A little meh...

The first book was consumed with shocking twists all over the place and set the tone I was hoping for in the second book. Unfortunately, while there were plenty of secrets and revelations, it had a different vibe that didn't jive with this reader. While I appreciate the love between Bodhi and Eva, it doesn't need to be constantly vomited as often as it was in this story. I don't know. Perhaps this just wasn't the story for me.

Two words : Wait , WHAT ! I turned page after page saying those two words. I got to the end , only to say “the AGONY of waiting for number three!” I met the author last weekend and she assured my mom and I book 3 will pick up where this one left off.

I adore this group of friends . They’re each other’s ride or dies . The love story ! Yes they are 17. But I love their love story .

The mystery! Suspense and twist I didn’t see coming !

I cannot wait for #3!!

It was good, I liked the first book better, but still loved all the little mysteries. This series reminds me of outer banks!

This series, though 🤯 I don't even know what to say right now. I love the twists and turns, the intermingled relationships. You left me with another cliffhanger, Sarah!

After reading Confession, her first book, I knew that the author, Sarah Forester Davis, was going to make sure the second book of the series would pull the reader in and not let them go until the very end. For me, not only did I fall more in love with Bodhi & Eva, but I found and have fallen in love with new characters. A few of my favorites are Kennedy and Ethan. I was thrilled when the second book arrived and spent days reading it. So good that I literally had to put the book down and walk away a few times. I was blown away with the ever-changing plots and so many secrets that came out and how Bodhi & Eva handled those secrets with care. Imagine everything you've been told about your life are all lies. At some points, it was hard to breathe. While reading I got emotionally invested and laughed, cried, and even felt scared. Fantastic sequel with mystery and suspense at every page turn, and at the same time a bit of spice thrown in for Bodhi & Eva, and the joy of the friendships the characters all have. Loved this book and look forward to reading whatever this author writes next.

Excellent book!

🌟🌟🌟🌟
This sequel picks up right where the first book left off, and I love this. This excellently written YA romance novel by Author Sarah Forester Davis takes us on another whirl wind adventure with Bodhi and Eva. These two soul mates fall deeper in love and help each other through so many twists and turns as the plot of this novel thickens.
Much like the first book, “Confession”, themes of suicidality, eating disorders, grief , sex and of course, teenage angst, are prevalent.
I also found the story line easier to follow in this book, compared to the first.
I did have some unanswered questions (that I’m not upset about); was Dr. Walker working for Henry? I’m dying to know! What about Olivia and Luke?
Then again, I’m wondering if maybe we’re not supposed to know… yet! Confession #3 is in the works and I’m excited to see where else this story goes.
If you like YA romance then be sure to add this book to your TBR list.

HOLY APDPXKENWAMOX Best books ever!!!! Well besides Shatter Me 😜 Bohdi and Eva were just 😩🥰🥺 and I strive to have that kind of love and connection with someone at that young of age. I can’t believe it ended like that!!!??? I need book 3 stat!!! I had an inkling Porter and Bohdi were going to be connected somehow so this wasn’t a huge shock to me but it was still exciting when I found out. I love Skyla already she’s so adorable and spunky. These books have so many twists and turns some of which are predictable which I don’t mind that but some are totally shocking! I felt like we were getting secrets revealed every two chapters! All I know is I need more Bohdi and Eva and Coop and Luna and Beck and Kennedy and Ethan. Aw little Ethan and Callie! Let’s not forget her. They’re so cute! I highly recommend for all romance and mystery lovers 14+. 💖💖💖

So many new clues, information and pieces to put together. Another whirlwind of drama and secrets.

The book starts off where the first one left off and the struggles Eva and Bodhi endure to get their lives back on track while coming to terms with the events that have occurred so far. They don’t get much time for a break from the drama as new people are pulled into the mix which causes more uncertainty about where things are going.

I know what I’m saying might sound vague but I don’t want to give any of it away. It is worth experiencing it all first hand as you read. One of my favourite bits again is the unrivalled love between Eva and Bodhi. Their relationship and the way it is written is swoon worthy.

We are left with another huge reveal at the end of the book but we are told there is a third book being released. Really looking forward to that.

I am so excited to have finally read this book! I have been eagerly awaiting this one’s release since I finished book 1! I love how the confessions continue in this book, it’s is my favourite part of the story with each confession we see a little bit more love between Eva and Bodhi 💜

Ethan is my favourite new character! He is adorable and I love how he ties in to the other characters lives!

Sarah really captured the teen drama and romance and how involved teens can be with themselves but these teens have been through so much it’s lovely to see them getting to be normal teens at times!

This book is fast paced and it builds in momentum to a brilliant ending! If you haven’t already started this series, I highly recommend starting with book one Confession! Both of these are available on KU too! I cannot wait for book 3!

Get ready to buckle up & enjoy the ride!!! 🙌🏼 As soon as I read the first page of Book 1, I didn’t stop until the end of Book 2!!! 📖 It was SOOO good. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I haven’t read a story this addictive in such a long time! I have been craving 😋 something that would get me jonesing for the next page, next chapter and finally found it. I loved the fact that there was suspense, mystery, a beautiful love story, amazing side characters that added so much fun to the story line, but most of all the badass Eva & Bodhi!!! Gah! Can I please have a Bodhi for myself?!?! 🥰

This author, where the heck has she been all these years?!?! 🤩🏆 I have been wasting time skimming pages, reading the end before reading the middle just to see if it’s worth it. Ultimately, dreaming of a story that would keep me on the edge of my seat, make me laugh, cry, and scream while throwing the book across the room like this one did‼️‼️‼️ I had ALL the emotions but in a FANTASTIC, DONT MISS OUT ON THIS STORY, OR YOU WILL REGRET IT kind of way!!!

*My Confession-I had no idea that she was going to keep the story going with a 3rd book. 🥳 Normally, I wait until a series is finished before starting it……Impatient much! 🤪But, I’m glad I got a kick start on the life of these hilarious, LOYAL, adventurous, in ways damaged but inspiring group of friends that have made my quiet moments to myself so enjoyable. I am in my late 30’s and have no shame for loving and becoming an addict for the young adults of Flagler Beach!!!
I can say with 💯% certainty that WHATEVER Sarah Forester Davis writes, I will read! Addicted to her writing style, mind, and creativity!!! ⭐️

I don’t like to give bad reviews… but

OMG, this was sooooo drawn out. The kids were so whiny. I feel like this book could have been one long book. Ethan also leaned way too hard into the mom and dad thing. I only finished it because I was wondering what other mystery there could be that would make a 2nd book worth it (So, I guess the author succeeded?). But no, OMG, so looong and did I mention the whiny teens. Like, get over it already! Or maybe I’m insensitive? All I know is thank the good God Almighty it’s over.

I really appreciate authors and the hard work they do to complete books. It’s not easy. So, I have to say, read it. Maybe I’m just more mature than these teens or less sensitive?

Ok…so I have a couple of icks with this story. First, when Bodhi says “confession” then confesses whatever he’s feeling, Eva just reiterates what he says 🙄 and it was used way too much. I understand that’s the name of the book, but I felt it was kinda pointless otherwise. Again, way too many characters to keep track of. I kept getting confused on who was related to who and remembering the names. The story was a bit dull in parts and seemed to have no direction. During these dull parts, it seemed the author just filled in the lull with Bodhi and Eva expressing their love for each other over, and over, and over again… There were some ok twists and turns but I felt the storyline could have been executed better than it was.

As soon as the author announced on social media that this book was available, I got it on Kindle. I read it in a little over 24 hours. I couldn't stop. I tried, but just kept picking it back up. I loved the first, but I REALLY loved the sequel. So many more plot twists, and I fell more in love with all the characters. Bodhi and Eva make me swoon, and I was literally laughing out loud at their friends. The author has this way of making you feel as if you are right there with them all. And the ending, I did not see that coming at all. Bravo! If you loved Bodhi and Eva in the first book, this one will not disappoint.

After reading book one I could not wait to start the second instalment of the love story that is Eva and Bodhi. In book two we find them both in a very committed and loving relashionship.
They are still searching for answers with their friends who are a very close knit bunch.More family and friends are brought into their quest to find the truth.until they reach the conclusion with plenty of shocks along the way.
I absolutely loved loved this book and didn't want it to end. This beautiful love story is so sweet and touching that it felt so real and I was amazed at the author the very talented Sarah Forrester davies brought us these wonderful people.Highly Highly recommended x

I'm going to say it. The sequel was even better than the first. It picked up right where Confession left off, and so many of the questions I had at the end of the first were answered. And now there's even more questions. I LOVED the new characters and of course I still love Bodhi and Eva. I love how the author always leaves you with a little cliff hanger after each couple chapters. Always made me want to keep reading. I am serious when I say, I can totally see these books on Netflix. Definitely recommend if you've read the first!

Holy fucking shit.

Wow, is all I have to say. So many plot twists, so many unanswered questions answered, yet still more coming up.

This is the fastest I have ever read a book, this was so good. I rarely give out 5 stars, but this book deserves 10.

Mrs Sarah Forester Davis is the hurricane and I’m the devastation. I am happy to be destroyed by Sarah Forester Davis.

Can’t wait to read the Antidote next.

Brilliant sequel

A lot of twists and turns in this book, it definitely made me think lol. It was slow to begin with, the start where it picked up from the hospital took a lot of time but after that I flew through the book. The second half was brilliant and loved the ending. I really hope we get a third book.

Sarah Forester Davis hooked me with her writing and the intense passion between Bodhi and Eva. Confession captivated me and had me on the edge of my seat and gripping the blanket. I was so glad to hear there was a book 2. The sequel is just as good and just as intense- the passion between the couples and the action, suspense, and mystery. So so so good! ❤️

confession-breaking down a hurricane

This story is very complex written over several books.
I would have given 5 stars except for one oversight. The books were not written one immediately after the other. Some details in the previous books will be forgotten by the reader so a brief recap would be great.

4.5-5 stars | This story is an emotional roller coaster that I can’t get off of…there are parts of the novel that drag on, but other than those slow pages, I caught myself talking to myself out loud reacting to major secrets being revealed! Definitely recommend this series…on to the next (and final) one!😫🙊
/ just so you know there is mega steam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥that continues in the second book too!

Good series!

I liked the mysteries in this story. There were many things to try to figure out. It all came together nicely to make a sweet love story with a happy ending. Though there could and should be more to their story.

It wasn't the worst, it held my attention well enough but there was honestly too much going on for it to be believable, and Bodhi and Eva aren't super believable as soul mates. Book one was better. Hopefully book 3 is okay.

This series is very much like the Outer Banks show. Fun b it also terribly cringey. But I still like both haha idk if I’d recommend anyone read these bc there are points where the writing/story is ROUGH. But overall these are fun and a nice decompressing read after finishing tog again
