Rate this book
Dopo “NON PUOI ESSERE TU”, “SARAI MIO”, “LA PROSSIMA VITTIMA” e “VERITÀ SEPOLTE”, ecco FREQUENZE DI MORTE il libro n.5 per studenti stranieri di livello A2-B1 della collana “Learning Easy Italian”.
E’ mezzanotte. Pamela Giorgi sta ascoltando un programma alla radio e il conduttore è Fabrizio de Luca, il suo ex fidanzato. Dopo una breve pausa per la pubblicità, il programma dovrebbe ritornare, ma così non è: dalla radio proviene solo silenzio.
Cosa è successo? Perché Fabrizio non è in onda?
Pamela lo scoprirà presto.

This is a very useful book. The story is easy to read and the meaning of most of the (few) unknown words can be worked out from the context. The summary at the end of each chapter is helpful to check that you have understood everything. It's good to be able to read a short book in Italian without having to wonder what every other word means.

A story with a twist.

I like these stories. The Italian is a good level for me and the idioms are very entertaining. This is a good story with a likeable protagonist. I think Sonia's stories are getting better!

wonderful Italian story for level A1-B2 students

I love the way Sonia Ognibene writes these little books for students studying Italian. The books are written in present tense with Italian idioms and non literal translations identified as(=…).
In addition, she provides a summary of each chapter ( also in present tense).
The murder mystery in Frequenzi di morte was engaging and kept me guessing.
She introduced a lot of vocabulary which could be useful in speaking Italian.
