A quick read that really doesn't have a final ending, it is left up in the air probably in case a sequel is written. Mari goes to Austria with her 2 friends and their boyfriends after breaking up with her boyfriend. They meet Mikah in the local supermarket and they hit it off. He explains they need to heed the written note from the house owners about leaving food out at night for the week before Christmas or there will be consequences. One night Mari forgets and she ends up getting a visit she never imagined. Mikah turns out to be one of the consequences for not leaving food out. Highly readable and entertaining.

Got the version with the old cover- like this cover better.
but the story itself was surprisingly good. Her hooking up with her ex kinda caught me off-guard and the book ended extremely abruptly- the author was done and that was it LMAO

Overall a fast little bit of fun and I'll definitely check out more by this author

Quickie

Short, 96-page book. Demon shifter, erotica with Black characters. Though not BDSM, there is rough sex involved as well as sex while one partner is shifted. Author’s writing is detailed and thorough. Very enjoyable.

Decently spicy, but honestly could've used some world building. I wanted to know more about the Austrian mythology!
