It’s okay to want someone innocent, susceptible to your worldly charms, desirable where you can’t reason.“What’s wrong with me? Why did I make a mistake, this kind of mistake?” I’m human, I want a do over, a second chance at love, but I know Christian will never forgive me for leaving without a word, without a kiss, without something for him to remember me by. It’s been ten years and I still can’t stop thinking about that day. He was too young for me, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing me. That’s how young men are I guess. They see what they want, and there are no boundaries that will prevent them from getting who and what they desire, so I ran from Christian, because of his boldness and ideas about life. This second chance M/M romance contains age play, friends to lovers, and fake boyfriends.
French then English . As it is an ARC review, I first of all would like to thank Sky McCoy
Avis :

Review :
I was excited to read a teacher-student romance.
I admit I was surprised by the emotional lengths of the story and the abrupt way of its ending.
Where it is about a man wishing to respect his reputation, follow his sense of duty and preserve himself to the maximum, a wait of 10 years to reconnect with the love of his life by showing a lack of self-confidence hardly seems believable. Especially for a 30-something who has lived a rich and successful life.
Moreover, how to let the love of his life pass by taking away his ability to decide for himself?
I hated feeling frustrated with a convoluted ending to an important event.
I would have liked to know beforehand that it was an episode story.
I am perplexed as to the outcome of this story, which after all is endearing despite everything.
It could happen. The perfect match up of lovers at first sight and smell. But why in a crowded classroom? Why with everyone watching? Why in high school between student and teacher?
Then as things begin to get interesting, the vanishing act by the teacher before things can progress.
Ten years of searching. Then a reunion brings the class and the teacher together again, but the fireworks are still there and much more obvious.
Book 1 is the intro to our couple and they have history and then some. I like that this story pushes against norms like age. I think both characters have the capacity to be very complex and while we got some knowledge of them, I expect book 2 is going to give us a more in depth look at them. I like the supporting cast and appreciate their balance to the story. It has hot and heavy moments and lots of emotion. It took me a bit to settle into the story as it was a little frantic in the start but you find a steady pace reading it and it balances out. I look forward to book two and finding out where it all goes from here.
Sky McCoy has always been great at writing characters who for some very good reasons flee from a relationship only to deeply regret it later. The angst level is always high as they realize their mistake and try to make amends. We also get to see how deeply hurt the other main character is and the resolution is never too quick and easy. There is also generally some surprising twist that I never see coming that ups the stakes and angst level. This book is no exception and handles these plot devices expertly. I enjoyed every minute of the story of Landyn and Christian. Looking forward eagerly to the next book in the series.
At the end of this book my main response was WTF. A man and a boy meet in HS. Fall passionatly in love. The man does not mention a child and like a total coward runs away without explaining anything. Then ten years later they meet again. This man who was crazy about the boy managed to get a female partner and wants to begin his relationship with the boy (now a man). They have sexual run ins, the lawyer wants to move on. They have sex and there it ends, WTF. First this book was really confusing and then both MC's are idiots. Don't know what else to say other than this is Book One of at least Three. I will NOT be following up.

Sky is back with another book! This was an awesome book. This had my feelings all over the place and it was great! I had a really hard time putting this book down because it was so gripping; I had to know what happened next! I can't wait for book One Night With You. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend this book and Sky as an awesome author.
I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I love Sky McCoy books and this one doesn't disappoint. I do have more than 37 of her books so you know I love me some Sky McCoy! The angst and heartache rips your emotions to shreds but the HEA is well worth the emotional rollercoaster. Love is love and when given a second chance you go for it! A must read!
Wow what passionate love between Landyn and Christian. Not to mention the angst of a love triangle?!! Oh not to mention the secrets...and the plot thickens. And what about Levi, Andrew and Channing? A great read by Sky. Definitely a page turner...can't wait for book 2...

The first book was really beautiful. Definitely a page turner. I really liked the chemistry between the two characters. In some ways it resembles the story of Dean and Jeremy of the Fascination series. Can't wait to read the second book!
I really tried. But it was awful. The writing is truly horrible, adults behave like toddlers and overall most of the book doesn't make sense. DNF at about 50%
