The Swamp is gaining another power couple
Each book in this series seems to produce an amazing couple, and I adore Sav/Beth, & Spook/Maggie, but The Revelator & Cherie are something special. Their dynamic is off the charts with passion, humor, & mystery. Both coming to terms with their past demons, dealing with insecurities and trauma. You can't help but root for them. Mr Bane does a fantastic job at weaving in events from the previous books to continue on the story of the Bayou Bishops while at the same time introducing us to new characters. Be prepared to laugh, sigh, fan yourself, and get gut punched with this book...that ending. Whoa boy, going to need that book 4 "The Seer" asap.
Full disclosure: I KU'd this one, and now will be purchasing it. It's definitely a keeper.

I am just head over heels in love with this series! Like Sahvrin with Beth I didn’t see it coming, I know Lucian never fails to disappoint but this series is just so unique, passionate and beautifully written!
Our two leads in this one are The Revelator (Samual) and Cherie. They have an instant connection, for two people who have a troubled past and a darkness they can’t escape their banter is carefree and real.
The Revelator is the all seeing eye in the swamp, his touch tells him all he needs to know about a person and though he can do the same with Cherie he doesn’t want to not only does he want her to come to him but his deep need for her burns him from within at the thought. He wants nothing more than to make her his, but he will wait. He has never had these feelings before and he is sure he won’t with any other.
Cherie is a beautiful soul, followed by her past she so desperately wants to run from. She can’t resist The Revelator, all it took was for her to literally crash right into him and he took over her world. She is scared, lost and so attracted to him she doesn’t know what to do with it. She is so funny, yet insecure before of the encounters she’s had with men in the past.
Of course we see Beth and Sahvrin in this book too cause they are a pair we need in our lives, Beth is still twisting up her Eveque and set to prove she is right hand material!
I could write so much more about this book but I don’t want to give anyway any spoilers. It’s hot, funny, and powerful!
I highly recommend!!
Please be advised you need to read book 1 & 2 and in true bane fashion there is a cliffhanger.. I am ready and waiting for more!

The Revelator is a very simple man even though his ability makes him so special to everyone in the swamps. His ability to see things has been a blessing and a challenge. He appears holy and righteous although it's the humility which I love most about him.
Being left with no family and to be schooled with his guardian to the education of the Bible makes him so incredible. He doesn't have a flamboyant bone in his body because he doesn't want what more materialistic people do.
As we "paused" at the end of Eveque, it was as good as written that this would be his book. The buildup was placed well and I was ready. Of course Eveque and the Belle Eveque are our cornerstone in the Bishops swamps. Sahvrin and Beth pass more tests as well as Spook and Maggie make their due appearances.
Revelator, Samuel, has been in an accident and lost some memory. The woman who is placed in his path is a woman who has seen her own share of trouble. Ironically or not, Cherie is a very spiritual woman. She has conversations with God, makes bargains, and prays her life will be better. *im laughing*
Revelator gets his memory back but he realized something. He is very drawn to Cherie. And it seems God has put her right in his path. The celibacy code has become alot more flexible. Thank God.
It's not another honeymoon though because we are missing our Cherie.
Let's pause. Oh yeah, Lesion is going to play a part next time. Mon fucking Dieu...congrats @lucian_w_bane

In this continuation of the Bayou Bishops Saga you will become further acquainted with the Samuel, the Revelator and meet the woman that makes him feel things he's never felt before. You will also see more of your faves, Sahvrin, Beth, Spook and Maggie. This story is well written and full of action, intrigue and heat.

The Revelator which is book 3 in the Bayou Bishops series by Lucian Bane is milder than the first two in the series. Lucian Bane's way of writing about his characters and religion without them being religious is unlike anything I've read before. Normally as soon as I find out non-cult like religion is in a book I put it down, it doesn't interest me. With Lucian Bane's books, it's so different. I'm intrigued and want to read it.
This book picks up right where the second book left off with a cliffhanger. Revelator was riding his bike down the street and was hit by Cherie's car. Since Maggie told him what she saw he has been different. And Cherie instantly wakes up the non-celibate side of Revelator that he has no experience with. He's a grown man that has never even kissed a woman. He takes Cherie back to the swamp because he wants to protect her from her past and the things that haunt her. Though the first part of their story is short, they teach each other so much. Revelator is already in love with her and she's fallen for him but doesn't want him to get hurt. Revelator ended up going to Bishop for a sex ed lesson and OMG I've never laughed so hard. I don't think Bishop should be the one teaching about that. Maybe his Belle Eveque, Beth who we finally saw in the Bat-tie against Bishop's ex-wife Katrina. I knew it was going to be good but not how good it was. Did Katrina win like everyone thought she would? Or did Beth show the skills she learned and beat her? This book is left on a cliffhanger of course. Just as Revelator learned about the deep dark secret in Cherie's past and how they are actually connected, she ran and left the swamp to protect him. Will he go after her? Can he go after her with the 50-man Bat-tie getting closer?
I gave this book a 4-star rating and a 4 spicy rating because it was a big build-up that was good and funny but left on a cliffhanger to be continued in the next book. Things are changing in the swamp as the guys find their women and I see things getting a bit crazy going forward with what Mah-Mah and Beth have in the works. I predict more sex ed classes in the books to come and can't wait to read them. Anyone could like this series and this book. It's not a conventional MC series so it's not just for MC book lovers like me. It's great for anyone who likes a dark romance with twists and turns along the way.

Holy crap on a cracker!!! 'The Revelator' is the third book in Lucian Bane's "Bayou Bishops" series and, if you're like me, it will blow your mind! Have you read this series yet? Have you at least started it? Okay, please don't shortchange yourself as I did. I just got to this in my 'To Be Read' list and I'm so sorry I waited so long. Read the blurb and you'll realize that The Revelator is a spiritual man, not to be mistaken for a religious man, who has always had a strict moral compass and sees to the needs of the people in the swamp. He's lived a celibate life until Maggie, with her seeing powers, freed him of the self-imposed leash he kept himself on. This is wonderful as far as Mah Mah is concerned because you know how much she loves to play matchmaker. Fate, the Good Lord, or Lucian Bane have decided differently. Cherie is brought into life and nothing is the same. There is a wonder and innocence within this storyline, combined with the intense physical chemistry, which makes this a compelling read. Cherie is a contradiction unto herself. She has a shy, intimidated, almost fearful personality when it comes to intimacy towards her but a playful, aggression when it comes to Samuel. This is not one to be missed for sure.

This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have loved reading her books from the first one. One of my favorite things about this author is their ability to pull me into the story from the first word. This book is no different. I found this book to be a well written story where the characters pop off the pages and bring the story to life. This is a story about Revelator how he was raised from a baby in the Bayou. What will happen when he is set free and what is the price that must be paid for such freedom? He is a great character that really made the story for me. There is great growth with the other characters and the plot throughout the story. This is a must read story. It is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading books one and two. It will help enhance your enjoyment of this series as well as this author. Find out what happens to Revelator as familiar darkness threatens imprisonment. You don't want to miss this one. I highly recommend this book and this author.

The Revelator is riding down the road when he is run over by a car the driver a beautiful black woman Cherie, has so.much on her mind. She is heading home from her last job just outside of Breaux Bridge. She takes him home because he is unconscious and she wants nothing to do with the cops.. But she is hiding plenty from him when he comes too they are at her place.. Revelator takes her to the swamp and she is happy especially when she meets everyone and finds she is welcomed and excited to .attend the Bat-tie which she found entertaining and informative. The beginning of a humorous, and dangerous story line line and characters, this romantic suspense, action adventure. Book 3. I pur asked this book. I am providing an honest review.

Oh my lord! The Revelator has found his match! Cherie basically runs him over while talking to herself about getting fired from her job. With him knocked out, bleeding from his head, Cherie decided she can have no police called so she loads him in her car and takes him home. Thus begins the trials and tribulations of Samuel, the no longer celibate Revelator. All is not smooth sailing though.
Beth has her bat-tie with Katherine but that doesn’t go as quite as Sahvrin planned either. Spook brings Maggie and once Maggie seek Katherine go after her sister??? Well, needless to say, Spook has his hands full of one enraged woman. Free for all!
We end this book on a sour note…and I can’t wait to see what Samuel, Bishop, Beth and Lesion come up with.

Hmm, maybe you should just read this book. I did like the banter between Revelator and Cherie. I'm not sure about their ages. I don't think it ever said. This series just keeps getting more exciting! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. There is so much drama, suspense, and so many unexpected twists and turns that I found myself holding my breath!
This book focuses on the swamp's revelatory, or seer. He has remained celibate his entire life because he believes a darkness follows him, and he's always been afraid to let any woman get too close. Watching him struggle with his fears while uncovering shocking revelations made for an emotional and captivating story. I couldn't put it down and can't wait to see what happens next in the series!

We are continuing our journey through the swamp with this, the beginning of The Revelator (Samuel) and Cherie's story. While our two Hs are central the rest of the crew are also included in the writing, keeping the overall theme going through the series, you really need to read these books in order to keep with the story timeline. This is not your typical MC series, it is beautifully original, characters that are well developed and an amazingly creative world.

I am so in love with this series and the strong women that are becoming part of the lives of the Twelve and Cherie and her sass is on the top of the list. These men are devoted to their calling, family, and on the top is the women coming into their lives. These book did not disappoint and I devoured it. It has action, suspense, humor, and so much heat…the sparks between Samuel and Cherie and our other couples are off the chart!

Such a bitter sweet story of fear, longing, and discovery about what love could and should be. It is very rare to read a story about a male virgin and the road he has to take to find himself. Self esteem is an issue and definitely has to be overcome but the love is there to supply the power. Very good story but am moving on to next book to find out if their happy ever after.

Samuel and Cherie story has begun but it looks like this one is going to be a lot more complicated than Spook and Maggie's was. Cheri is running and Samuel is falling. Falling from himself, from grace and for Cherie. She has everything to fear in being found but she can't let her past stop Samuel from finding his way in a new life, but before Samuel has a say, she is gone. Did she leave or have her demons finally found her.

Revelator is up on deck with continuing the Bayou Bishops saga. He is literally hit by Cherie as she escapes her demons. The two form a connection only her fear makes her run. It’s an enthralling tale of love, passion, patience and self discovery. I’m curious to see how Bishop, Rev and Lesion get Rev’s girl back.

Didn't disappoint!!
Again another amazing book in the Bishop Series!! Love that we continue to learn about new people but the story line all ties together and you don't lose what made you love this story in the first place. Its hot as ever and the romance is on point. Judgement is coming!
Revelatory has finally found his future with his Cherie. Misunderstandings put her in the path of a danger that has been hunting her. The tension ratchets up as puzzle pieces slowly fit together and the Twelve are called into action. I'm completely hooked on this series and Lucian Bane knows exactly how to reel a reader in and leave a them begging for more.

Disappointed.
This is an intriguing and unique story that would keep you entertained to the end. Cherie met the revelator when she literally knocked him down.They form a connection but when her fears makes her run it leave revelator disappointed.This is an incredible tale of love,passion and patience.I received a free copy of this book so my review is voluntary.

Holy Hell -Hotter than August in the Bayou
Oh my word. This installation took the hot factor up another notch.
The scenes and the descriptions of the characters thinking about each other will have you squirming in your seat.
My husband doesn't know what's going on but he's happily going along with my spontaneous urges!

The story continues with twists and turns!
My, my, my! I just tapped my Kindle to go to the next page…and there were no more! Took a deep breath and felt extremely grateful that I could simply go on to the next book! Don't stop there!
Rev and Cherie are perfect for each other. I already have the next book lined up and ready to go. My favorite thing about this series is the commitment to family. They have each other's back no matter what. I love that the couples are 100% all in for each other, but the fact they absorb everyone into the fold is my life's goal.

Starting with Bayou Bishops this series continues to pull you into the dark and mysterious world of the Swamp of Louisiana. It's addictive I tell you. And getting to know the Revelator and see his relationship with Cherie unfold is everything. I don't do spoilers, you just have to trust me, and read the series for yourself. 5 Stars all the way.

Revelator never saw her coming
Cherie hits Revelator quite literally, but she's the one who is knocked off her feet. Unfortunately for both, her feet only have one mode, and that's to run. Revelator has to break through her walls, one brick at a time.
