I’m glad i found this quickie, even though in this story the Daddy is not what a Daddy should be…. What this man does isn’t what a real Daddy would do,at all! And i’m very glad Piper got away in time! Now all i can hope is she’ll find a Daddy that knows how to treat his little…..
Pepper North is an author i will be reading more of,i know that much after this prequel to Daddy’s Waiting!
Wow is all I can say. Pepper North knows how to keep you very entertained, on the edge of your seat, and falling in love. Meet Piper and see how her adventure begins.
At first I thought that this story might not be my cup of tea, but dang it…… I want more of Piper now!! 😂
My issue Gabriel….. I should also mention that I went blind into this reading since I did NOT read the blurb. So I had no idea what to expect, other than the title and that it is a prequel.
A prequel to Pepper’s new series The ABC Towers. Piper is a Little who has not found her Daddy yet. While she is covering for her friend on maternity leave Piper meets Mr. Gabriel Serrano a new client for the company she works for. I will say this is an emotional book that will have you loving and hating characters. You will have to read this book to see what happens to Piper and Mr. Serrano and how she goes to work for Mr. Easton Edgewater owner of the ABC Towers.
Escaping is a concise, roughly 34 pages prequel to set up this new series by Ms. Pepper North. The story is a touch of mystery, suspense, with steam—and maybe even danger. Be careful what you wish for. “My Little girl forever.”
The prequel’s plot will have two friends at lunch, Marla and Piper, when Marla’s water breaks—she needs Piper to fill in her administrative assistant position while she is out on maternity leave. A new client, Gabriel Serrano, oozing sex appeal and starts hitting on Piper in the elevator, sending her flowers the following day, and insisting she joins him for dinner that evening. This relationship goes from zero to sixty immediately, and the Daddy Dom isn’t afraid of pursuing his Little girl.
Gabriel: With a click, he secured her seatbelt. “There. All Little girls must be kept safe.” Piper: “Little girls?” Gabriel: “It’s okay, Piper. Daddies recognize their Littles quickly. I’m glad to have found you.” Piper: “I don’t know what to say.” Gabriel: “You have bewitched me, sweet Piper. Tell me about yourself. I want to know everything. It’s okay, Little girl. You’re safe with me.”
An incident that could have been life-threatening will have Gabriel disappointed in Piper for keeping a secret that could harm her. When they return to her apartment, she gets a taste of Daddy’s punishment with an over-the-knee spanking.
Piper: “Gabriel, no. Please stop. I’m sorry. I’ll never bother you again. You can just go.” Gabriel: “Ah, no, Little one. You have provoked the Daddy inside of me. I won’t disappear from your life now. I’m here to take care of you. Count the last five swats with me, Piper, to complete your punishment.”
What a great setup for this new series. Oh my goodness, the good, the bad, and the evil are all in play—you must read to find out. I was on the edge-of-my-seat as I was reading towards the end. Chapters one through six introduce us to Piper, and chapter seven is the introduction to ABC Towers.
As a little myself, I wanted to live this. I'm not entirely certain if the author has experienced a bad ddlg relationship or just failed to grasp how daddies and little work, but for all of the relationship, our heroine was behaving like somebody with a very low intelligence, when it came to the relationship. I also hated how fast things progressed. Instalove sucks. The book was novella length of at least felt that way. Sharon finding a married man a little was sketchy as hell as well. The new boss acting all daddy like by thinking he'll protect her also feels wrong. I feel the writing and vocabulary were the best part of this story. I wanted so much to have a good book that I could picture myself in, but this was not it.
I liked the premise and the way the characters were introduced. Some of the plot was out of left field and the dialogue was amateurish but I have read other works by this author and know that she evolves. I didn't get Little vibes from Piper until he literally said she was his Little. It just came out of nowhere. Then him having multiple restraining orders? I feel like big companies would do more research about potential collaborations and see those. But it does whet your appetite to see what's next.
Wow, the title is the whole story in some ways and the only reason I kept reading the story. From the beginning I didn't like the way that Gabriel treated Piper. There is a thin line sometimes between a determined Daddy and a predator but the feeling is different. This prequel really draws you and I can't wait for more from this series.
I am just in awe of this new series. I couldn't put it down. Pippa draws you right in, she is so smart and sweet and Gabriel is very intense! After being warned to run and never let him find her, Poppa runs!! I can't wait for the next book! Thank you Pepper North, your amazing
Escaping leaves you wanting more. At the last page I went come on Pepper. But that’s what she does best is keeps you wanting more! This book is prequel to her new series. She introduces you to Piper a little. And you will be cheering for her. And booing the Dark Daddy. And will Piper find her Good Daddy? Come and read it also. To find out!
I enjoyed reading this story and I will be looking out for the rest of the series. It was a well written and described short story. I really believed Gabriel and hoped that he would be right for Piper. There are plenty of different elements to hold the reader's interest, including some DDlg scenes. I very highly recommend this story. Great start to a new series.
Not sure why I bother sometimes with all these Daddy/little stories, and although this is the beginning of a new series, I'm not that sure I'll care very much. Piper, a very good PA, gets conned by Gabriel, an Argentinian business man and a Daddy. Very basic story laying the groundwork for what is to come (presumably). So-so :( (And again, thank goodness for freebies)
Piper was covering for her boss Marla while she was giving birth. She sure didn’t expect to be romanced by Gabriel Serrano. It is all romance and him knowing that she is a little. But things don’t seem to be that simple. He isn’t what he seems. Piper is now having to hide from him to keep herself safe. Where there any signs? Nope. Her story continues in Daddy Waiting.
Piper thinks she's found the perfect Daddy in Gabriel but something just doesn't seem right. She must leave everything behind to escape from Gabriel and finds herself at ABC Towers as the new assistant to the owner Easton Edgewater. Piper wants to forget about being a little and finding another Daddy. Can Easton change her mind?
This is a short interesting read.Piper is an excellent worker who Catches Gabriel eye.Gabriel a client of the company piper works is a bad man.Piper finds out the hard way that Gabriel is not who he seems.,so she had to flee leaving her job, friends behind.Would piper be safe from Gabriel. You got to read this intriguing book.
Thought this was a standalone, but huge cliffhanger and build into next book. Piper never identified herself as a Little or interest in living the lifestyle. She's read romance books about it that's all that's said. Gabriel took advantage of her naivete and curiosity. No discussion of safe words or limits.
Oh you'll love this if you've read anything by pepper north before. If not, welcome to your new addiction. There is a touch of dark to it but the good kind. This prequel is a good start/teaser for the next book. I can't wait to read the next
I liked meeting Piper, She was almost to trusting but knew in the end that Something was wrong when her friend blocked her. I am glad that Piper was able to get out of the clutches of Gabriel. I would recommend this book for those who like Dr/LG books.
Piper was at lunch with her friend & coworker Marla when Marla’s water broke in that moment Piper’s Life is about to change for ever. Thank You for the Novela I can’t wait for Daddy's Waiting (ABC Towers Book 1)
This is a well written shot story to introduce a new series by Pepper North. The first story is projected to be available in November and can be pre-ordered. This looks to be another great start of a popular series by a popular author.
Spoiler alert; I can't wait for November 5, 2021. Since this isn't a stand alone, but a prequel to the series, I'll have to wait, and wait I will. Piper's story is on my list of books to read. The waiting will be Torture!
Piper is an excellent worker but catches the eye of a man who is bad. She finds this out and leaves everything behind, her job, friends and even her apartment. She seems to be getting another job but wants to make sure she will be safe. Definitely a TBC book.
This little prequel has me completely roped in. I’ve preordered the first book in the series and can’t wait to find out what happens next in Piper’s life.
Piper gets promoted to a new position when her friend goes on maternity leave. Little did she know this would make her ripe for the picking. What's she to do when her greatest joy turns sour?
What a fantastic start to a new series. Intense, emotion-laden, and interesting characters and storyline. A unique premise that you will not want to put down. I cannot wait for the first book in this new amazing series.
Piper meets a man who tells her he is her Daddy and without much of an argument allows him to take over her life. It is classic sub lacking backbone. Disappointing
This is very short and in the beginning everything happened so fast that the heroine should have expected something was off. It was far to short to engage with any of the characters. I didn’t realize that it was the prequel to a series but nothing in it made me want to read the rest.
