Just prior to Pentecost, Jesus told His followers that the Holy Spirit would empower them to carry His gospel throughout the world. The book of Acts follows the early Church as it fulfills Jesus’s words, in spite of outside threats and persecution. This action-packed narrative is more than a historical account. It is the story of Jewish and Gentile believers learning how to live out the gospel together in a community as the family of God.
Over six weeks, we will read all twenty-eight chapters of the book of Acts. Join us as we journey from Jerusalem to Rome, deepening our understanding of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the body of Christ and God’s plan of salvation for the entire world.
