This is a collection of 14 short stories about Taipei, any of which happened in a landmark or public space in the city, such as Taipei 101, the bookstore-stacked Chongqing South Road, the sports center, subway, etc. The book tells the love somehow incomplete of modern urban women, who, in their romantic relationships riddled with wounds, experience disappointment, sadness, melancholy and helplessness while revealing aspiration, and little happiness and satisfaction. Every story is a window to know about the life of Taipei women, with 14 stories consisting of a picture of the "faces" of Taipei women.
