Filled with twists and turns, the perfectly paced plot and exceptional writing moves the reader through the action with fluidity, gripping from the start. There is so much in this story, environmental catastrophe, bad government, rebellion & insurrection and a dramatic journey home with precious cargo that could save them all…and yet, it is a simple, wondrous adventure tale. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a dark, heavy-handed tome. It is filled with light, life and humour, finding amusing and entertaining moments among the unsettling. It is full of nuance, beauty and wonder...and bees. Clear, compassionate, heartfelt, warm and imaginative, and may just fire a few flights of fancy of your own. Which is exactly what we need in our world today Amazing…utterly amazing.
