Plot is there but also basically non-existent, not surprised since it's a very short read, and this was just a very self-indulgent read. Been consuming serious stuffs so I wanted something short and deprived. But this isn't even deprived, just a bit of a brainless read you can munch on without any effort. It's incest, with a shameless younger brother shou that is spoiled and lewd, and older brother gong that is stoic and doting. It's mediocre and bland, but I'm reading this on company time while my boss pays me a dime, so I don't really care. Finished this inside the police station while waiting for the receipts of our excavation permits, haha!
ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*) Edit: RTC... Currently inside the police station. LOL.
Wonderful smut and great couple chemistry. Not too much angst or tension, which was a nice surprise considering the summary.
I think the mc is pretty inconsiderate to his family considering his mother seems to love him. She might have been a bit scheming for a better life, and the ml certainly has reason to not like her, but the mc's dismissive attitude was pretty juvenile and inconsiderate.
Putting a the incest aside, I think this has some great bones. I just need reasons as to why I need to suspend my beliefs for an incestuous relationship. I think that there were a lot of avenues that we could’ve explored with both of the characters as to why this is a choice that they’re both making. would’ve loved to explore YY and her hatred of her stepson and how she schemed her way into this wealthy family, and why her own biological son turned her back on her and starts a relationship with his half sibling.

For a book about in*est, it was pretty boring. I think the main drawback for me was that the older brother was like a blank slate. We don't really know much about him or his feelings or the way they developed and he barely talked at all. Smut was included though!
Actually I was expecting something dark due to the incest (If I'm not mistaken they are half siblings?). I was ready, I swear. But turns out the story is quite sweet, if that makes sense. The older brother is silently attentive and the younger one is coquettish. Can be finished in one sitting, too.
