Jeannine’s poetry exposes the raw emotion and vulnerability of life as a woman, mother, wife, and Christian, while uplifting and encouraging you in your walk with God at the same time. Whether you are struggling to find time for God in a busy schedule or find yourself in a challenging time in life, the poetry in Beloved is sure to touch your heart and draw you closer to God. Jeannine’s words create vivid images and evoke strong emotions for anything who’s experienced anything similar.
Although I’m not generally a huge fan of poetry, I alternated between tears and prayers of my own as I read through the book. I’ve already gone back to reread several of my new favorite poems, like In the Grey and Come Heal Here. I’m planning to purchase additional copies to give as gifts.
