Greyson refuses to go, refuses to believe. Why would he leave his mom and two sisters? Then everything changes when his little sister, Annabelle, is kidnapped and taken to this other world, a distant realm called Ensonio.

The trade-off? Annabelle’s life for some powerful ancient relics, the key to which is hidden in Greyson’s mysterious tattoo. Greyson has no choice but to leave home and retrieve the relics, but will he find them in time to save Annabelle?

Mapkeeper Journey Through the North is it world class young adult fantasy novel. It is in the same vein as Percy Jackson or Harry Potter and it's the first in a planned trilogy. I can't recommend this book enough because it has so many twists and turns that I was not expecting. Definitely worth picking up.

Okay… I loved this book. I’m not the type to keep a book to their noes for more than a hour, but this book is an exception. It kept me intrigued, and forced me to keep reading. After I started, I kept asking “WAIT WHAT!?”
Initially, I only read this just to satisfy my friend, but when I continued, I learned that maybe she can choose an AWSOME read. So, thank you!

This was such a fun read. The world building is done very well and the characters really came to life for me. I was invested the entire time. The ending of the book actually shocked me. I did NOT see that coming and I cannot wait for this talented team of tale tellers to put out the second part. I'll be buying it on day one!

I am not a big reader, never have been, but this…this book…so diddly dang GOOD! This story is amazing and encouraging, while also making me sob in my bedroom at 3:00a. It’s a fantastic story about growth and the other main characters are simply my favorite. I cannot wait for more by the lovely authors!

The only thing bad about this book is the cliffhanger at the end
