He is supposed to be a one night stand while on a trip to Las Vegas. He tells me he wants more.
My quiet life is now in turmoil.
I don’t want a boyfriend, but he wants to be it for me. I say yes.
I have sworn off having children, and I don’t want to be with someone who has children. He has a daughter.
I fall in love with him, and I absolutely adore his daughter, but I worry that I come with too much baggage.
I have to choose what is more important to me – my lonely existence from before I met them, or a fulfilling life with them.
Deciding on it should not be this hard, but it somehow is.
Will they wait for me? Will they think it’s worth it?
Two for One is about a single dad who wants to find love and give his daughter the family she deserves. It is a sweet (and steamy) story with two people who are perfect for each other and find the courage to fight for their love. It is book two in the series but can be read as a standalone.
What to
✔️ A heroine who is too stubborn for her own good ✔️ A single dad hero looking for love ✔️ She messes up and has to grovel ✔️ Dual point of view ✔️ NO cheating ✔️ Happy ending ✔️ Steam
***This story has heart, humor and lots of heat that's intended for readers who are 18 or older***
Andie Bale lives in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!), Michigan, with her husband, daughter and awesome four-legged baby. Her love of reading started at a young age when sneaking her mother's romance books to read was the highlight of her day. Now, she is beyond grateful and excited to be able to bring the characters in her head to life.
4 star Review Two For One by Andie Bale Andie Bale is a new author to me and why I have not read her before I have no idea. This is Miranda Bryant and single dad Jackson Pitt’s story and was an entertaining and well written story that ticked a number of boxes for me. Add in an adorable little girl such as Emmy who wants a mother and a cat and you have a wonderful combination.
I love single parent stories and this is a good one. The characters were easy to relate to, engaging and did I mention little Emmy? I loved her; what a little cutie she is. This book had me smiling on numerous occasions. The connection between Miranda and Jackson was strong and I loved the relationships that both of them had with Emmy who nearly stole the book away from the couple.
Two For One is a story of finding love when you least expect it, romantic and full of love and family. I cannot wait to read more from this author as soon as possible.
This is the second book that Andie as written and i thoroughly loved it. What’s not to love sexy male and three soon to be four year old little girl and a heroine. Loved the connection from the start of Jackson and Miranda and little Emmy was so adorable, I love kids in books and their innocent and funny words. Couldn’t seem to put this book down. Thank you Andie for another enjoyable book please keep up the good writing xx
Overall I enjoyed the story. I liked all of the interaction between the H, h, and H’s daughter. There were just some facts and the way some things were worded that pulled me out of the story. Chicago is not on the East Coast. 🤦🏻♀️
I loved everything about this book. I’m a sucker for a series repeat characters and connecting plot lines. Oh and let’s not forget sweet little girls that love cats
During a trip to Vagas for her best friend's wedding, Miranda met Jackson. After only spending a short time she had fallen for this guy and they agree to meet again when he moves closer to where she lives. Finding out he had a daughter, the nightmare of her upbringing surfaces. Does she really want this package? Whilst this is the second book in a series and I've not read the first, it was a story in itself so didn't matter. It's a happy ever after sort of book, very easy to read, with a few hiccups and surprises along the way. Enjoyed.
4.5 Stars for Two for One ( Love in #’s, #2) This is the first book I have read by this author but it certainly won’t be the last because I was drawn in and captivated by Miranda Bryant and single dad Jason Pitt’s journey. This couple are looking for different things but we can’t always control what our heart wants….. Jackson is open to love but being a single dad his daughter must always come first and that means finding someone who will love his daughter as much as he does…. Miranda isn’t looking for a relationship, she enjoys her life spending all her free time with her cat and she is certainly not looking for a ready made family until she met the adorable four year old Emmy who only wants a mommy and a cat……. Two for One touched me on so many levels, I adored Miranda, I fell hard and fast for Jackson but it was Emmy that stole the show. This book has the perfect mix of love and humour but more importantly it’s a heartwarming romance that at times will tug on your heartstrings. Looking forward to reading more by the very talented Andie Bale.
This is the second book in this fascinating series and is Jackson and Miranda’s story. When Miranda is in Las Vegas for her best friends’ wedding she meets Jackson, and they agree to meet as he is living close to where she is. Miranda is content with her life with her cat and her friends, and is not looking for any relationships, and when she finds out that Jackson is a single dad to an adorable little girl, who only want her own cat and a mom, all the demons from her own childhood come to the surface. This is a well written story which is sweet, and heartfelt, with humor, surprises, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining magical gem of a story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I had to read this one because it's a single dad romance. Then Emmy sounds adorable by the blurb and she has me won wanting a kitty. I was so right about Emmy. She's so adorable and she steals the shows with her cuteness. Miranda and Jackson have a ton of chemistry that burns up the pages. I needed to fan myself sometimes with the heat they generate. Miranda breaks my heart with her past and how she thinks she wouldn't be good for Emmy. That's anything, but the truth because she's so good with Emmy. They were some of my favorite scenes. This book also delivers on the heart and feels. This is a book that had my heart happy sighing when finished. I'm so glad that I read this book!
Jackson is a single father, who is doing his best to raise his 4 years old daughter, Emmy !! Just so you know, the kid is just so adorable, I loved seein her in the book, she melt my heart !!
Miranda is Brooke best friend, and the moment she met Jackson, the attraction is definitely there, and of course, how not to fall for his 4 years old daughter !!
Great story, I fell in love with the characters and also with Emmy, I have to admit that the kid is just too adorable to resist !!
Miranda doesn't ever see herself doing the whole marriage and kids thing. Jackson is a single father that will always put his little girl first. Miranda and Jackson meet in Vegas and have 2 wild nights together. Two months later and Jackson has moved to Mirandas side of the country and is hoping to pick up where they left orff in Vegas. After a bit of a rocky start Miranda realised that she loves Jackson and his little girl Emme.
I really loved the way this author dealt with Miranda’s insecurities and reservations when it came to Jackson and his daughter. It’s a common trope but yet again this author does it in a refreshing way. Typically this isn’t the trope I enjoy but I really did love this book. This series has been great so far and I’m eager to see how the next couple is handled.
This series gets better and better with each turn of page! Entertaining, exhilarating and definitely swoon-worthy this sweet love-story will leave you wanting more and more!
