It’s been over 3 years since this was released, so I needed to brush up my memory 😅.
I’m still intrigued. We’ll see how books 2 and 3 are 👀

Whitney G could write the dictionary and I’d read it! This book was unlike any of the books I’ve read by her, and I. NEED. MORE!
Autumn’s (25?) married, but the love in their marriage is basically nonexistent. Her hubby, Nate, gaslights her and belittles her, especially when she confronts him when she catches him cheating on her with a barely-legal girl. His excuse? He pays all the bills while she works in a laughable job, she doesn’t have a college education like him, and he provides for her. What else could she want 😐. Ummm..: how about FIDELITY 🙄🤦🏻♀️😒.
As this is happening, she’s already encountered a sexy stranger, Ryder👀 (36? He’s 11 years older). This stranger wants her and makes her feel things she’s never felt before (she’s only been with her selfish hubby, so everything with this man is new to her). And, he’s gonna do whatever he needs to do to make her his.
He offers her a job that she somehow can’t say no to; I mean, why would she want to 💁🏻♀️👀 this man is fiiiiiiine 😉. The thing is that not everything is as it seems… and the darn cliffy has me wanting the next book NOOOOW!
The chemistry… oh LAWD…. The chemistry is good 🔥. Suuuure, they don’t have smexxx (yup, you read that right) in this book, but god dayummm it’s still so smexxy. Ryder commands her body like an instrument, and I loved the melody 😅 (btw, both of them are skilled in playing instruments 😉 and it shows lol). The first time he… um… watches her, he makes her to instruct her, and boy does he ever 🔥🥵💦.
I loved it!
I wish it was longer… but I was on the edge of my seat while reading. Gahhhh!
I also hope that her ex gets his comeuppance 😑. Like worse lol.

“Device fully charged… Device fully charged.” The platform where I was charging my vibrator announces my actual plan for the night, and my cheeks flush deep red. Ryder walks over and picks it up, rolling the pink cylinder across his palm. He looks over at me, a knowing smile spreading across his face. “Who were you planning to think about during this ‘personal matter?’” he asks.

I don’t answer. I’m too overwhelmed by the feel of his tongue taming mine, too turned on by the hand he’s sliding under my dress. “Ahhh…” I suck in a breath as his cock hardens against my thigh.
Pushing my soaking wet panties to the side, he whispers his command again, “Do I need to repeat myself, Autumn?”
I loved it!

Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the first installment in the "Wasted Love" series and ends on a cliffhanger. I liked both Autumn and Ryder. I don’t know what’s going on with Ryder and don’t believe he’s a mob. Actually, I don’t know anything about Ryder. This book left me with so many questions, all about Ryder, his past, and in general who he really is. Autumn is fun and smart but not smart enough to figure Ryder out, YET. I loved their banter and it made me smile a few times. All in all, I had fun reading it and hope you enjoy it as well!

Oh my gosh, this book ensnared me from the beginning, then left me gasping for more when I hit that cliffhanger.
While I was cheering for Autumn the whole way, it was the mysterious Mister R that had my full attention. Each step of the way this author shared a tiny morsel here then a tiny morsel there. One moment I was sure I knew who and what he was only to question my prediction within a few pages. The dark mystic that surrounded him pulled me further into the story and refused to let me go.

Autumn got caught up in young love when she was 18 and her boyfriend was finishing college, it was a whirlwind romance that had them married before too long. Autumn’s family were completely against the marriage and are pretty much waiting for the day to say - I told you so when their prediction of it ending comes true.
In the beginning it was fun and exciting. However, Autumn is so freaking bored and no longer in love with Nate. The fun and passion has gone from their relationship and faking orgasms has gotten just plain tiresome. She has to find a way out of this boring life. When she discovers that Nate has secrets of his own, it is the opportunity she needs to file for divorce and slam the door on their relationship. However, she underestimated how much of an arsehole he really was.
On the night she discovers Nate’s secrets she crosses paths with an enigmatic man who completely ruffles her. She feels drawn to him but he also screams danger. When Ryder offers to help her out of her nasty divorce issues, desperate times call for desperate measures. Little did she know this would be just the beginning of the most crazy experience of her life. Her instinct to stay away from him is fighting with all the endorphins she gets whenever she is near him. One thing is clear, she probably doesn’t really want to know who Ryder truly is.
There are several occasions that Autumn feels compelled to run away from Ryder as fast she can but he always seems to be one step ahead of her. What the hell has she got herself into?
This was originally written as an online serial but has now been published as a whole story. It is still told in episodes in the book form though. I am eagerly awaiting the next part to this story as Autumn finds herself completely out of her depth at the end of this first part. A very different read from Whitney G.

What the heck is going on???
A question I’ve been asking myself over and over again while reading this book. Not to forget the other important question: “Who the heck is this guy??”
I am super impressed. This is like nothing Whitney G. has ever written. I didn't understand what was going on half the time but hell the suspense was killing me and I swear this book had me constantly at the edge of my seat.
Let’s talk about the psycho husband who was already in a league of his own but then the hero comes who’s basically top dog which made the whole thing they were playing even more exciting. Throw in the mystery surrounding the hero and you have a fantastic story. I absolutely loved it!
The heroine, Autumn, is probably my favorite Whitney G. heroine so far. Sure, she has her weak moments where she can’t resist the hero but she is still able to think rationally once outside of his immediate reach, thinks fast and immediately takes action. I love her!
I can’t wait to find out what Kylie has found out about Mister R. Also that little nugget at the end? I’m super intrigued. It brings a new aspect and dynamic to the H’s character which I can’t wait to read more about!

Got sucked in reading this free online serial by Whitney G, "Wasted Love, With You" in one damn sitting last night!
Mysterious, angsty, steamy and merrily bonkers! It's over the top but the best kind.
It's not quite dark, but the hero is ambiguous enough that people think him a mafia boss, the mob, Satan himself or a vampire. He could very well be all/any aforementioned and I'd be alright with it! What he is for sure is magnificent.
I'm anxiously waiting to read more Autumn and Mister R in season 2!

I just went into this blind. I wasn’t expecting anything remarkable. Just passing time.
But...
I was HOOKED.
My review may contain spoiler, though I have added the spoiler tags and hid the spoilers where needed. But still it may contain spoiler.
Though, I would suggest to go blind with this.
The h is in a marriage with an asshole. She married him at 18. He is her first and she hasn’t had any physical relationship with anyone else. She is not educated much because of course she married young. She is kinda living the trophy wife life. But lately her life has become boring. Her husband is boring.
And when she catches him cheating, it’s the last straw. She wants divorce. But he is kinda known personality and hence he is making it hard for her to divorce him. He pulls strings so she doesn’t get any job. He even has her move out of her hotel room.
As all of this is happening, the h meets a man. A stranger. He is mysterious. Dangerous. He offers her a job . But when she comes to his estate for the interview, no taxi driver is ready to take her there. All are scared. She tries to google him but there’s no info. When she tries to ask people about him, everyone just runs away.
Anyways, as she is literally stuck with no options she lets the H help her with the divorce. And gives her the job even though she is not interested.
So who is he ? Mafia? Vampire? Satan?
Trust me by the end I really was desperate to know.
But I was engrossed. I enjoyed the suspense. It’s a long since I read such book.
And I would definitely recommend. Just for the thrill.

This is the first book in the Wasted Love trilogy from Whitney G. It was originally released as a serial, but has now been compiled into one story, and I’m honestly not sure what to think. Promoted as an erotic suspense, the sex is almost non-existent, and I felt no suspense, just more confusion and disbelief at what was going on. But let’s go back to the beginning…
Autumn is stuck in a marriage that is going nowhere, and she is desperate to escape but having difficulty legally disentangling herself from her husband. A run in with a mystery man adds even more confusion to her life when she experiences insta-lust like never before, and he tells her that he can help her. But who is ‘Mister R’? He’s a man who can get her hormones churning like nobody else, who declares her intention to have her, and who can apparently speed-track a divorce.
And when he offers her a job, the mysteries just keep piling up… just like their lust for each other.
It’s an interesting premise, but for a whole lot of reasons this book sadly didn’t work for me. The characters are irritating and annoyingly cliched, and felt really one-dimensional, and I could not connect with them. Autumn seems really juvenile and makes some really questionable decisions, her ex is like the caricature bad-guy husband (rich, controlling, cold and a cheater), and our antihero, ‘Mister R’ is set up as this complete enigma – ruthless, powerful, and a complete sex god, with a confusing obsession with the heroine. We are led to believe he may be in the mob, but that doesn’t explain all of the danger and mystery surrounding him and there are still a lot of questions about who he is and what he does.
The set up for a love story is there and we get to see a hint of steamy time between these two which leads me to believe things are going to get really hot and kinky in the following books. And though I can feel the chemistry between them and their mad lust, there’s so much about this ‘relationship’ that confuses me. Mostly… why? What is with the mad and sudden obsession? There are clues that there is more to the story than what we’ve been given, the question is whether I care enough to read more books to find out?

Well, that was intriguing and unexpected and and and, honestly, impressive. I’ve said this before about Whitney’s work and it still stands. She can write the heck out of a full-length story. I’m not her biggest fan of her novellas, but every single full-length I have read has been incredible in its own way.
This story has a pulse. I wasn’t quite sure what exactly was happening as it was happening for a good portion and that’s not a bad thing. That’s the intriguing part. The unexpected comes in with every turn of the page lol I mean I know what I’m reading, but do I? I felt like I was in the story as Autumn while I read it. That’s the impressive part as well. I have no idea where this story is going. I have no idea what turn it will take or even who anyone is for that matter LOL but I do know that I am quite taken by it and I want to read Season 2 like right now!

Wow! This was unexpected, mysterious, sexy and I want more!
Autumn is married to a jerk and when she wants out, she meets Mr. R and just wow... the roller coaster of emotions and mystery kept me glued to the pages and I wanted to know what was going to happen next! But that cliff??!!! Omgggg when will the next installment be out?! I’m a huge fan of Whitney G and I love how she always makes me love the heroes we aren’t really supposed to love.

Look I am all about hyping up your H to be this enigma, a larger than life walking box of pandora. But...the problem arises when the hype doesn't live up to the expectations. And that happens almost every time than it doesn't. So while I enjoyed this building up of Mr. R, I am not sure I would like where it is leading up to. I mean I hope I do 🤞
Only when I read over 50% and checked the reviews, I realised that it was earlier serialised by the author. Anyway, it still felt a little short and skippy. Sometimes read like a 0.5 of a series.
P.S - I've read so many mafia themed books but it was the first time I read that mob and mafia are different.

My oh my! This story got me completely hooked since page one and I finished the book in one sitting because I just couldn't stop reading!
Wasted Love with you is the first book in the new serial and I'm dying to read book 2!
This story was deliciously addicting, steamy, twisty, angsty and mysterious that will keep you guessing all the way until the very end. Well, I'm still guessing because the story ends on a cliffhanger 😭
Autumn is one bad*ss heroine and I really loved her. She's smart and funny and I loved their witty banter.
I'm so intrigued by Mister R or Ryder. He's so mysterious that some people think he's part of the mafia, others think he's part of the mob. Some people even think he is Satan himself.
I just think that he's so hot and absolutely irresistible and I could work for him anytime with no problems 😂😏

This CLIFFHANGER!!! I love going into Whitney G books blind and I love even more that she is doing more romantic suspense. It is my favorite genre! This book was such a quick read, I flew through the pages because I needed to know what was happening.. only to be left on a cliff, dangling. I felt for Autumn, so much. She was so strong, even with her sleezy ex making life near impossible for her.
I love the nod to Jane Eyre and I can't wait to see where this goes!

I read this originally on the author's website when it was available for free on there as she released each episode. She's now gathered all the episodes together into one season and it's just as infectious as it was when she released them episode by episode on her website.
Wasted Love With You is the start of Whitney's episodic series, Wasted Love. If you've never read an episodic story before, it's written in episodes and seasons. Each book will be a season filled with many episodes as each season plays out over specific period of time. It's comparable to a dramatic TV show and you will find yourself devouring the entire season in one sitting.
Readers are pulled into the dramatic plot right from the start. Autumn is in a very unhappy marriage and she finds herself struggling to get away. Mister R is as mysterious as they come. I have so many questions running through my brain and I cannot wait to find out what happens after that bomb drop at the end.

Wasted Love With You is book crack! I literally could not put it down! I am 100% invested in these characters and I NEED answers NOW!!! I was flying three the pages trying to put the puzzle pieces together.
Who are you E.R.?!?! I need to know the connection!! Autumn is feisty and hysterical. Love both characters so much. The banter and the chemistry is off which Whitney always delivers in spades in each and every one of her books!!

What is this Whitney? Why is this so badly written? Compared to your book about the Pilot Jak and the both sexy and funny flight attendant this is (sorry) shit. I'm not saying this to be mean but this book is badly written. Where is the author I know? I don't see her in this book. It feels as if someone else had taken your name and put it on a shitty book. Please go back to writing books PERFECTLY, not just for the money's sake, thank you very much!

There were so many questions, I wanted to roar! Yes, roar when I got to the end. I disliked Autumn’s husband and everything he was and did to her, which was the intent. And with Ryder—did I trust him? Should I trust him? And then we find something out—AHHH!!! This is what Whitney G does.
But Book 2, Fated Love with You, delivers more than I anticipated. Who am I kidding? I didn’t even know what to expect. And that is what I loved. Autumn’s role, and how her character developed and unpacked more, but still not enough.
Along with Ryder’s back story. I need more. Fortunately, I won’t have to wait long. Book 3, Awaited with You, will be released on August 11th. I know what I’ll be doing.

Realizing years of marriage isn’t what she envisioned, Autumn is having epiphanies and her husband is not making anything easy. NOTHING. I wanted to crawl in the book and kick his ass so bad! While she is navigating her almost new life, a mysterious man keeps popping up in her life and he knows everything about her. Both main characters are very likeable and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them! The story is intriguing, mysterious, sexy, and I just need the next book ASAP! I’m sure WG will tie it all together nicely.

A little bit of a different storyline than the usual by Whitney G, but just as enjoyable and engaging of a read. Autumn was young and impressionable when she got married, but a few years later, she's discovering more about who she is and what she wants as an individual, and it is not her current husband. As she begins to make strides towards being single again, she's confronted by several roadblocks by her soon-to-be-ex Nate as well as an intriguing and sexy new man who goes by Mister R. I loved the moxie attitude of Autumn, where she didn't let anyone get the last laugh on her and refused to be discouraged in any way. Even with Mister R trailing after her, Autumn stood her ground, although she secretly likes the way he pursues her. There's mysterious elements woven in, like who is Mister R and why do people shiver in fear around him and how does he know so much about Autumn. I am definitely interested in hearing more about him as questions get answered in the next installments. While I could predict that little reveal at the end, it also solidifies that Mister R is not all that he seems on the outside. Although not a dark story, the elements are slightly darker than this author's typical writing, but the heat and humorous snark still remains. Between Mister R's sinister and irresistible nature mixed with Autumn's guile and sweet manner, they are fireworks waiting to explode.

This was so incredible and unputdownable story.

Age-gap/steamy/funny/dramatic at times/thrilling and oh so explosive.
We actually don't know who Ryder is other than a mysterious, handsome, rich „Chris Hemsworth“ copy, Satan himself.
Autumn is one hell of a woman, smart, intelligent, beautiful, sassy, and with a mind of her own. Yes!
After 6 years of marriage (married at 18) she wants a divorce. She doesn't love her husband anymore.
It turns out that her loving husband is not so loving but a psycho who wants her by any term.
In the middle of this marriage/divorce battle, Mister R appears with all his devilish glory.
And we have an amazing plot that keeps you attached to the book till the end.
Should I say he's 11 years older than Autumn.

Our flame burned out a long time ago, leaving two severely scorched hearts in its wake. No matter how many times I try to convince myself that a stray ember will soon catch fire, that the old sparks will return someday, the coldness remains.”
This book made me feel all the feels and I mean all of them!
I laughed, I cried, I wanted to slap Nate and maybe, just maybe strangle him… a little. I got angry and scared for our heroine and I felt a whole lot of doubt about Ryder… and then I got really mad when I saw this book ended in a major CLIFFHANGER and I had no idea when the next book is coming! Miss Whitney can you please release the rest of the trilogy in like, TODAY! My poor heart can’t take this.
“He speeds up his thrusts, gripping my breasts like he’s attempting to yank them off my body. His kisses are erratic and wet, and I have no idea why he’s using his tongue to lick my chin.”
Miss Whitney always knows how to deliver her sassy, witty humor!
So props to her for that.
I have to say that throughout the years she has improved and grown a lot as an author. Her books are better structured, her stories are more and more captivating and all consuming, the plots are absolutely delicious! But still to this day what I love most about her is her humor!

Also if you’re completely out, thinking about anything and everything while your man is on top of you seemingly having the time of his life… it’s time to pack baby. That shit ain’t gonna work!

So Autumn Taylor, né Jane, is a 24 year old house wife, that is completely fed up with her marriage and her life.
She got married fresh out of high school to Nathaniel Taylor, who was already graduated from college. So he was older than her, by a few years.
Autumn and Nate’s married life is boring and the flame has extinguished a long time ago. Only that fact only seems to bother Autumn. Nate is completely content with their marriage and even wants to take the next step.
I have to say in the first few pages I asked myself if that distancing, that coldness that she felt was all in her head. Maybe she did need something more to her life to make her happier, like a job or a hobby or even people she could call friends… but as the story progresses we can see that it wasn’t all in her head at all. That man was a bastard and a complete douch!
When they had their final confrontation in the kitchen I wanted to strangle Nate so bad I felt it physically. Also throughout their divorce. The things he did… thought it add to the story it was hard for me to read. Probably because a dear friend of mine went through something similar in real life and the pain is still fresh.
“I would never ignore you if you called me,” he says. “And if you ever sent me a text, I wouldn’t let too much time pass before returning it.”
“Well, I’m not the second coming of Satan, a potential vampire, or a criminal mob boss, so my priorities are a bit different from yours.”
While Autumn is trying to figure out her life and marriage she comes face to face with the enigmatic and very mysterious Mister R - Edward Rochester aka Ryder.
Their first encounter is so funny… why Autumn?
That was a very strange way to decompress and feel alive.
Their second encounter is even more weird and lets to many questions open. Ate least for Autumn.
Ryder is an enigma through the majority of the book.
Who is he? What’s is name? What does he do? Why do people fear him so much? And how does he seem to know Autumn so well?
“I think you should go to bed now,” he says.
“I can’t. I need to return my neighbor’s license plate first.”
“You need to do what?” He raises his eyebrow.
“My car isn’t legally registered yet, so I borrowed his plate to drive without the worry of getting pulled over.”
He looks half-amused, half-disturbed. “And you’re worried about me being potentially dangerous?”
“You’re far past ‘potentially.’”
“I’ve never stolen anything.”
It’s weird to me that he seems to love her but offers her a job without fully explaining what it entails or the consequences that come with it…
Also why the hell did he not tell her? I get it that the author wanted to keep things interesting and keep the suspense going but… well he could’ve told her. Also I was expecting everything but that!
“Then maybe we shouldn’t work together at all,” I say, trying to control the conversation. “I’ve heard that you shouldn’t mix business with pleasure anyway.”
“I haven’t fucked you yet,” he says. “And the only people who believe that lie are incapable of multi-tasking.”
I liked this book a lot.
I read it in one sitting and could not put it down. I wish I had the rest of the books so I could devour the whole story…
Like I said there are some parts that for me were difficult to read due to personal experience and some others that, tho I understand why the author did it (to create suspense) it doesn’t make much sense to me that Ryder had acted that way.

Also if you’re completely out, thinking about anything and everything while your man is on top of you seemingly having the time of his life… it’s time to pack baby. That shit ain’t gonna work!

So Autumn Taylor, né Jane, is a 24 year old house wife, that is completely fed up with her marriage and her life.
She got married fresh out of high school to Nathaniel Taylor, who was already graduated from college. So he was older than her, by a few years.
Autumn and Nate’s married life is boring and the flame has extinguished a long time ago. Only that fact only seems to bother Autumn. Nate is completely content with their marriage and even wants to take the next step.
I have to say in the first few pages I asked myself if that distancing, that coldness that she felt was all in her head. Maybe she did need something more to her life to make her happier, like a job or a hobby or even people she could call friends… but as the story progresses we can see that it wasn’t all in her head at all. That man was a bastard and a complete douch!
When they had their final confrontation in the kitchen I wanted to strangle Nate so bad I felt it physically. Also throughout their divorce. The things he did… thought it add to the story it was hard for me to read. Probably because a dear friend of mine went through something similar in real life and the pain is still fresh.
“I would never ignore you if you called me,” he says. “And if you ever sent me a text, I wouldn’t let too much time pass before returning it.”
“Well, I’m not the second coming of Satan, a potential vampire, or a criminal mob boss, so my priorities are a bit different from yours.”
While Autumn is trying to figure out her life and marriage she comes face to face with the enigmatic and very mysterious Mister R - Edward Rochester aka Ryder.
Their first encounter is so funny… why Autumn?
That was a very strange way to decompress and feel alive.
Their second encounter is even more weird and lets to many questions open. Ate least for Autumn.
Ryder is an enigma through the majority of the book.
Who is he? What’s is name? What does he do? Why do people fear him so much? And how does he seem to know Autumn so well?
“I think you should go to bed now,” he says.
“I can’t. I need to return my neighbor’s license plate first.”
“You need to do what?” He raises his eyebrow.
“My car isn’t legally registered yet, so I borrowed his plate to drive without the worry of getting pulled over.”
He looks half-amused, half-disturbed. “And you’re worried about me being potentially dangerous?”
“You’re far past ‘potentially.’”
“I’ve never stolen anything.”
It’s weird to me that he seems to love her but offers her a job without fully explaining what it entails or the consequences that come with it…
Also why the hell did he not tell her? I get it that the author wanted to keep things interesting and keep the suspense going but… well he could’ve told her. Also I was expecting everything but that!
“Then maybe we shouldn’t work together at all,” I say, trying to control the conversation. “I’ve heard that you shouldn’t mix business with pleasure anyway.”
“I haven’t fucked you yet,” he says. “And the only people who believe that lie are incapable of multi-tasking.”
I liked this book a lot.
I read it in one sitting and could not put it down. I wish I had the rest of the books so I could devour the whole story…
Like I said there are some parts that for me were difficult to read due to personal experience and some others that, tho I understand why the author did it (to create suspense) it doesn’t make much sense to me that Ryder had acted that way.
