I went into this book with low expectations. Not because of the author, but because I have never been interested or desired to read paranormal romance. But something was telling me to get out of my comfort zone and give it a chance...And I am extremely glad I did.
Saam King, writes an intriguing tale of Damen, a Wolf King in modern times, having to keep a billion dollar company going, lead his pack, and somehow woo his very human "mate", human woman named Selene who after one relationship gone bad, is reluctant to give into Damen's and her intense attraction. All the while Damen works with his pack to discover what monsterly beast is killing off the humans that he has sworn to protect.
I was NOT 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑛 this book for an honest review. I purchased this e-book and I whole heartily recommend this to ALL romance readers.

Great werewolf read!
Midnight Inferno is a great werewolf read. I always have trouble finding good werewolf books. But this one exceeded my expectations!
The werewolf lore is different and interesting, the world building and the characters have been fun getting to know! I can't wait for book 2!
I loved watching Selene come out of her shell.

1st in the series and 1st read for me by this author and I was not disappointed!
If you know me you know shifter romance is my bread and butter one of my tippy top genre’s of romance. Now before I get into the details lemme just say if the FMC AND MMC had that enemies to lovers vibe too….dude this would have been a give star read! I loved Damen and selene’s book! I’m excited to read the rest of this series as well. Damen our MMC checks all my dark obsessive possessive boxes and he fell first and so hard! Selene was not my typical FMC she was dainty. And book nerdy and for the bulk of the book had no spine or self confidence! I was happy to see her growth and I’m excited to see where the changes in this book that happened will take her Damen and the pack. The “hidden” enemy is well done looking forward to how the events that unfolded affect further book plot lines. This book also helps set up other romantic entanglements coming together in future books highlighting key characters that I relished in reading and learning about. So ready to learn more about Ares, Xander, Pearce, Rosa and Lyta. The spice in the book was very nice and worked well with the story plot.
All in all I would give this a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 🌶️🌶️🌶️!

Selene is on her way to a new town in order to interview for a new job, her dream job, and possibly the start of her new life. Damen is a wolf shifter, king and alpha of his pack and the workaholic CEO that is still struggling with all of his titles and obligations.
They are both strong and resilient but also lost among the expectations they have to bear alone. Until they meet and the attraction is strong and burning bright. Selene was just finding herself, will she loose sight of her wants and need if all the she manage to want is Damen? Will Damen be able to focus and keep everyone safe while lost on Selene's eyes and scent?
This book is an emotional roller coaster that will keep you turning pages. If you love paranormal romance with fated mates, big families, political plots and strong willed characters, you have to read Saam King. I recommend starting with Howling Moon, a novella that you get for free by signing the author's newsletter, and it is an amazing introduction to the Bloodthirsty series world.

I liked the beginning of the book. He knows she’s his mate and hires her to get close to her. He’s sweet, kind, generous, patient, sexy and passionate. He does come on very strongly at the very beginning which sets off alarms for her as it should. As a werewolf he’s used to being around his own kind who understand the mate dynamics but she’s human so she’s overwhelmed by him pressing his suit from the very beginning.
She’s intelligent and sweet but not a push over and they have great chemistry. He respects her boundaries but also let’s her know his intentions.
Great side characters. Everyone else is his extended family and they are all kind and generous and loving with the exception of two characters. One is a female character who wants the guy for herself but he has only treated her as a sister and the other is the cousin and villain of the series who is secretly working to take down the entire family.

Bloodthirsty for the King
Damen & Selene story is not written as most werewolf books are. I am happy about that. You have this whole other kind of werewolf that many are aware of, a pack member that's jealous of Damen, another in love with him. With one bloodthirsty alive with no accent the jealous pack member finds him & tries to start an army but that gets foiled. Selene gets the job she's dreamed of, finds out about werewolf's, had to put up with a female would that's in love with her mate, gets attached by a bloodthirsty, gets changed into a werewolf by her mate & becomes queen. Although this isn't all of their story and it will continue in the rest of the series you get a pretty good idea of how things are run in the pack & how Selene feels. Would definitely recommend this series for any werewolf book lover.

Usually, fantasy isnt a favorite genre of mine- but OH WOW how this book has hooked me!
The writing is so descriptive, I felt like I was right there.
Selene is just heart warming, with her need to branch away from her family's expectations and really do something for herself, by herself.
Damen is a fiercely loyal pack leader, and once he meets his mate- Fireworks!
The spice is :::fans herself while writing this review::: fantastic!
The story line, with its many characters, makes me grateful there are already other books in this series because I want to know so much more about them all.

Good Read
This one started intense and then it kind of slowed for me and then picked back up. LOL It was interesting in the shapeshifter/bloodthirsty/werewolf differences and the multiple POV's that you weren't sure who was going to do what to who/what. Some parts did move me and almost cried with the angst of what Selene might do or not do. Damen, swoon! It had suspense, drama, action, family, love, steamy sessions and a really good ending, but makes me think that it's a HFN ending. Would have enjoyed and epilogue, but overall a very good book. On to the next! #HappyReading 💖

I added this one to my bookshelf this month after firing through it as soon as I got it - couldn't put it down! The author creates a world where you feel totally immersed in it and I not only loved the main characters, but I'm dying to read more about the side characters. Total 10/10 first of a series novel, and I'll be following this author from now on <3

Holy wolf hotness! I read this in a day! I had to know what happened next! Slow burn but it was worth the wait!! I loved Selene's character arc and Damen is my book boyfriend! SWOON! Perfect wolf shifter romance and the writing was so well done. Cannot wait for the next book!! I need it like yesterday!

I enjoyed this book. An intriguing read which kept me hooked.
I loved the relationship between Damen and Selene, it was very sweet. I thought he would be a lot darker in his personality, but actually he was a big squishy puppy under the growly exterior, especially for his mate. I LOVE this trope, so it was all good for me!

Absolutely loved this amazing twist on a soulmate shifter insta love. A human is brought in to work at a 'family' run company and finds herself a soulmate as well as a werewolf king to contend with. There are villains lurking in the shadows just waiting to squash a HEA. I can't wait to get my hands on book 2!

Well goddamn… I was told these books were addictive and yeah.
I love Damen and Selene’s story so much and the cast if supporting characters are great as well. I’m really looking forward to bk 2.

I love a good wolf shifter story, and this one is right up there! I really enjoyed the characters. Their relationship development was sweet. The writing was well done. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I could not put this book down. Out of all the books that I have read in that have wolves in them, this is the best series to read. I have also finished the whole series and the rest of them did not disappoint either.

Saam King gets me every time. I have yet to read a book of hers that I didn’t enjoy. She knows how to give me exactly what I am looking for, when I don’t even know what that is. I look forward to continuing this series.

Well Written
None of those enemies to lovers stuff. Finally, an FMC with some common sense. There was just the right amount of resistance without it being too much. There was so much spice. Good heavens, the details were just astounding. Looking forward to the next one.

There were a lot of errors in the book — breaks in the wrong place, his vs her, scenes swapping randomly. One moment it’s Michael’s POV and without warning Damon’s. Back and forth of she’s interested or she’s not. Insta love is not my jam. Characters seem very one dimensional.

Wow so this book was way more than I was expecting. I love the whole origin and I love that they were from Greece. Love Selene and Damen. I am addicted to this big bad story arc I can't wait for more.

I have already loved everything else I've read by Saam King. Another friend has always said how much she loves Saam's Bloodthirsty series, so I had to jump in. I loved it so much! The intricacies of the story line, the mysterious villain, the fated mates, the FMC struggling to come to terms with the fact that she even has a fated mate, let alone the fact that he's a werewolf.... there are so many amazing elements. Loved it!!
