might get to come back and visit these characters again in the future. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
The Devious Fae trilogy is amazing!! It is unique and so much fun! It’s just a fun read! I cannot say how much i love it!! 💚 I can’t stop smiling just thinking about this book and this series!! Liars was PHENOMENAL and it lives up to its name! I am just so happy how this turned out and it will stay with me forever! Rell&Avery will always be my favorite!! Even in tough situations, Katerina always manages to throw curveballs and make you laugh 😂 This is a Must read!!! #Liars#Fae#Devious#bff
Ok. To be fair. I liked this book. More so than book 1&2. I mean it still wasn’t the best book in the world that I have read but I did enjoy it. I love Katerina Martinez’s books as they’re so fast paced and they’re a perfect read for when you want something light to read or to get out of a reading slump. As for then plot of the book, I was pleasantly surprised as I was gripped to what was going to happen next. The ending though? I mean I wasn’t blown away by it but it wasn’t atrocious either.
I just love it when an author surprises me, and that happened here - in a great way! Avery wants nothing more than to go home, but the show must go on. With Silvan in his own spot of trouble, it's up to Avery to be her own hero, and to save herself. That can be tricky when you've no idea who you can trust. With twists and turns I never saw coming, Katerina Martinez brilliantly concludes this most magical series!
Oh magic eight ball.....who is behind all these attacks?!! ... ... ... Ya don't say? ... ... Really? Yup, all will be revealed in this exciting final chapter of the Devious Fae saga. This gem is filled with action, deceit, humor and sarcasm galore, intrigue, suspense, one feisty female main character, and possibly the return of a beloved character 😉. So get ready and see how things play out in the end....my bet is on our gal. Have fun, and ENJOY!!
Last book ended and I was wondering how she could top it. But then I got to read this one and it was fantastic! This was stellar writing, absolutely loved it. There is a bit of human redemption in this story. Realizing you are on the wrong path and then finding the right one, not just one but a couple of the characters. I love these kinds of stories and maybe it didn’t have the ending I expected but it did have the perfect ending possible for this story. I’d read this again and again.
This story is great and I think that the characters are wonderful. I love the relationship between Avery and the Viscount, it keeps me interested in the story. I am just going to say that I enjoyed every page and I am going to miss this world!!! I received an ARC from the Author and I am Leaving this Totally Honest Review because I Choose to and I Loved It!
That was EXCITING! Action packed from the beginning, full of betrayal, Avery doesn’t know who she can trust. The world is fantastic and the characters are varied and quite believable. This was an edge of the seat book and I loved reading it!
This book wrapped up the series in a pretty bow. The challenges Avery faced forced her to grow and learn. I was a little disappointed we never got to see the relationship Bloom between Avery and Silvan. Overall a good read and story.

Katerina Martinez's Liars is the third and final installment in the authors The Devious Fae trilogy. This story begins right where Roses left off. After being saved by her friend Rell (part sprite & part drake), Avery isn't out of danger just yet. Her relationship with Silvan, the Viscount of Emerald Hall, Fae noble of the Kingdom of Spring, has grown stronger, but she's still in danger. She's still in danger because she wrote her real name in the Book of Fae and now she must finish the challenge known as The Favoring as Kadeera Nightbloom.
