Lady Cleo’s Inconvenient Marriage

This was an interesting story. Cleo and Arthur married. She was still clinging to the love of Harlan, friend of Arthur. She was so unhappy, Arthur offered for her to go to his country estate. There she slowly began to recover her disappointment. She came across a lady hovering by a tree on her walk. She took this lady to her home, then her trouble began. Enjoy their story Tory.

Throw a French spy and British military into the middle of an unwanted marriage and you have the makings of a delightful story. Cleo did not want to marry Arthur—she had given her heart to another. But Arthur had loved her for years and willingly married her when her reputation was ruined. His kindness and patience wins in the end.

I enjoyed this book, but would have loved more of CLEO AND Arthur's story after they discovered their love. It seemed like not enough information given about her earlier years.

I loved Arthur's love from the beginning and would have loved CLEO to have come to her love sooner and m of re o f their time together.

Subterfuge

Cleo married Arthur while still holding tender feelings for another. She is sent to the country estate and becomes embroiled in an unexpected situation. The story takes a few interesting fumbles and twists.

Had it all

Very interesting and entertaining book. Cleo was still center of the storyline as Author showed his emotionally driven approach to his future.

Enjoyable read!

I enjoyed the story line but did get a little frustrated with Lady Cleo's treatment of Arthur. He seemed so kind and had true feelings for her.
