Self-Publishing on Amazon 2022: No Publisher? No Agent? No Problem!
I would never have attempted to publish my own books at any other time in our history.
That’s a bold statement... The thing is, the Kindle revolution has made it so easy that if you aspire to be a published author, now IS the time. Today, you don’t have to send out hundreds of letters to publishers or agents. You don’t have to receive hundreds of rejection letters back. Even if you do get a literary agent interested in your work, there are so many people involved in the decision to publish your book that there’s no guarantee you’ll get it in print. That’s not even mentioning how your profits will be eaten away by the various people involved in the process. Each will take their cut.

After graduating from Hull University (North Humberside, UK), I went on to do a Ph.D. at Cardiff University where I studied endocrinology in fish. After working as a research associate at Cardiff University I decided I wanted to be a teacher, so went back to University (this time Birmingham) to study for a teaching certificate.
My first teaching job took me to Tenerife, Spain where I met my wife to be. After a spell of teaching in Madrid, we went back to Tenerife. Two kids later, we now live in North Wales.
On a day to day basis, I write "How To" books and courses related to websites, SEO and other topics of interest to anyone running a website.

This a great step-by-step, how-to guide to getting your book up on Amazon KDP for both ebooks and paperbacks. The author, Dr. Andy Williams, also has a self-publishing course on Udemy. I used both to format and upload my book. I've also read his book on building WordPress websites. I highly recommend his books.

The process for self-publishing was broken down into comprehesive and easy to follow steps
Dr. Williams broke the process down systematically and allowed the reader to follow and participate in each stage. Very Useful.

For me, a person who knows nothing about self-publishing, this was a great starter tool. I feel as though I will use this for reference for awhile.
