Whispers of Christmas

Brannaugh knew the moment Kamilah and Zahra were literally thrown into his arms by the Dark One, that Kamilah was his mate. With nowhere to properly house them, they end up in the extra room in Enthrall’s home. Every day at least twice a day, he takes a break from working on his home to pay Kamilah a visit. The only problem is that her aunt, Zahra, is determined to chaperone their every moment. The woman has even begun to steer Kamilah toward another male, who seems all too eager to be considered. Brannaugh better move fast, or he just might lose his mate to the machinations of her aunt.

Dima has taken every possible opportunity to end up at Enthrall’s home. The most perfect woman, the one he’d move heaven and earth to be with, is suddenly calling Enthrall’s home, hers. The only problem is that most of the time when he goes to visit, she’s not there. She’s out, with another male. And though that male was once a trusted friend, Dima has just about determined that he’s had enough.

While Brannaugh and Dima stumble through finding and claiming the woman they feel is right for them, Destroy has decided that he’s going to provide a Christmas celebration for all of Whispers to attend. Christmas trees are cut and delivered to each and every family. There’s not a single individual living in Whispers that is not included. It won’t be long before the spirit of Christmas surrounds and embraces all who live in this hidden paradise. But first they have to overcome all the misunderstandings and the problems that arise because of them.

Come spend Christmas with us, at home, in Whispers.

I write Paranormal, SciFi and Fantasy Romance. Why, you may ask? Romance, because who doesn’t love a good romance, and the lack of reality in the story lines - because, well, normal is highly overrated. I’m 55, I have two kids, one 32 and one 12 (yes, God does have a sense of humor), one grandchild, one husband, and a menagerie of animals. Literally, too damn many things that eat wandering around our property. I love to cook, and I am a voracious reader, though since I started writing I don’t get as much time to read as I once did. I am a homebody and prefer my writing/reading time to a crowd. I have had stories and fictional characters wandering around in my head for as long as I can remember. I started letting them out into the real world and surprisingly, people have loved them. I am a Self-Published Author, and I like it that way because I can decide what and when to write. I am by no means a formal, polished, properly structured individual and neither are my stories. But people seem to love the easy emotion and passion that naturally flow from them. A bit of a warning though, there are some “triggers” in them that certain people should avoid. I’m a firm believer that you cannot have light without the dark. You cannot fully embrace the joy and elation that my people eventually find if you do not bear witness to their darkest hours as well. So please be sure to read the warnings supplied with each of the synopses about my books before you buy them. I've got three series published at this time, Avaleigh's Boys - PNR, Whispers From the Bayou - Fantasy PNR, Haven - a SciFi, and three more in process. I’m a bit sarcastic, scathing actually, and a smartass to boot, so if I offend you, it is most likely not intentional. But be prepared because it probably won’t be the last time. I’m always glad to hear from readers; those who have followed me from the beginning, and those who have just found my people. So feel free to look me up and say hello, or just follow along; either way, I’m glad to have you.

Another fabulous tale from Sandra Neeley's series Whispers of the bayou! In Whispers of Christmas the paranormal inhabitants of the whispers are celebrating their first community Christmas together thanks to Destroy and Carnage two of my very favorite gargoyles of all time! When destroy's mate Rowan wants to celebrate Christmas with a tree it starts a chain reaction with all those who live in the bayou and between destroy and carnage and others like enthrall and Lore they set out to make not only all the children's dreams come true but all who live their. And then theirs the main characters of this book Brannaugh the dark fae leader of the others and the beautiful human Kamilah who he knows is his fated mate. He's trying to take it slow but he wants her to be his now. And they aren't the only ones who will be falling in love this Christmas! I don't want to give too much away because this is a must read.It has love and passion but it also has some really funny as fuck moments from destroy and carnage's bickering like children and trying to one up each other, to imaging them with their knitted Santa hats stopping at everyone's house with a Christmas tree and then theirs Lore harassing enthrall who's already about to lose it from having kamilah and her aunt zahra driving him crazy with non stop chatter its enough to drive anyone crazy. But its the love and friendship that stands out in this story and the accepting of those who are different that really hits my heart deeply. You can tell from Sandra Neeley's storytelling that family means everything to her because she writes about things that really matter and with this series I always feel like I've spent time with old friends. I laugh,I cry and I cheer them all on like they are my friends and family and that's the sign of a awesome writer. Before I wrap this up I have to say that Neeley is setting the stage for our beautiful and powerful girl Lily and her dragon carrik! He's getting stronger and I think he will be coming soon claim his mate. Check this and the other books in this wonderful series and like Carnage I wish you all a “Hah’pee Ch’mas,”! Until next time Luv's 💗💋

Love this series so much!

If you are a fan of Whispers From the Bayou, and all of its magical inhabitants (super natural and human alike), then I think you will really enjoy this Christmas installment as I did.

It was a perfect holiday addition and as with all these books, I didn't want it to end. There is such a clever sweet twist to these characters that make this series stand out from other super natural fantasies I enjoy, and if you are on the fence about this one and have followed the series this far, you will find its much more than just fluff for Christmas as many of holiday themed novelettes I've encountered over the years are. Sandra R. Neeley has done a fantastic job with this series and has made me a loyal fan with her magical imagination. She's one of my *one clicks* and I haven't been disappointed yet no matter which series she has....but Carnage and the residents of Whisper will always be my 1st and my favorites always!.....(PLEASE KEEP EM COMING!!!💗💗💗🥰🎅🧙‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧛‍♂️🧛🏻‍♀️😇🧝‍♀️😈🧜🏼‍♀️🧜🏼‍♂️🐺🐊🐉💗💗💗

A Beautiful Holiday at Whispers

This is book seven in the series. It’s been so good. I have enjoyed all the couples and residents. This book has a fair amount of humor that will have you laughing out loud! There is Lore, Enthrall, Destroy, Carnage, Brennan, and they just keep us entertained as you read through each page. Boon is too smart for his own good. Lily is struggling and wants to know more about her past. Destroy has an idea to give his mate Rowan a Christmas to make up for missing some and the whole thing grows into a full fledge event. Destroy and Carnage are going around giving Christmas trees being Santa like, too cute plus they start arguing about who should give the tree to each resident. All the residents come together to share in this first Whispers community holiday. Although this is the last book for now, I really look forward to more with this community. Read On!

*WARNING* intended for mature audiences
This book is beautiful! It brings happiness to more than one character. It incorporates Christmas into a place that wouldn't normally celebrate it. It show Christmas being the best for giving, not for what you get. Oh my gosh, Lily is 16! I enjoyed getting a glimpse into the children. I am excited to see some of the "darker" beings brought into the fold. This is an amazing story of acceptance. The ending though!! I have read this series from book one and I am so waiting on the dragon tree! Now Lily knows more about herself. Then the ending tells who is responsible for putting Carrick in the tree! This book was well written, and had me wrapped up in this world books ago. A must read in my opinion.

Loved It

Returning to Whispers of the Bayou was like reconnecting with family and very special friends. This was the most emotionally inspiring book in the series. I love that the dark swamp natives were represented and some of them found their mates. I hope Odin reconnects with his loved one and finds a happily ever after like Brannaugh, Dima and Maura. I missed Carnage, Destroy and the other Whisper inhabitants. Even though Carnage is my favorite, I missed the interactions between Enthrall and Lore. Getting to see/read how grown up Lily is getting was a plus. I absolutely cannot wait for her story. Hopefully, Odin gets a taste of happiness as well. I truly loved visiting this world. I smiled and cried throughout. Great read and highly recommended.

Loved it !!

I always enjoy visiting this world. It was such a joy to see the new couples joining and visit with the old beloved characters. Carnage, Destroy, Enthrall, and even Lore playing at St. Nick will put a smile on your face. We get to see a little more into Lilly and her Dragon tree and I hope to all hopes the next book will be theirs. If it is Mrs Neeley, please don't let it be the last. All in all, I think you will get a laugh and maybe a couple of happy tears after reading this Christmas story. 💜

"Whispers From the Bayou" !!!!!!!

This has been a amazing and captivating series to read, holding you hostage from" Carnage to Whispers of Christmas". I discovered this author with "Riley's Pride" I was so impressed I then had to get to "Avaleigh's Boys" by then I was hooked, so now come on up to center stage take a bow because you are a amazing, awesome, gifted writer. All of your characters no matter the series they come to life and carry you along on their journey captivating you held hostage until the very end that's truly a gift, so Well Done Author, Well Done !!!!!

The ultimate holiday story!
What a joy to see Christmas celebrated by the Bayou’s residents. Once it begins, so many jump in to participate spreading the pleasure far and wide. Two of my favorites, Brannaugh and Dima have a chance to pursue (and win) their heart’s desire. Misunderstandings abound. A helping hand is clearly needed. Do read this wonderful tale and catch all the nuances that hint of the future for the lost souls living in the Bayou.

Heartbreakingly funny!

I think I enjoyed this story much more than I should have. There were places to cringe, to growl in frustration but those were counteracted by many laugh out loud moments. My poor husband may be ready to have me committed.

If you want to skip this because Christmas Interlude stories are not your thing. . . Get over that! This is a story of what Christmas really means: friends, family, and love.

Plus, who wants to miss Carnage Claus?

Christmas Stories that rock around the tree!

This is a beautiful and joyous Christmas story that you all must read. You have updates and many characters coming together and you have mysteries unraveling. All set with Christmas as a back drop. The author weaves a classic tale of love, redemption, and new beginnings. I'm clapping, Neeley. Five stars all the way guys. Just think "Rockin around the Christmas." Kudos. Peace out! Merry Christmas.

Im ready for Lily and Carrick's book now. This was a good enough book but I would like less Carnage dialogue. I imagine there'll be plenty when Lily discovers her mate is the tree and her Dad had a part in making him that way. I hope there will be a discoverable timeline somewhere for this long awaited book 😬

Absolutely love Whispers From the Bayou!!!

I hope Sandra R. Neeley keeps writing about this magical place and its inhabitants. This Christmas storey is so full of love and hope and fun. Love and confusion about who loves who is woven throughout as Destroy rounds up Carnage and Enthralled to bring Christmas to the entire community. A must read for all!

Fantastic!

Loved seeing all the residents of Whispers come together for Christmas. There was plenty of celebrations, laughter, love, friendship and bonding between the residents. Family is who you choose when it matters and that's exactly what the season is all about......Loved it and can't wait for the next book in the series.

Good

I love this series. I love how you don't focus on just one couple. Family is a theme that has been carried out throughout this series. It is so nice that characters from previous stories are still active, not just making little cameos in other stories. I am so sad that their is is almost the end.
