Immortal Maestro

Rate this book
He wants to play her body like a symphony.
NOVA
Vincenzo was some sort of musical genius and apparently one of my parents’ closest friends. But as far as I was concerned he was a selfish jerk without a heart. An incredibly sexy, but completely infuriating, immortal a-hole. I was counting the days until I’d be free of his criticisms and no-nonsense attitude, even if his guidance did make my music better and his rare smiles made my heart leap. Who cared if my soul woke just being near him? Having a crush on the vampire who was my guardian was all kinds of wrong. Right?
VINCENZO
Nova was a complication I didn’t need and a brat through and through. Why her parents appointed me her guardian, I’ll never understand. She was a musical prodigy, content to squander her gift. I was determined to hone her skills. But she was equally determined to push my buttons, to tempt me to cross all my carefully constructed boundaries. For years, I’d been making decisions designed to keep her safe from the dangers of my life. Now, not only were they knocking on her door, but it also turned out I may be the biggest danger of all. Because she didn’t want me to just be her guardian and her teacher, she wanted me to be her maestro in every way.
She just might become the master of the maestro’s heart.

Such a lovely story that grows with each page you read.

Vincenzo Conti Vampire and Musical Maestro had 2 very gifted musicians in his symphony orchestra, they were dear friends of the Maestro's, very much in love and expecting their first child. Never in his wildest dreams could Vincenzo imagine that checking to see if Kimberly's unborn child was unharmed in her womb after a near fatal accident would merge their souls and change his immortal life 18 years later.

Nova is devasted by the death of her parents Kimberly and Stan in a car accident. It is worse when she learns that her life is being turned upside down. She is to move to California were she will live under the guardianship of the World Known Vincenzo Conti, friend to her parents, but more important he is a vampire until she is 18 in a few months... Nova is a very skilled violinist, but the Maestro will make her even better,he will show her that her music can move a crowd to tears. Her playig is magical Now he must fight the temptation that is Nova and if Nova must fight the temptation that is Vincenzo. How will this huge change in their lives affect them?

Lot's of intrigue, mystery and hot moments that will have you panting with naughty thoughts...A real page turner, will keep you glued to it till the end.

Oh My Gosh!!! This book was awesome! I loved the characters, the story, the heat, everything! If you like stories about forbidden love, heat, and vampires, I highly recommend this book.
Nova is left in the care of Vincenzo after her parents are involved in tragic incident. Nova wants nothing to do with her new home and just wants to get back to New York to be with her boyfriend and best friend, althoughshe is drawn to Vincenzo. Vincenzo wants to fulfill Nova's parents wishes to advance her skills on the violin but he is attracted to her. Through the story Vincenzo runs extremely hot and then cold with his affection to Nova. Throw in the fact that Nova's parents accident might not have been an accident and you will have a hard time putting this book down.
I did receive this as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving this review because I thought the book was awesome.

17 year old Nova loses both her parents in a car accident. They name an old friend of theirs as her guardian who also happens to be a vampire. When Nova first meets Vince, there is definitely some electricity sparking between them. But Vince believes he is too old for her, in human years he was 25 when he was turned. So Vince tries to keep his distance from her. They both end up being miserable without the other.
There's also suspicion that Nova's parents accident wasn't an accident but intentional. A few suspects come to mind for Vince when he learns of this.
Vince and Nova are too miserable without each other. Nova pushes Vince's buttons enough that he finally gives in to the pull between them. Warning: there is some minor BDSM involved.
I highly recommend this book.

WOW!! "Immortal Maestro" was the first book I've ever read by this author, but it certainly won't be my last!! ... I was blown away from the start by this hot, steamy, romantic PNR page-turner with a mystery and some suspense and a totally different & new storyline that I've never read before :) The attention-to-detail is amazing & pulls you right in so it feels like you're right there watching it all!! ... I never write spoilers or copy blurbs, but I was fortunate to be able to read this thru my Amazon KU trial subscription! I highly recommend this to adult fans of fiction and now I can't wait to read more from Ms. Rose!!

I received an ARC with no obligation and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love PNR but don't typically read Vampire novels so this was a bit different for me. I loved how it was set in a world we would recognize as if Vampires were accepted into society. I did have some qualms about the age differences seeing as though she was initially under-age however the romance waited until she was of age.

I enjoyed the back and forth between the characters and the alternate characters as well. I wish we could have seen a resolution for Chord but otherwise found the story wrapped up well.

I had never read anything by Charli B Rose before and this was quite eye-opening. The story, about a young ingenue and talented violinist and her guardian vampire maestro, was one of the most lyrical story I’ve read. And I’m not talking about the links to various music inspirations throughout the book. The prose was lyrical. The forward and backward motions to the relationship were lyrical. Just a moving story that had music on my mind throughout. It was very hard to put down.

I did receive this book as an ARC with no obligation and this is my honest review.

Where do I begin?
The detail of the music? The emotion from the characters? The suspense? The climax? The epilogue that kept on giving?
I needed a five star read and I never expected it would be a PNR. Read it and you won't be disappointed.

😁😁😁😁🥰

In my own inimitable style, I started this series with the second book... go figure. I have to say that it was in no way an issue. The story captured and held me hostage throughout!
Now back to book one. 😊

Poor poor Nova! I felt so bad for her having to uproot and leave everything behind to start a new life after the tragedy she had just went through. And OMG! It's been a while since I have found a character that I want to reach into the book and just shake like I wanted to do with Vincenzo!

4.5/5 ⭐️

Immortal Maestro is my first read by the new to me author Charli B. Rose. It tells the story of Vampire and Musical Maestro Vincenzo ‘Vince’ Conti and a musically gifted prodigy Nova Wright through dual POVs.

This PNR, Taboo, Age-Gap Romance story may lead to a heartbreaking tragedy. However the journey onwards from there sets up a path leading to growth and self discovery, whilst finding love with the person you least expect.

This book was the first of its kind that I have read, making it one of the reasons why I enjoyed it in the first place. And by that I mean the narrative alongside the characters had me interested, with Charli reeling me in as the story continued to develop.
There was just something about Vince and Nova that had me intrigued from the get go. The further I fell into their story, the more I couldn’t stop. It gave me what I enjoyed and liked in books with mysteries that lead to some suspenseful moments, considering the secrets that are hinted to throughout. The drama that comes from Nova’s life, as well as from Vince’s too considering his past. Plus the romance, whether it be the steaminess from the fiery heat. Or the cute, sweet and romantic moments that had me swooning.
As the story progressed, the narrative continued to grow considering everything that was going on from the little subplots that ultimately linked together leading to some shocking revelations.

While I admit there were a few times where the story did slow down a little much for my liking, from the narrative being stretched out more than it should’ve been. However in the snap of the fingers it managed to pick right up again, making me forget the feeling of the slow pace in the prolonged moments. Only to result in reeling me back into the narrative deeper and further then before.

Charli B. Rose did a great job bringing Vince and Nova's story to life, given all the details put into it making it feel real and genuine. Especially when it came to the music aspect of it all.
All in all I absolutely enjoyed reading Immortal Maestro with it being a great book overall!

Immortal Maestro is a story you wont want to put down.
The H is a moody vampire and the h is a prodigy with a violin.
He’s the one who fights the attraction most of the time. At the beginning it was understandable but after that he just needed to stop it and give in. Now let me just say that I liked the h, I do, but for me she needed to be a bit stronger and more independent especially with the H. The guy needed to grovel and I’m sorry but I didn’t see much of that going on.
I will say the connection between the H and h felt real. I knew they were meant to be together, it just took them some time to get there.
Overall this was a good book with great side characters. We got to see some familiar faces from the blood song trilogy and it made me want more.
I’m hoping we get books for Alexis, Chord and most of all Circe. They totally deserve their own HEA’s.

Happy Reading Everyone🤓

Vincenzo is a self-isolating vampire with an apathetic attitude about everything. Life has lost its luster. Music is the only thing that matters, and even that is meh. Keeping a promise from long lost friends, he becomes a guardian to Nova, a musical prodigy. He finds himself drawn to her music, her heart and soul. The story that transpires is a slow burn romance with a mystery which is very well written. A few familiar friends from other books show up as well to make this book that much sweeter. The author drives the story into an emotional crescendo that had me riveted.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I couldn't enough of Vincenzo and Nova. This is an amazing story that'll have you engrossed in it from start to finish. The suspense and mystery will have you turning those pages to find out what's coming next. The chemistry between the H and h is evident from the moment they meet. As this story unfolds, you'll see how their relationship forms and how the past connects these two. It's a read you don't want to miss it's that good.

This book is awesome! Very original and well written. Nova is a teenager with an amazing talent. She goes through a terrible tragedy and that's where Vincenzo, or Vin comes in. These two navigate a new reality while struggling with new emotions and grief. This paranormal romance was so entertaining. I loved the musical aspect, as with all of Charlie's books, the subject of music is a big part of the story. Great read!
I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book.
