‘The Thief’ is the fourth book in this high-stakes mystery series. It can be read as a standalone story or part of the heart-pounding Jack Valentine series.
Jack Valentine is a great P.I. but this case had so many twists and turns
Well this was an interesting case so many decoys to solving this on. Just keep reading. It is a little slow at beginning but enough to make you want to keep reading. Find out what kind of trouble Jack gets into to solve this case.
I liked that this book had a mix of suspense and thrill mixed with love and laughs. O’Mahoney always includes jokes in his novels which I enjoy even though many are corny Dad jokes. I recommend reading his books in the order of the series but even if you don’t it’s easy to understand the characters.
Lots of action in this crime thriller. Surprisingly, two deaths one of which was a murder that had gone cold get solved while pursuing the theft of a Laptop.
