I really don't like giving 2 stars because I don't like making the author feel bad but this book was missing too much for me like why did Blu father really leave did he rat someone out. Where did Ellis go when he was a teen . Did he go to juvie or go to a different city. How did Ellis win her back so quickly that she had to married him . He didn't pay any bills off the top and how long have Ellis been gone with all her money. When Butler sent his men to beat her and the 2nd time they came to beat her they stomp her in back her stomach all over her body but the baby live really come on now. It's a lot of things that just don't make a lot of sense to me and I have been reading you since my baby Trigga and the love of my life gunplay something just ain't right with this book

Part 2 Please!
I haven't read anything from this author in awhile. I'm glad I chose this book to come back to her on. The way she tells a story makes you feel like you're right there and the characters become part of you. Like family members you Love to be around. I can't wait to see how this will play out. Drama, excitement and upset I'm sure is around the corner. Please drop part 2 ASAP!

It was a cute light read however too many holes and inconsistencies/contradictions. I felt like I was reading a story on one of those old fan fiction sites (iykyk it actually sounds very similar to a story I read on one of those boards. Lemme find out this is one of my e-besties). One she stated on her first actual run in with Gucci that it was the start to her most toxic romance of her life and then we got no romance from them but read all about her toxic romance with Ellis. The Ellis story is still incomplete. Butler sounded like a dude not to leave a job undone so how sis walked away is beyond me. I have no idea where this story actually went like there’s no true plot. We introduced a lot of characters but then just kind of left them swaying in the wind. I agree with the shifts on POV being annoying. However even with all of that I didn’t mind the story. I am looking to read part 2. I am going to follow the author because it wasn’t all that bad and I’d love to see how she progresses.

While I enjoyed reading this book, there were things that made me feel like it needed to be revamped.
Besides the plenty grammatical errors and random third person switching from first person, I felt there were things that needed to tie the book together. How was it that Prada was having chemo and her brothers as close as they were didn't recognize? How Bleu got beaten so badly but a baby survive? and when she got beat where was she going when Gucci spotted her? I could go on.
I think instead of focusing on the other characters, the writer should have emphasized some of the above points. Case in point - Cyndria's story shouldn't have been part of this book, it made no sense.
I'm off to read part II and I hope it's better written, edited and cohered.

love the story line …!! or should I say the concept idk 🤷🏽♀️
the story line is awesome I love it !! The things I don’t like are: 1) all the mistakes.. 2) the writing is all over the place .. 3) so drawn out like the co -worker girl was for nothing didn’t care at all..! 4) I skip so much unnecessary wording omg 😳 get on with the story we get it stop repeating the same emotions ova and ova .. there are so many things I wanna say but don’t wanna tell the story but please make it believable like how the fetus survive all them azz kickin she received and why she not scared and running for her life how she actin like they never happened omg 🤦🏾♀️

It was so many questions and missing answers to the things that happened in this book. Maybe part 2 will give me a better understanding. Ellis did her so grimy and I hope he get his karma. I love Bleu and Gucci together. I hope Taeji and Louis get back together bcuz Sassy dirty self ain't it. Stephen foul behind needs a taste of KARMA. Prada hiding her condition from her family ain't it but Saint was her savior that was right there by her side.

What is going on here????
I haven’t read a Porsche Sterling book in a while but this book what not what I usually get from her. The storyline was very busy and slow in progression. There are soooooo many grammatical errors. That played a great part in me writing this review. When I read, I need the words to flow. I don’t want to read a sentence multiple times just to understand what it is saying. Hopefully part 2 will be better🤞🏾

Gucci is such a gentleman! I am looking forward to the next book because he is so smooth and real. I hope Bleu doesn’t have the same situation happen to her that Tae is regretting with Louis. Perfect Prada needs to stop worrying about others and live her life to the fullest and dump that roommate. I am ready for book 2 to kick up all the drama and street thugs to show up.🥰🤣

You did the darn thing with this book. I absolutely loved it. I love Gucci, Louis, and Prada. I can’t wait to see all this come together. I waiting for all the drama to unfold. Nice Read let's see how it picks up
I must say I liked this I am looking forward to part 2. It started a little slow for me but quickly caught rhythm . I enjoyed the build up and how she gave details to the background and keep the connection to said background throughout the book. GOOD READ

Loved it.
I absolutely loved how Gucci went after her and didn't want to fall in love but couldn't understand the feelings he was having for her but went with the flow. Ellis was the worst!! Moving to part 2. It had a lot of grammatical errors but I still had to give it 5 stars!!!

I actually love this book and anything I have read by Porsha Sterling. I listened to A Southern Street King Earned Her Love on Hoopla my library app. Oh yeah and that is FREE.

Wow!!
I enjoyed this book way more than I thought I would. Babyyyy that Ellis......omg. I won't spoil it for others but that man should be so far under a jail cell if not 6 ft below!!!! I originally thought it was just centered around the 2 main characters, but I enjoyed getting the backstory of the important people in their circle. Can't wait to read the next one 💕

Amazing story
Love the story line but the person that proofed this book needs to be fired, mixed gender pronouns, misspelled words, wrong words in the place of other words

Great read!
I loved this book. I could visualize the characters and plot so clearly. The only reason I gave it a four star instead of five was because of a few grammatical errors throughout the book.
