Also, as this is a translation from the Arabic and I don't speak Arabic, I wonder how the purple prose of the English compares to the style of the Arabic. The man's not wrong in his condemnation of the hypocritical rich and powerful and the book is quite relevant and timely even as the style feels archaic.
