Takuto and his empire confront their first true rival in the armies of the Demon Lord, which Takuto recognizes from the RPG Brave Questers. What new strategies will Mynoghra be forced to undertake to overcome the Demon Lord’s army that operates under entirely different game mechanics? Either way, it’s going to be a tough fight with Mynoghra’s forces split between the allied town of Dragontan and the Accursed Lands. Will strategy game elements triumph over RPG mechanics? Takuto’s going to have to find out the hard way!
The author has made some decisions I'm not really happy about. There's still more good than bad but the next volume is going to be my make or break for the series.
It has been good so far. I'm a little skeptical about introducing additional characters that are from earth. The demon king being one, the guy who killed the demon king and now the witch. I think it would of been better to have one introduced at the beginning and another at the end. I don't understand why guns have been introduced as well.
First, I didn't like the direction is taking with making a soup of games. Second, killing Isla so soon felt rushed as we never see how she became the mother and grow to appreciate her. We were just told she is Queen mother and then died.
I believe I will be dropping this series. I'll watch the anime if it goes beyond this which I doubt given that may be 12 episodes.

I debated between four and five stars but the main point I want to make it is that I am glad I picked up this series even the faults of it are overshadowed by the word developing and storyline this author is creating.
Was a good and interesting read. Just didn't like one aspect of the book. What he had to go through so he and a couple other characters to find strength.
