DI Sara Ramsey is about to enter a week she will soon wish she passed by, as a her personal life hits an unfathomable moment that slaps her with fear for the future, and a cold-blooded killer uses her area for his personal playground! A nurse is pushed or thrown from a high rise building, and as Sara and her Team start delving into her life as part of the investigation, other bodies start to appear all around. Could there be a connection between these deaths? If so What is it!! The Team is checking everything with no luck, until a memory of a conversation has Sara checking court records!
You are pulled into the story immediately, working right beside characters that have become friends, feeling everything they go through and giving in to your emotions. You laugh, yell, jump at a scene and bawl like a baby as you hit the end. This is Book 15 in the 'DI Sara Ramsey Series', but every line you read, idea you encounter, fear that hits you so hard you actually STOP and Breathe, is like a brand new series you are just beginning! What an outstanding story!!!

You can’t help but feel for Sara in the latest book in the series. Not only has she and the team got a tough case to crack, she has a lot going on in her personal life to. I’m not going to go too much into that side of things but boy do things get emotional!

The author really ramps up on the murders in this book. Each one is as horrific as the last and would love to know where she gets all the ideas from on how to kill off the victims. It adds to the thrill of the story and it had my heart racing. I was very eager to know why these people were being killed as it couldn’t be anymore random but the author cleverly weaves it altogether for a great climax.

The Kill List was both a heart pounding and emotional read. It had me totally engrossed and made for a chilling and unputdownable novel. Due to the personal thread in the story, my emotions were on high alert but the case made sure that there were plenty of chills that had me excitedly turning the page to find out the who’s and why’s. Sara and Carla as always are a force to be reckoned with and I love the whole sense of team work. Kudos to the author for another great read!

My thanks to the author for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own and not biased in anyway.

This writer improves with every book. A book you cannot second guess. The story is fast paced with well rounded and fleshed out characters. The writing is of a quality that has you turning the pages at a rate of knots.
Seemingly random murders, with no connection, or have they? That is what Sara and her team have to investigate. This novel sees more of the team take centre stage as Sara not only struggles with the investigation but with devastating news that affects her family.
If you're looking for a fast paced book with engaging characters and a gripping story then this is the book for you. No this is the series for you!
I keep waiting for this author to drop her quality but she never disappoints; and neither will you be.
Commended and highly recommended. Grab a copy!

This author always comes up trumps in every book she writes.
DI Sara Ramsey and DS Carla Jameson are pursuing a death of a young nurse, which turns out to be a murder scene. Before they could get much information on the go, another murder is reported which DS Jameson takes under her wing because Sara has personal devastating family news which she has to take care of.
One by one the murders stack up with no clues as to the reason behind them or the perpetrators.
Until a casually overheard conversation alerts them to the fact that all murders are linked to a previously convicted gang leader who is running the show from inside.
A very well thought out storyline which kept me rooted to the book.

Ooooof. What a start. 1 kill/push? To many others
As things progress so does Sara’s life.
She’s definitely pulled in pieces and still she’s there.
Loved this. They just drag me in!

Sara, Cara and the team investigate when a nurse is thrown from a high rise building. It’s not long before more murders occur but what is the connection?

What a story! The prologue was heartbreaking and certainly made me shudder.

I have to say that I spent most of this book in tears. I found it to be a very emotional read and the author wrote with such compassion and feeling. This is a wonderful series and I look forward to reading more.

Wow! I think I experienced every possible emotion reading this one. As with most of Ms. Comley’s book, the plot could easily be true crime. Vicious murders intricately weaved into an end game that just doesn’t seem to have an end as the body count begins to rise.

I love the way we’re given insight into not only the crimes, but the murderers, the victims and Sara’s family plight. Sara’s strength shines through both her dedication to her job and her unwavering love for her husband and family. A love that is tested many times as Sara is forced to pull fifteen hour days.

As with each book I always think the last one I read was my favorite, but this one will stick with me for a long time and has topped the list for my favorite in the DI Sara Ramsey series. A must read for those who love a touch of reality with their fiction, but I highly recommend a box of Kleenex be kept near at all times.

The author, MA Comley has never let me down when it comes to a good read that totally takes my mind off of everything . Lord knows i needed that more than ever. Once again she
has written another 5 star book that is packed with action on every page. The Kill List is one of those books that you find hard to put down once you start and will keep you turning the pages late into the night. I started this book before bed only intending on reading a few chapters and ended up not putting it down.
I love the characters so much in this series. I do not usually cry when i read this kind of book but i was crying my eyes out at the end. My heart broke for Sara and her family. So just be warned if you have read the others in this series and have come to love the characters you will need tissues ! I can not wait to read the next one in this series.

Oh My! This book tore me apart. The author really does put her characters through it sometimes. And in this book, Sara's personal life is torn apart. And if that wasn't enough to contend with, in her professional life, the body count is rising. And fast. But she is a very determined woman and has a good bunch of both colleagues, but also friends and family and, well, with them in her corner, she will fight whatever life (and the author) throws at her...
Ignoring the personal stuff for the moment as it was sad enough reading it, I'm not about to rehash it here, the crimes contained herein are a bit nasty... and confusing. Especially at the pace the come. Which all means that Sara has to work all the hours and, what with everything else, isn't quite at her best. Which means that Carla gets a chance to shine. And that was actually a refreshing change. I do love it when author's mix things up at bit - keeps it all fresh...!
I do admit to cottoning on on something someone said a bit earlier than the police and feel a bit smug about that but, that wasn't the be all, and I didn't really see the rest of it all coming so kudos to the author for once again pulling the wool over...!
We are now at book 15 and the series feels as fresh as the day I first read book one. I've come a long way with both Sara and Carla and indeed all the other series characters. Obviously it's best to get to know them from the start. But I do feel for anyone who is only just discovering this author and gaping at the content of her back catalogue! I've been here from the start and have loved every one of her books. Only thing left to wonder is which of the series she will delight me with next time...

And once again M. A. Comley makes the latest book in a series feel completely and utterly fresh, which is a rather impressive skill.

This time around initially Carla is taking over some of the initial questioning of victim's family members, while Sara is dealing with the latest family news which gave the book a rather emotional tone to it at times.

And it's good to see Carla start to gain a smidge more confidence in her own opinions, and that wasn't the only police officer we get to see a lot more of.

The work load for DI Sara Ramsey is ramping up at pace, when they have multiple dead bodies all with different methods of death, so no obvious link at all and once again I find myself fascinated with how the police can deal with such a complex set of cases.

This had me completely and utterly gripped, there were a few tears, but also I was just enthralled with seeing what would happen next. An utterly brilliant latest instalment in this series, that always impresses me. Once more I want to hand M. A. Comley all the superlatives for such a fabulous book.

Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I'm not crying, you're crying!

What an excellent and busy read! The main plotline could have been ripped from the headlines, it was realistic and scary true in a way. The subplot was also very realistic and sad. I went back and forth between fear, then anger at one of the characters, and then real tears! I don't know how or if M A Comley could have stayed dry eyed while writing part of this story. having read the whole series, which this could be a stand alone, but I recommend that you read them all, I am invested in all of these characters and their emotional ties. But in order to follow life's realities, some things just happen this way! Another fantastic book by this author!

Ooooh this book was brilliant! It is one of the best that I have read in this series and by this author to date – I love the characters and this book is dark, gritty and a tad gruesome but that makes it a thrilling read.

The book has not only the operating killer that Sara and her team need to track down, but also she is going through some tough personal issues and that gives the book a more grounded feel that there is other stuff going on too not just catching the “baddies”.

I thought that the writing style was perfect, the author is a fantastic storyteller and she makes the stories she writes completely addictive too.

It is no question at all that this was a five star read - very highly recommended!

The Best DI Sara Ramsey story to date - although all have been amazing.

In this story, a popular young nurse is found dead outside her flat, and at first it is presumed to be a suicide.

Whilst Sara and her team investigate the death, Sara gets some devastating personal news which shakes her whole being. She and Mark have their first spat and she suspects that there is a problem between Des and Carla.

All this is putting a huge strain on Sara and she is finding it almost impossible to cope with everything but, Sara being Sara, struggles through her personal problems, Carla, her partner, and the rest of the team take as much pressure off her at work.

If you can read this without it tugging at your heart strings, you are a better person than I am.

No matter how many personal problems a police person has, they still give their all in the pursuit of justice for victims of crime. Sara is just such a person.

Such a touching story.

Highly Recommended.

Ooh, what an opening! It left me open mouthed. The very nature of the crime let me know that there was going to be some hefty murderous business going on and boy was it terrifying. I think the title, ‘Kill List’, perfectly reflects the content.

Once again, Sara, Carla and Lorraine gave me hours of fast paced entertainment with their crime solving skills. The banter and chemistry was as strong as ever. Loved the case and the familiar characters.

Sara’s story was moving. So, so sad. What a heartbreaker.

If you love a story that gallops along and contains a gritty case, then put ‘Kill List’ on your list, now!

Exciting Read

With four vicious murders taking place within a few days of each other. Not only are Sara and her team stretched thin trying to keep on top of each case, but Sara's marriage is under strain and she's also hit with devastating news elsewhere in her personal life. Just when Sara is questioning whether her team has the resources to investigate all 4 murders effectively, a seemingly innocent comment helps tie the cases together and things very quickly fall into place. Sara and her team realise that there are 9 other people still on the kill list and the race ensues to get to them before the killer does.

Sara and her team have no idea when they start investigating one crime scene that they won't get any time off for a while. There are many crime scenes but it isn't until a statement, that you don't pay much attention too, may be the lead to the answers. Then an overheard phone call. So many "what to do next" in this book you will take a wild ride. I hope you enjoy the ride, I did! I don't even want to talk about the sadness that runs through. Tugging at heartstrings as well.

The best one yet

This one is my favourite so far in the series, a very good and different story which keeps you guessing and gripped from the start. My only niggle with this series is the sniggering, as it brings to mind someone sly and childish which I cannot stand. I was pleased that there wasn't as much in this book, also I can't take to Carla even now. Bizarrely, I still really enjoy this series and lol forward to the next book.

Sara is going through a lot in this one

I just love this series! Sara, Mark, Carla and the rest of the band are in for a handful with these cases. A serial killer and several bodies. Plus Sara has been dealt a personal blow that almost completely stops her in her tracks. It all comes together with twists and turns and a good mystery solved and alas some tears are shed. A must read!

A good read as always

I enjoyed reading this book as usual and getting to know the
characters a bit more. That said, I think could have gone in to the background as to why the people were murdered a little more.
I do find some of the language a little odd, and not how someone would speak to someone they know well.

As usual another very good book. It had me in a few tears at the end when Sara’s mum died.
One thing that intrigues me, Sara and Carla are very good friends and confide in each other, but they do not meet up after work or weekends to go out together. Surely good friends do go out socially?
I would recommend this book.

Wow! What a storyline! People are dropping like flies and Sara and team are totally stretched. Can they stop the perpetrators before more are murdered. Can Sara handle the pressure? With lots going on in her personal life will she cope? Highly recommend! Cried like a baby at the ending.

An okay story.

This is a boilerplate police procedural. Three grisly murders, A lucky break and the mystery is solved. Written to appeal to a UK audience, with plenty of local slang.
