If your looking for the perfect meal to satisfy every corner of your soul look no further.
The beginning is a feast of mouth watering goodness with tension in every bite. The middle is a delicious chemistry that thrilling and exciting . The end is angst filled and satisfying and the best thing you’ve ever had.
In essence you want another now, but know you probably just had perfection and nothing will ever be as good. Not until the next Stella Andrews book at least. Can’t wait to taste The Mafia Club.

It's been a long time since I've read a book with a heroine as shallow as this one. The selfish, manipulative alphahole is not new but when you add them together this book was a dumpster fire of WTF moments and utter disappointment.
That we get no resolution and appear to never even acknowledge that someone tried to kill Lauren annoyed me as well. Why add that in as a murder attempt and then treat it as an accident?
I am on the fence about moving onto club mafia. Not sure I have faith that the Heroines will have any kind of backbone, ambition or self respect that can't be overcome by sparkly dresses and pretty shoes and out of nowhere bdsm.
This book is titled a dark romance. In order for there to be a romance, the hero and heroine have to spend time together.
The book starts off with the heroine saying she spent one night with Baron at a friend's wedding. One sentence, that's it. Not a flashback scene.
Then we spend all this time with her new boss, Alessandro. He tells her she "dresses like she came from a dime store" and forces her to buy a new wardrobe from Chanel as her uniform. No underwear allowed.
Then when she gets on his plane for a work trip to Canada he grabs her hair and tells her to bleach it because he only allows blonde women around him. And she's his slave, he can spank her or tell her to ride him and she will do it.
I stopped reading at this point. I don't like the boss, I don't like her (for agreeing to change herself for a guy) and the hero, Baron, isn't even in the book at this point.
Baron has known that Laurne would always be his but when Maxim makes a deal with his future wife, Baron sees his chances slipping away with Lauren. He has to come up with a plan to hold on to the one woman that he has been in love with since he was twelve. Once again Ms. Andrews has woven a story that draws you in and keeps you spellbound! It is well written, descriptive and you can't help but cheer Baron and Laurne on to finding their chance for happiness!

Didn’t love it, but I did love Baron. He had a dark & sexy side, & his love for Lauren was obsessive. He proved there was no limit to what he’d do to make her his. It took me a while to get into this book. I’m curious about the side characters & whether Eloise & Natalia get a HEA w/Duke & Gabriel. I’m also left wondering what it was Baron promised the guys f/the Mafia Club back in college. Not sure I’ll dive into that series or not, but I am definitely curious. All in all not a bad book, just took a bit to get into & wasn’t one of my favorites.
Baron by Stella Andrews is the story of Lauren Berkley & Baron Fitzgerald. Baron has known Lauren since they where young and he has always wanted her. When they are older and share a night together it just seals the deal for him that she is his. But Lauren has a dream to leave Kingdom of Andromeda and go off to pursue her career. But Barron plans to bring her back and claim her. Enjoyed their story.
After reading “The Boss” and “The Contract”, I was extremely disappointed in this one. These men talk about being better men than their fathers but the way they treat women tells a different story. To intimidate and frighten a woman the way Alessandro did was distasteful. To basically rape a woman and leave her to pee in a bucket is degrading. If it was not for a great ending, I would rate this book a complete 0 for being distasteful.
But the angst and conflict and absolute abuse, is how the privileged love each other, weaponising how sometimes they have to kiss trauma.
Fuck hes a cunt.
Reading him wanting to abuse and control her.
And the author trying to convinced me its love wanting to see someone gagged like pork.
Love that seeks to control and coerce.
I think its cute, needing to make your own conflicts because you don't think women are worth a man who also had to feel the impact of his choices.
Like actually feel them.
Feelings are physical, not mental.
They are actions, not wishes.
The body is the organ of emotion.
And he weaponised both their bodies for his toxic control issues.
Shes a wet blanket.
Shes not real.
If she was, his choices would have an impact on her neuroplasticity.
But it doesn't.
Shes not a person. Shes barely a whipping boy.
Because shes a placeholder for the Unseen, Unloved and utterly Unfucked to continue manifesting depowering themselves when it comes to love and support.
I love perceiving you buffered privileged cunts who need to make their own conflicts so they can save him from consequences over and over again.
Sad Green Pilled Patriarchial Parable of Toxicity.
Nuance needing her gagged all you want.
Doms don't want to be Doms, people ask us to Dom them safely.
Asshole.
At this point, romance authors just nuance how they affirm that manhood is a condition of toddlerhood, that they need to protect.

In this book we meet Lauren Berkley & Baron Fitzgerald. Lauren is finally getting to live out her dreams. If not for her friend Cassie marrying to make sure this happened she might have stayed and married Baron. The problem being the dream she had is quickly turning into a nightmare. She is determined to make it work though until the one man she can't forget. Baron has known from the time he was 12 that Lauren would be his. The problem being once his friend Maxim made his deal with his wife she was starting to slip through his fingers. He had to do something quick to make sure the one woman he has always loved would always be his. Will this give them a HEA thought or will it be the one thing to ensure that they are never together?
Another amazing hit but this author. It is a stand alone but if you want to know who these characters are they are first mentioned in Marry a King. Super amazing story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Verified ARC Reader Lauren's Choice! by sewsummore
Baron and Lauren had known each other since childhood and after the wedding of Lauren's childhood friend Cassie to The King of Andromeda, she sleeps with Baron for the first and only time before leaving the next morning to follow her dream of being a famous movie producer. It was a difficult decision to for her to make since she had loved Baron for many years. Andromeda was a country ruled by men who believed women should be married young and belonged in the home raising the children. Baron never believed that Lauren would leave him and was both angry and devastated when she left. Baron and Lauren have a happy ending but not before Lauren is forced to undergo a traumatic and frightening series of events. I was shocked at what had happened to Lauren and even more shocked when I learned who was responsible and why!

I have read the companion series with the Club Mafia. Baron was at the university and spent time with the guys. Actually Baron is part of the Club Mafia. He was a better person then and to Winter. This is his story about how he met the true love of his life, the one and only Lauren. There is a happy ending but the storyline is dark as Baron did not have a good childhood. I liked the book but not fond of Baron with Lauren whilst he was punishing her for leaving him after Cassie and King Maxim’s wedding and reception. Lauren should have had a choice for her life choices but Baron took that away and she was thrust into Baron’s trap. It’s difficult to read because of poor Lauren, but it’s an interesting storyline overall. I did not reduce my rating due my dislike of a character or his actions because that was just part of the storyline. Read On!
Baron is psychotic, no doubt about it. He goes from wanting to break Lauren down to be a perfectly submissive wife to begging her to come back to him in about five seconds. Truly, he's an utter as who takes away his one true love's every choice and takes pleasure in her mental and physical pain. Lauren starts as strong, determined, and ambitious, then crumbles like a stale cookie when she meets her abusive boss. Any other woman with two brain cells to rub together would have run screaming from the building. Despite the fatal character flaws of manipulative chauvinism and idiocy--and the consistent misuse of apostrophes--I enjoyed the book. The author writes well. I just wish she'd use a competent proofreader and give her characters some redeeming qualities beyond physical beauty.
Ever since I read the synopsis I couldn't stop myself from reading this book and I didn't regret a bit.
I love this book. It was dark but not that dark. While I was reading, I was getting shivers, and they're a good kind of shivers. Not to mention the steamy scenes. And I had an idiotic smile in my face the whole time. It has dual POV. So it's a win-win situation.
Baron is a manipulative bastard. He has gone an extreme way to have Lauren. Their love wasn't insta. Because they wanted each other for a long time. This book isn't long, but it's not a novella either. It was worth my time, and I love dark romance.
If you want an alpha man who would do anything to have you and love you with a dark and edgy side, then this is the book.
This is Baron and Lauren’s story. These two have known each other since childhood, and now as adults they spend a night together, and Lauren leaves to pursue her dreams of becoming a movie producer, and Baron is equally determined to get her back. For Lauren it was not an easy decision to leave, but she is left questioning herself as things do not pan out as she hoped. This is a well written story which is dark, raw, gritty, intense, and with emotions, surprises, twists, drama, passion, suspense, secrets, passion, and love, which leads to a steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Weird, there was all this building tension and then suddenly the biggest anticlimax I've ever come across (it's ironic when an anticlimax is that climactic, isn't it)?. The characters were incredibly inconsistent, which made it unbelievable and made me wonder about the writing process, did the author drop it for months at a time, forget what she'd written, but continue on anyway? The MMC needed a lot more growth, and FMC needed a personality, she was kind of blank and ended up being a MMC echo chamber. And the society (cult), wtf was that all about? I don't think I'm interested enough to find out but I did finish this one, so it wasn't completely awful.
I read this book and so many times it took my breath away. It was very dark and Baron was quite a vicious character. Lauren got caught up with his character And he was obsessive, overwhelming and the arrogance just exuded off him. Made me wonder what right he had to do that to another. It was very well written, supremely well thought out and plotted with amazingly deep characterisations that came to life off the page. It was a real eye opening book that I really enjoyed.

Baron and Lauren's romance, like every relationship in Andromeda, is a relationship that starts with what the man wants. Andromeda is a secret society of sorts and a little antiquated. Baron decides that Lauren is his, so he makes their relationship happen, but at what cost. This story has a darkness to it, but is not too over the top that it makes the storyline too dark. I absolutely cannot wait for Duke and Natalie's story, that I hope is coming next.

This book is full of so many surprises. I loved the strong well developed characters, I couldn’t believe what Baron did to get Lauren to be with him. This book is so full of dark passion, secrets, suspense, drama, and so much more. The interesting storyline kept me turning those pages through to the end. I loved how the author showed us what happened with their lives so many years later. This book won’t let you down.

Let the record show that as noted this is a dark romance. It is also a stand alone story of Baron and Lauren. You meet the characters in Marry a King bit do not need to read that book. Lauren and Baron have know each other their whole lives. Baron has always believed Lauren to be his. Yet a series of events changes how each thinks the other should be in their lives. Dark, intense and a captivating read. This author can tell such a great story where you get to know all the broken pieces of the characters.

Wow, brilliantly written. This book connects the last book of the Five Kings to the new series the Mafia Club. A fanfreakingtastic read with so many layers and levels of emotion, drama, angst and oh so tingle worthy moments. Baron goes over and beyond cray cray measures to make sure Lauren becomes his. Lauren has dreams and after he best friend's sacrifice, she had to make some difficult choices. The road to their love was fascinating dark. The craziness left me clutching my pearls at the hopeful vs the hopelessness! An awesome read!
This is an interesting if somewhat dark read about Baron's determination to have Lauren as his wife no matter what the cost may be. He's a member of Andromeda a sort of secret society with antiquated ways where the man gets to state his wants and the woman is supposed to fall in with his desires. So when Baron decides that Lauren will be his, he makes sure their relationship happens. To find out how or what Lauren does you will have to download this one for yourself.
As always; Stella writes 2 amazing characters, then wraps them in a story so sinful it could be a decadent chocolate desert!
A little more succinct that previous books, but I still read it in 2 sittings cause it was too good to put down.
Make sure if you haven’t read the other books in the series you at least read the red prequel ‘The bridesmaid & the baron’ as it makes this so much more enjoyable!

"I'm reminded that the men in my life control every part of me."
Lauren starts a new job that's supposed to help her achieve her dreams, instead it's a nightmare. Get ready for Lauren and Baron's intense story, bullying and violence, manipulation and anger, passion and control, secrets and surprising twists. It is interesting how the author incorporated characters from two of her other series into this storyline.
Every Baron needs a Baroness, and she needs to be strong and independent. Lauren knew where she belonged but thought she had to honor her friend's sacrifice. Sometimes the strongest thing to do is to let someone else take your burden

Lauren is set to leave the kingdom of Andromeda to pursue a career in Hollywood after a hot and passionate night with Baron. As he sees her leave he has a plan in place that will force her to return. Having introduced her to his darker side and desires, they return home only for events to take an unexpected and tragic turn. However, love prevails in the end. Read an ARC for an honest review.
Deliciously dark & deviant... Hold on tight, this is beyond anything "normal" & I loved it! Won't dwell on the story itself as that's been pretty well covered in the blurb & previous reviews. The hero orchestrated everything to get the girl he desired more than anyone. Her dreams were shattered but his love would save her, even if she came to know the truth. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Baron is a followup to Club Mafia; The Contract. Baron, who is actually a Baron, uses his Club Mafia connections to get back the only woman he has ever loved. Again, great characters, great details, great storyline, without so much malice and evil, but a touch of kink. Enjoy.
An incredible read Baron is such a mysterious character and you're going to fall in love with his story. He has loved Lauren his whole life, and as he lets her go he sets her up with the worst sort of person to drive her back to the home she belongs in. I loved their ending I cried laughed and cheered for their perfect ending.
Baron, his dark side is so beautiful. He pulls you in. His love for Lauren knows no end. The Baroness, Lauren, the love of his life never knew this dark side or that she would experience that kind of passion. Exquisite! There is a plot and the characters are built beautifully. Enjoy all!
