Supremely adorable! Soul-cleansing after several dog-blood novels!

The main couple is sweet as sweet can be, and (so rare!) supportive and communicative with each other. You won't run into any dog-blood drama here. Yet it's not slice-of-life, either. There is enough plot and pull to keep you going.

Rest your heart and mind, fellow readers, and put your feet up to enjoy this warm, cozy, and laugh out loud funny sometimes journey from childhood friends under very interesting circumstances to hold-your-hands-to-your-heart-while-watching-them soulmates.

The flowery moments have rendered me dead. With the exception of the opening few pages, where I anticipated metaphysical and mystical components, the remainder of the book is flawless.

The male protagonist is so endearing, dependable, and trustworthy. He most certainly belongs to the cerebral kind that knew from a young age what he wanted and that rushing causes waste. The female lead is athletic and a little naive, on the other hand.

There is nearly no miscommunication, save for 0.01% when the author created a scene that was just intended as a catalyst for the two characters to confess their affections to one another.

I applaud the author's efforts to maintain the lovely and honest, steady romance.

I truly admire the author's efforts in ensuring that the events such as kidnapping serves as a foundation for the great and pure, steady relationship between the male lead and the female lead. The majority of protagonist relationship arcs are clichéd. But because it occurred when they were younger, it seemed fresh to me.

There wasn't any instantaneous love. But the main characters actually demonstrate that the process of falling in love may be sped up by being present, making an effort to be felt by the other person, and vice versa.

Such books are my favorites. It gave me the impression that love may be sincere. Many problems may be avoided if you just take the time to communicate, listen, and get to know the other person.

So may you all who are reading this book review or the novel discover a true and lasting love.

A very sweet and wholesome romance between unlikely soulmates/childhood sweethearts. It starts off when the main couple, Lin Miao and young master Yu, are both 8 years old and continues to their adulthood. Their relationship is so beautiful and pure. The way they transition from close friends to lovers is seamless and natural. The way they respect, rely on and support each other is really the stuff of dreams. I especially love the scenes when they're getting to know each other in their childhood. The minus one star is because near the end, the story becomes more sped up and narrative. It's like the author was in a rush to complete it.
