I was now the Prez. Keeping this club going was up to me. Finding out who was tarnishing this town now fell onto my shoulders and I was ready to take it on. However, that was just the first change that completely restructured my life. An opportunity came, and I took it. It may not have been the best way to handle it, but I knew I needed to get what I wanted. What I wanted was her. Bri. The woman that knocked me on my ass and made me see what it is to be loved—the woman who would give me everything in this life. But life had other plans. It broke me, and when you don’t know how to handle that pain, what more can you do? I’ve made my mistakes. I’ve paid for them. Starting now, I will be the man I was made to be—the man that Bri fell in love with and the man that will keep this club going. After all, you can’t find the monster that’s hiding in the shadows if you stay broken
Michele Lee isn't a "she," but a "we." Ashton (Michele) and Brittany (Lee) make up this writing duo.
We met via a readers group, and instantly connected via the books we love to read. It didn't take long to form a friendship, and learn that we were both writing our own stories. After sharing our work with each other, we learned we have the same writing style, and decided to come together for a whole new story.
Four years later, we continue our writing journey together. We have multiple storylines in the works, and can't wait to see all those words hit the paper.
We're a duo who have only meant once in real life, but have found our best friend within each other.
Cowboy was happy even though he knew there would be more responsibilities as the club's Prez. He had a wife and a daughter. But when tragedy struck he walked away from all his responsibilities. His wife. His family. His club. Bri was devastated when Cowboy left. No word for months. Didn't he realize that she was hurting as much as him? Both lost and broken. With the help of momma El and the other women she struggled to put on a happy face. She had to be stronger. Cowboy and Bri's journey was heartbreaking. Their story is full of pain, regret, redemption, love, forgiveness as well as steamy scenes.
Things should be rolling smooth. Cowboy now sets at the helm as Perz. He soon finds out that his troubles are not going anywhere. They're only beginning.
While sifting through applications to find someone to help his mom with the foster children, he finds out the meaning of the phrase "love at first sight. " Bri has his heart instantly, just from a picture.
Bri hasn't had an easy life. So much tragedy has her wanting to start her life over. When the confirmation comes in that she has the job at the Faulkner Family Ranch, she believes it's the chance that she needs.
Things are looking great, but leave it to life to always throw that perfect curve ball. It causes the core to implode, and life will never be the same. The only thing to do is run, or stand and fight.
When you fly high, you must come down. It's whether you have the courage to get back up or lay there. Oh, this one has so much that will keep you up for hours. This one broke me, but the beauty is in the struggle.
I felt like I was in the middle of it with the characters. A lot of the story really hit home and rang true. I can't imagine what these two have in store for the future, but I'm here for it!
Wow,wow, wow! Cowboy was hard to read...but for all the right reasons! It was full of heartache,angst,sorrow,stubbornness...but then on the other side of the coin of the lives of Cowboy and Bri...there was so much love between the two of them that was plainfully obvious to see from early on. Interference from others led to Cowboy using an online dating website, and things developed from there. Devastating incidents occurred and it made Cowboy think twice about everything, his life, his love for his Bri,even the club, but when it comes down to it,the Nameless Order stick together through thick and thin...despite their troubles, the strife, they get each other through everything. Tissues aplenty are needed for this stunning second book from Michele Lee,and I can't wait for the next! Good job ladies!!!!
Cowboy and Bri's love story is one that I will definitely reread many times. I went through so many emotions while reading this book. While I could understand Cowboy's despair and heartache he definitely handled it all wrong. But to me, that just made him even more real. And he more than paid the price for his poor decisions. While I wanted to smack him more than once I mostly wanted to hug him.
Bri....now Bri is the type of woman a lot of strive to be like. When life gets to be too much and you just want to pull the covers over your head and sleep until it's all over, Bri pulled herself up and pushed through the pain. You've got to admire a woman like Bri. I love that we had all her moments, the raw pain, the heartache, the love...my god the love she has for Cowboy and her new family was everything for her.
Throughout their pain, struggles, heartache and despair, Cowboy and Bri never gave up on each other. While they had to fight their way through it all and at times fight alone, one thing remained constant....they truly, unequivocally loved each other!
This is the 2nd book in this incredible series. Cowboy has taken over from his dad as President, and he has his work cut out for him as he has big shoes to fill. When he sees an application form for someone to help his mom, he knows instantly that Bri will be his. When tragedy strikes, Cowboy walks away from Bri, his family, and all his club responsibilities, leading Bri devastated, and they are both broken and lost, but Cowboy disappears without a word for months, and El and the other ladies are there to help a struggling Bri, who knows she needs to become stronger. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, and a emotional roller coaster, with family, loyalty, pain, redemption, forgiveness, healing, regrets, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy riveting page turner.
It is hard to choose who suffered the worst loss. This is a full box of tissues read but as the forward by the author guarantees it is a love story and you know the rules about the end.
Luckily both of them have the best of besties. Neither would have signed up on a dating app so those besties did what they knew was needed and did it for them.
One look was all Cowboy needed. He'd always wanted what his parents (stepdad & mom) have but didn't think he'd get it. He had enough on his plate, the new Prez of the MC, the town they helped keep clean and safe but now a new drug was killing people, and the foster program run by his mother and dad.
One look and he knew the new hire to help his mom was gonna be his. He had another personal issue or two but nothing was gonna stand in his way. She on the other hand didn't trust men with good reason. Somehow Cowboy seems different. One sweet little girl helped change her mind.
Life wasn't going to be easy for them and getting together, well, staying that way is going to be even harder. Are they strong enough to make it? Is life going to cheat them of what they both crave besides each other?
The characters are amazing. These guys are alike yet different from your typical MC brothers. Be prepared for the pain and so many other emotions for the couple but the rest of them as well--including you the reader.
I have two reasons this is not a 5-star rating--one more go through with an editor--and Cowboy disappointed us all but.., don't worry ... remember the promise.
Cowboy wants love in his life like his Mom and Judge have. He comes across Bri and he knows she is the one, he only has to convince her of that. This story ripped my heart out and I had it literally had me sobbing. Great story and I can't wait to read Dizz's story.
After being voted in as the President of the Nameless Order MC Cowboy has his work cut out for him. He has big shoes to follow as the son of the founding president, and the first order of business is to find the source of the drugs being spread around town causing overdoses and deaths. What he doesn’t expect is to find the love of his life and then to have his entire world shattered in the blink of an eye. Cowboy has hit rock bottom and now has to claw his way back to his life and his love before he loses it all.
Overall I enjoyed the storyline, it gets pretty dark at times, but those dark times are necessary to the overall story. I do think some of the scenes could have been written better so they weren’t so harsh and yet are still able to convey the same emotional pull.
I did read “Judge” first and almost DNF, but found I was invested in the storyline enough to push through. I state that because I wanted to point out the improvement in the writing from the first book to the second, it is not as choppy and disorganized. I am enjoying the character development of the other MC members throughout the first two books and already have my favorites. I can’t wait to read their stories!
Not what I was expecting, but that makes it even better. Cowboy and Bri- Wow.
I love when what I am reading weighs on my soul. When it leaves you feeling more than you thought was possible from written words. This is Cowboy. And this is the Nameless Order MC.
Kindle dropping shocking. Frustrating. Overwhelming. Completely lovable couple. Another wild chapter as we learn more about the Nameless Order MC. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite MC families. They are real. They are human. They are the Nameless Order.
Cowboy frustrated me, and then his family broke me. Why couldn’t they see what was right in front of them? I cried in frustration for him and ranted about his family.
The love between Cowboy and Bri- WOW! One of the best couples, ever!!
This story pulls all the punches. It is heartbreaking, deep, loving, and a great example of overcoming obstacles and growing up.
We meet Cowboy in Judge. He is the new Prez of the Nameless order but he hasnt really had anything traumatic happen to him. He shows so much growth in this story that helps him truly earn his place as President.
However, this growth wrecked me as the reader, I was broken in ways I have not been with any other book Ive read. It was all worth it and the way this story unfolds is beautiful.
Michelle Lee shows their talent with storytelling and writing with this story. They are a force to be reckoned with. I cant wait for more of the Nameless MC.
This co writing duo are really finding their stride now. Judge was good but this book will rip every emotion and feeling out of you with a jagged rusty knife that probably belongs to Butcher. While some parts may heal, they will never be the same again. This black soul has no triggers, but prepare yourself, this book is hard to read for many different reasons. Trust the process. Believe me it'll be hard to do so at times, as there were times I definitely didn't understand why the characters were acting the way they were, but unless we are ever in their shoes (which I hope is never the case), we'll never truly understand. Can't wait to see what the authors put the characters through next.
Second book in the Nameless Order MC. Bri is heartbroken. She lost her son to her abusing ex husband. Her best friends sets her up in a dating app. Cowboy answers it and sparks are set. One mistake and cowboy is set back. She looking for a job , something new. Cowboy brings her in town and the lies comedown. Club $lut claims his a new daddy. Drama comes down with it. A horrible accident happens and his lost and walks away, from his responsibility’s and his ol lady too. But the love and patience of bri brings him back home to claim his ol lady and his patch. Heartbreaking story with an epic ending. You won’t be disappointed.
Not going to lie the started out slow for me but I was really glad I continued reading. Cowboy is the President of the MC, who has more troubles than he can handle. The town has a drug problem and they are trying to find the solution. Bri has had a tragic life but she is trying to overcome losing a son. She gets the job that could just help her start over. Bri and Cowboy meet and for him it's love at first sight. They have a lot of mountains to climb to make it work. There is so much to this book but I will say it is so worth the read. Bring your tissues you will need them. I laughed, I cried but in the end it was all so worth it!!!
I am really enjoying this series. I love Cowboy and Bri and their story and boy it was a hard and agonizing story. I so wanted to wring Cowboy's neck on more than one occasion, but when he loved he loved with all of his heart. I loved that no matter what Bri went through she picked herself up and kept going. This was a really hard book to read but loved the hea. I would never have known by reading this book that it was written by two authors. These two did a fantastic job with this book. I loved it. Definitely recommend this book.
A great way to continue The Nameless Order MC Series ~ Jamie's Jivin' Book Blog ~
The story had a lot of meat to it, gave us the back story and continued where the first book ended. It will pull at your heart strings and it is so full of hot steamy scenes... I had to stop a few times to cool down before I could finish the book.
A great read and can not wait to continue reading the series
New authors to me but in all honesty was disappointed in the book. Characters were not at all charismatic or exciting and I struggled with a prez acting as Jonathon did and his family allowing it. Felt cramped with death, injury and always something going wrong.
Another 5 star review for Michele Lee in the fantastic series of The Nameless Order motorcycle club. This is Bri's and Cowboys story. Once you get into their story you won't be able to put the book down.
Kept me up past my bed time again. Look these ones are worth lost sleep 😴. Their stories are deep and interesting their trials worthy. Grab the series but pace yourself or you'll be a zombie due to lack of sleep.
4* Cowboy meets Bri on line after her friend Ash convinced her to live again. Ash has had a terrible trauma but knows she needs to help others. Convincing Bri to take a job helping children at a ranch he keeps his identity secret only for it to backfire some.
It was like an emotional roller coaster ride. These characters go through so much together, and apart. So make sure to have tissues at hand. This story really pulls at the heartstrings.
I do suggest reading Judge first, as these just flow together. In the previous story, Cowboy was promoted to Pres, and even though he was a bit unsure at first, he figured it out pretty quickly. When Dizz decides to help Cowboy out by signing him up for online dating, Cowboy is of course not thrilled, until he sees Bri, everything stops.
Bri hasn't had an easy go of it, her past has left her a shell of her former self and this online dating thing isn't even her idea. But her bestie is looking out for her and makes her an account and even pushes her to send a message. Is Bri even capable of trusting someone again? Capable of giving that much of herself to someone? Can Cowboy convince her he is worth the effort?
This story was brutal, there are parts of this story that absolutely broke me and had me on the edge of not finishing. But the authors have a warning before you even start saying to trust them, so I did. I am glad I pushed through and finished, but Bri and Johnny/Cowboy's journey was not an easy one. This didn't feel choppy like the first story and flowed quite nicely. I give this 4 stars.
So I knew book 1 was a debut novel so I overlooked ALOT of editing that was missed.. authors learn as they go but this one was a HOT MESS… This duo needs to spend the money they’re spending on professional model covers ON EDITING instead. The story had potential but after two books this way , it’s sad to say I won’t be reading another one….
