When Ivan’s dark grief begins to fill the earth and encroach on the galaxy, Selena steps in—only to lose everything. Now, freshly single, she has no intention of ever falling for the moody King of East Europe again. He’s broken her heart for the last time.
And now, with a daughter to raise, stability is more important than ever.
But Ivan isn’t one to back down. He’ll push, pull, tempt, and even beg for Selena’s forgiveness.
And as the last of their enemies turn against them and the other gods, he’ll have to find a way to keep his family safe—all the while knowing he might never taste the peace he’s fought for on behalf of the galaxy.
For what is peace without love? And who wants to spend eternity in the dark?

Although I enjoyed this story a lot, for me what is a very intriguing storyline was spoilt by either bad or no editing/proofreading. As I read an ARC of this book I can't be sure that these issues were all weeded out if they were then the story would definitely be improved. But as I've already said even with the confusion with some names and words used out of context I still enjoyed this book, the backbone of the story and the characters themselves were interesting. My apologies to the author if all the issues I found in my ARC copy were found and dealt with.
Continuing from House of Vampires 45, we find that Selena is finally tired of having her heart broken. She wants nothing more to do with Ivan. But Ivan isn’t one to back down from what he wants. He will do whatever it takes to get Selena’s forgiveness.
Now with their enemies moving against them and the other gods, he’ll have to find a way to keep his family safe as he realizes they have to come before everything else.
House of Vampires book 46: An Eternity in the Dark brings the war between the gods, demigods, the void and the human tinkers to a head. The action and betrayals will have everyone guessing. It's a rollercoaster ride for sure. Ms Snow, OMG please fire your editor or hire one whichever you need to do.
Only 2 more books left. Things started to get really bad in this book,I really was surprised by the ending.I can't wait to read the next book.I can't wait to see how this all ends.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind, and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading, I could not put it down until I read the last page.
