Someone is using my stolen blood to open a Portal—so they can push the whole world through into Hell.

Trying to re-learn everything you used to know in one year has drawbacks. Apart from the workload, I mean. You miss things, skip over them. Important stuff. Like that bad people can use your blood to hurt you. Or kill you.

If that wasn’t enough, a mission to rescue a friend with a tiny body but a big heart taught me someone six inches tall has as much chance to kill me as one six feet.

Throw in an unexpected conversation with a demon, a new friend with a surprise under his shirt, and a confrontation with a hit squad from the Heavenly Host, and it’s just another week in the Life of Jane.

My family is from Scotland, along the coast to the east of Edinburgh not far from Prestonpans, East Lothian. It’s a quiet place, a fishing town, but we have a claim to fame. Back in 1745, Bonnie Prince Charlie had a set-to with a rag-tag army of George II’s Redcoats and, as you could say, kicked their arse.
These days I live in Lincolnshire, with my partner and two dragons currently disguising themselves as cats – something to do with worship and pampering being far more enjoyable than all that pillaging.
I’ve no impressive credentials to validate my writing, other than the years, decades, I spent reading across anything to do with fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, and just about everything that wasn’t part of the mundane world.

And, for not at least, I’ve settled on Urban Fantasy as my writing ‘home’. I hope you get as much pleasure out of reading them as I did when I could finally close each file and say ‘thank heavens that’s finished’. :)

I didn't realize this is the third book of a series. However, it is easily read as a stand alone.

Jane Doe, the MC, has many struggles not least of which is her amnesia. While she's not a typical smart ass, kick ass heroine she manages to overcome each obstacle with intelligence and by relying on her instincts. The motley supporting cast of characters help as well.

This is a well written book with a layered plot and a fabulous MC. I read it start to finish in one sitting and have already purchased the rest of the series to read while waiting for the next book.

I received a free copy of this book and am leaving my honest review.

Love love love this

Now heading to book 4 and what can I say Jane just gets better and better. Still so many questions and vampire trouble by hey - what's new?

You won't regret reading these and Robin Marr is now one of my top authors.

I feel that each book keeps getting better than the last. More of a great Urban Fantasy that has Jane discovering more about her abilities which makes this a great read for me!!! Loved It!!

A good mystery and I like the world and magic. But things got darker in a way that is not my cup of tea - powerless people doing things against their will and more SA talk.
