About the author

John Eckhardt is overseer of Crusaders Ministries, located in Chicago, Illinois. Gifted with a strong apostolic call, he has ministered throughout the United States and overseas in more than eighty nations. He is a sought-after international conference speaker and has authored more than twenty books, including Identifying and Breaking Curses, Prayers That Rout Demons, Prayers That Break Curses, Prophet, Arise!, and God Still Speaks. He also produces a weekly television program, Perfecting the Saints. Eckhardt resides in the Chicago area with his wife, Wanda.

I found this book while perusing a Walmart in the deep South. I was rather awe-struck that it exists, delighted that I found it and immediately bought it and spent many hours reciting passages to my fellow road-tripper, whom I don't think appreciated it much.

While it makes sense that someone might want to consolidate Bible verses for pretty much any purpose--there are some things that really bother me about this book. Really, it's the introduction that troubles me--with its testimonial approach and guarantees about how it will improve your life, etc.

In reality, it's just a book of bible quotations and faith or not, the end result is just that you have fewer dollars in your pocket and something to fixate on when shitty things are happening in your life.

I'm saddened and distressed that the author is making money preying on those less fortunate & while I found it very amusing for a couple days, the sad truth of what this book is caught up to me very quickly.

This book is SO POWERFUL! I have learned so much about the name of Jesus and how, as believers, we have the power and the authority to change our lives through that name. Effective prayers for spiritual warfare - I feel empowered to engage the enemy. Awesome read! Highly recommended for any believer looking to take their relationship with God to a higher - more powerful - level!

This book is phenomenal! It truly teaches you how to fight demons in a practical way through bible scriptures and prayers! This isn't a book that you can just read through. You truly have to read it "aloud" for the power of GOd to manifest to help you break curses and fight demons. This book is still in my arsenal to this day when I need to pray things down or cast demons out! It is a pwoerful book. It is completely life-changing! You won't be the same after reading it! It teaches you and then gives you prayers through scriptures that activate when you speak them out loud to give you the desired result.

If you're tired of demons or curses getting the one-up on you, then I would suggest giving this bad-boy a chance! John Eckhardt's books are just that and more. He goes in-depth on topics that people don't talk about as it relates to Christian faith and will teach you what local ministers/spirtual leaders are not. It will enable any prayer warrior or believer to fight the good fight. Grab your armor and this book and try it for yourself.

Curses are real and in order to break the curse, whether generational or spiritual, you have to do the work to understand the root of the curse. Be the breaker in your family and declare you will not live under the curse of pride, fear, rebellion, poverty, fear, frustrations or any other curse the enemy tries to put on you.

I appreciated the way this book was formatted. Each section was explained everything before the prayers were given so there were no questions about the point of the prayers. The prayers were quotes and near quotes from scripture so there was no question of "Is this a biblical prayer." The prayers came with chapter and verse where they were found in the Bible in case there was doubt or wording was different. A very good book and unlike any other prayer book I have ever read.

This is those books you don't read once but you keep going back to when you need guidance on your daily path with Christ to fight demons...and no this has nothing to do with curses, casting spells or any of those things. Becareful with false reviews.
