We begin with Julia Lawrence trying to figure out what to do with her unconscious date who passed out when he discovered she has a tail. Julia is a member of the Adams pack we but is living on her own in Manhasset...

Julia is running a pet boutique in Manhasset, away from her "special" Adams pack, when she decides to invest her money on the stock market and meets another shifter, a were-lion. Cassidy's writing is quirky and fun, and the relationship between Julia and Xavier smolders with the conviction of two people who know what they want without the pansy "now I do, now I don't" crap. A good read from an author I'll definitely look for again.

I never really connected with Julia.

I was amused by the Lion having a last name of Wolf. That did amuse me.

Plot was... alright. Definitely didn't have the arc that the first two had.
