The hunt is on.

When a police investigation into a robbery finds no leads, property developer Mark Costa turns to private investigator Jack Valentine. Hired to do what the police couldn’t, Valentine digs deep into Costa’s past, revealing a life full of fraud, deceit, and violence.

Mark Costa had a history of making enemies, and the list of candidates who stole the valuable item was long. To discover the truth, Valentine must follow every lead and uncover every secret, steering him into the criminal underworld. Fighting against gang-members, corrupt officials, and ruthless crime syndicates, he steps closer to danger at every turn.
Forcing his way into a world of corruption, Valentine uncovers evidence that could expose more than just a thief.

But to reveal the truth, to uncover who is at the core of the problem, Jack Valentine will need to risk his own life to expose them…

‘The Thief’ is the fourth book in this high-stakes mystery series. It can be read as a standalone story or part of the heart-pounding Jack Valentine series.

Jack Valentine is a great P.I. but this case had so many twists and turns

Well this was an interesting case so many decoys to solving this on. Just keep reading. It is a little slow at beginning but enough to make you want to keep reading. Find out what kind of trouble Jack gets into to solve this case.

Suspenseful mixed with humor

I liked that this book had a mix of suspense and thrill mixed with love and laughs. O’Mahoney always includes jokes in his novels which I enjoy even though many are corny Dad jokes. I recommend reading his books in the order of the series but even if you don’t it’s easy to understand the characters.

The Thief by Peter O’Mahoney

Lots of action in this crime thriller. Surprisingly, two deaths one of which was a murder that had gone cold get solved while pursuing the theft of a Laptop.
