Another steamy, smexy read with Eve and Nick. This time around, they’ve got some serious issues to work out. Eve made Nick work to get back to where they were, and he definitely does a stellar job of it. I loved how his final push to win her wasn’t what most would assume, but absolutely the most perfect thing to win this heroine.
This is a fast read and, along with the previous books in the series, is perfect if you like hot, sizzling, scenes where just about anything goes. No epilogue yet, but we’ve got another jaw dropping cliffhanger.
Jessa has your head spinning with this book. A Billion Lies starts off with Eve meeting Nick's wife and her leaving Nick. He does everything to get her to talk but it takes a long time. He is still treating her like a queen and after a steamy vacation in Italy visiting Stefan and his brother Carlo.
Just as you think things are going to work for Eve and Nick, Jessa stops your heart from beating. I'm praying the cliffhanger is a lie. I was about to throw my device across the room because this cliffhanger was just too much to take. Jessa I love your writing, characters and storylines but my heart can't take it.
NOOOOOOOI! Tell me it isn’t so! That’s all there is to it. This MUST be a lie. And it’s not the lie you’re thinking, either. Get ready for the heartbreak ahead, folks.
So Eve has a lot to think through now. Is Nick a liar? Is he a cheat? Is this woman full of it? Just like everything else that feels a tad uncomfortable, a tad realistic, and a lot steamy, Eve and Nick have a lot to discuss. Add in a throughly unexpected jaunt to Italy and some teasing secrets, the revelation that a closed party is the future, and someone who appears to be ghosting Eve, and I was hooked from page one though the very last word. And I NEED to know more. I really hope someone is lying because there’s so much more coming our way that has made me wonder about someone’s loyalty that it wouldn’t surprise me. Either way, I’m here for whatever comes next. I have to be. Because I need answers!
A billion lies picks up where the last cliffhanger left off. Eve is starting to question the trust she's placed in Nick's hands. On his side he's working overtime to get her to talk to him after she finds out a massive secret. Luckily they do eventually reach a resolution and attend a super steamy vacation to Italy to meet an old friend and his brother. It's definitely a trip not to be forgotten. This is a series with a few more books to come so it does end in a big cliffhanger.
I can't even... Where on earth do I start with this..
Usually book series decline in quality but the Rosetti Crime Family series gets better and better with each book. I have one huge criticism of the series though. They're too short! I need more.
Just when I think that these books have reached the limit of spiciness, they surpass expectations. The lovely Stefan makes an appearance again which was very welcome. We are also introduced to his brother who steals the show.
These books make me feel like I'm watching a soap opera. The drama from these characters!! I love it!
Jessa gets me every single time with her endings.. I don't know how much more "oh my gosh nooo!!" I can take haha. I have no idea how Eve and Nick are going to deal with the latest reveal! Will it break them or make them? I can't wait to find out.
Nick finally divorced his estranged wife. Eve has had a hard time forgiving him on leaving that bit of news out. But she hasn’t been honest either. She bails her parent from jail. Nick realizes he has to be careful with her parents. He wants Eve back in his life and house. So he starts staying in her sofa to break her down. He uses her friend to arrange a surprise date where he purposed to Eve. Nick becomes jealous during their visit to Italy. He is no longer will to share Eve with anyone. He is ready to start his family. Well little did he know he may have with out Eve or him knowing. Whose expecting?
Trying to make someone happy, nut really. There's no difference than what you normally did except your not being paid. With her family not knowing the type of work she does, this can be devastating. Having older siblings she's raising is sending the wrong message. It may seem that Nick cares for her siblings, but it's definitely not the case. It's about getting what he wants by making her think he does care.
I wish the female in this storyline was more mature so she can see he's another John that is exclusive.
it’s starting to get a little cheesy and predictable I’m still enjoying it
By the end of this one it was getting a bit cheesy and very predictable. The twist at the end I saw coming from a mile away but I still plan to finish reading the series anyway
Same review as the rest of the series: very short book, easy read, good spice, had me needing to know what happened next. Hard for me to even remember what happened in each book because I read them so quickly and they run together
****spoiler alert**** I feel like the ending was rushed a little. Nick saying he wants to get Eve pregnant and getting the IUD taken out and then 4 months later all in the matter of a paragraph. It just doesn’t sit right. Also, WHAT?! Louise???? Now I’m wondering about her motives.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
There’s a lot happening in this book, it was annoying how long Eve took to forgive Nick but I loved all the things he did for her. I feel like her parents are going to come into play more. The sharing is a lot for me and that ending ugh! Nicks and Eve need a break 🤣 spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Well she up and did a Britney and DID IT AGAIN!!!! I just can't with Jessa York right now as she has literally just about melted my kindle with this one, but also tore at my heartstrings for these 2. I flew through this one as I just was soooo immersed in Nick and Eve's continuing saga.
One thing I will say about this one is the trip to Italy is HAWT AF and yeah you all need to read it to get my drift!!!
But I had a feeling that she was gonna leave me hanging since I knew there was more to the story so a fair warning if you haven't figured it out is that this ends in a Cliffy and boy is it a doozy. I have a love/hate relationship with books that end this way but I always am a glutton for punishment for authors who do this and just love it but secretly hate having to wait for more.
Jessa York had me cursing her name and wanting to throw my kindle by the end of this book!! Leading up to my tantrum she had me hooked and wanting other answers. Eve and Nick have lots of talking to do. Nick has a lot of explaining to do and Eve needs to decide if she believes him and can trust him. A lot of things happened in this book and it was equally if not hotter than the previous three, but this ending nearly did me in because on some level I knew it was going to happen, but prayed really hard it wasn't going to. Now we are left wondering more about the future, loyalists and trust. Need to know what happens now!!
Well..... the HOT AF adventures of Nick and Eve continue... AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!!! Just when you thing Jessa York can not make this couple and their story any hotter..... she lights another fire.... and throws lighter fluid on it! As you can imagine, Nick had some cheesy 80's movie type groveling to do this time! And he definitely stepped up with it! A+++ for that effort! Man I was all swoony over that! This couple just makes me happy! I can not get enough of them and love them to pieces!
Eve and Nick’s story continues to unfold in this book. Without giving too much away, we have a few “surprises” that are not expected but not welcome either and a “surprise” which is welcome. Suffice to say Jessa amps up the steam in this book and that ending….oh boy I can see all sorts of things happening now😳
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review😍
This is book 4 in the series and is just as amazing and steamy as the first 3. This book definitely has plenty of drama and leaves you wondering what is going to happen next. Every time it seems like Eve and Nick will get the chance to find happiness something bad seems to happen. Will they be able to get pass the new obstacles or will it end up being ti much? I can’t wait for the next book to find out.
Wow Jessa has done it again. This is book 4 of Eve and Nick’s story and it starts off exactly where book 3 left us all hanging. Surprised and heartbroken Eve makes Nick work his way back into her life after the bombshell from book 3 hit and Nick doesn’t disappoint in his efforts to win back the love of his life. Then things become steamy and hot as f*ck when they take a vacation to Italy. But when they return home they run into more surprises. A must read.
A Billion Lies picks up where the last book left off. Eve found out about Blair and is upset and heartbroken. I'm glad she gave herself some time before she heard Nick out. Nick was still alpha and protective. Now I'm not so sure about that surprise in the end. Ugh! Bring on the next book. The writing is great, the storyline entertaining and the characters still have the chemistry and its hot, intense and passionate.
Wow, everytime you think you know where this story is going it veers left! Nick has some groveling to do. Instead of living in his fancy penthouse, he is sleeping on Eve’s couch - only getting in because her siblings are taking pity on him.
Intrigue, trips to “close” friends, and some very sensual times. An entertaining story.
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
Well this book ended on yet another jaw dropping cliff hanger!
I wanted to throw my phone and shout at the end of this book.
The relationship gets better and better in each book. You can see the relationship grow and change, it’s has issues yes but all do and these characters eventually talk it out.
I can’t wait to see what up next for these two. Hopefully some more heat though-these books have been full of it and it’s been amazing!!!!
"A Billion Lies: A Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance" (The Rosetti Crime Family Book 4) by Jessa York was another smoking hot read. I'm still loving Nick and Eve's story. This was a fantastic addition to this series. This story was full of drama, twists, passion, romance, billionaires, family, friends, and more. I can't wait to see what happens next! Highly recommend it to all fans of romance, billionaires, passion, and series.
5 ⭐️ - highly recommend entire serious, Nick and Candy are adorable and I will stand by that until my dying day.
Nick and Candy are an age gap, mafia romance that has so many twists and turns that I found myself devouring these books. Easy to read and follow with enough story to follow along and break up the 🌶🌶🌶
Highly recommend. Mostly spice with a great underlying plot, if that’s what you’re into.
I am like wait- it’s over already! I was just getting to an oh no what is happening moment!
I always get invested in a story that is really smokin and a little angsty as to what’s going to happen next- especially with what our characters get up to!
Love getting to know more about Nick and Eve is this “episode”!
This series just keeps getting better and better. The roller coaster ride of emotions is exactly what you want to feel when you read. Reading is my escape and I live escaping I to this world. Just when you think you have it all figured out she Jessa throws you another curve ball. Can not wait to see what the next book has in store for us.
Jessa York is such a great writer but she is going to give me a heart attack with this series. First Nick's wife, now another twist. Nick isn't giving up though. There is so much going on and I love it. I can't get enough of Nick and Eve. No spoilers just know you won't be disappointed by reading this book.
Eve and Nick have a rocky start in this book but he convinces her to give him another chance. There's a good deal of bedroom time and probably some things that may not be a favorite for some readers. The books in this series are more like novellas and this one was particularly brief, that's my only real complaint. I hate 50 books that could have been 2 or 3.
